This was my second stay here it's very convenient and very good price I would recommend to stay here while visiting kathmandu

The location is close to all the central tourist spots and, at the same time, quiet. Very good breakfast. Very helpful team. The bed is huge and very comfortable. It has hot water, excellent internet and an elevator. I often had a coffee on the roof terrace, which offers a wonderful view of the Himalayas.

Friendly stuff and very helpfull owner, when i needed help with finding a hospital becuse i felt very sick, owner drove me to the local hospital. Nice quiet location

The location is really good being only 15-20 minutes from airport and walking distance to everything you want to see downtown. There is a 24 hour attention at the hotel. The owner is really nice and helpfu, and at the reception a Travel agent help you with everything you need from recommendations to rental of motorcycle. There is also a very good and cheap restaurant for all meal just in front as well as a grocery store opened till 23:00 (not easy to find). Soo much value for your money. 😊

The front desk staffs are very friendly, they never say no to your request, the hotel owner very friendly and smiling, very clean room, because of my kids vacation they suggest and provide me the very comfortable room too, very nice view from the rooftop, staff are well behaved and very warmly welcoming, My son and husband enjoy a lot while I was having business meetings outside with the clients, trust me the hotel is very cleaned, bathrooms and beds are very comfortable. The best location, Monkey Temple nearby, the markets are very closed and so beautiful at night. I will definitely comeback again for my business trips!!

New Hotel Panda is a beautiful hotel tucked away in a lovely little nook in Kathmandu. The owner and his staff are absolutely lovely and catered very well to my needs. The food is great and room service is available, plus a really cool rooftop with seats where you can take in the city views! The rooms are safe, secure and very comfortable, with fast WiFi, hot showers and a cosy bed. The location is also amazing being right in the middle of Thamel with all of the cities sights close by. If you are a foreigner looking for a wonderful place to stay for your trip to Nepal, please book the hotel panda, it will be a fantastic start to your trip! Can’t recommend enough.

I loved my stay here, nothing to complain about

First of all the location is just PERFECT! It is 1 min away from busy Thamel but in a really quiet street so you can have a nice sleep, but still everything is sooo close. Secondly the owner and the whole staff is so kind, helpful and welcoming. We had nice conversations about the local life and now we understand things about Nepal, they are always open to answer my questions. The rooftop is just an extra! We love to watch sunsets and have breakfast on the rooftop and admire the mountains from here. Rooms are comfy, water is hot, and breakfast is fulfilling. Wifi works well. We only can recommend them!

Budget place super close to center. Extremely quiet. The owner and family lives on site and was gracious at offering a chat, a coffee, and recommendations. They have a nice rooftop with a great view of the city. The water in the shower is HOT (which is sometimes a hit and miss with budget stays, but here not). The staff are very nice and helpful. The beds were very comfy and clean, the water heater was working well and there are locks to secure your room well. There was also a TV but I didn’t use it. I would most certainly recommend this place.

It’s not the most modern place but it didn’t matter as I wasn’t there long.

The staff are very friendly and welcoming. They try to give the best service to their guests. The bed and pillows are very comfortable. The location is not that far to Thamel and Kathmandu Durbar Square and there are good restaurants nearby. Hot shower is available and the hotel personnel and owner are very helpful. They even helped me print my visa document and they treat me for a complimentary milk tea. Thanks so much to the management. I will stay again for my next visit.

This is a great location in the busy Thamel area but just away from the noise and traffic. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. The first time I stayed I arrived from an international flight after 10pm and was hungry, and they cooked me some delicious vegetable momo and brought them to my room. I stored some luggage with them while I went trekking, for no charge. They arranged taxis to the airport at a good price. It was cold the second time I stayed, but the duvet kept me cosy and warm at night. This is a good value option for staying in Thamel.
