All of the hotel staff was kind, welcoming, and helpful. There was an elevator that made moving our bags in and out very easy. The view from the hotel restaurant is amazing, and the restaurant staff were very attentive. The location of the hotel was convenient but far enough away from the main tourist streets. I would definitely stay here again and can confidently recommend the Woodapple Hotel.

Other hotels around the Woodapple Hotel sometimes played loud music late into the night that could be heard from inside the rooms. Like in many other buildings in Nepal, the doors and walls are thin, so noise travels easily.

I came to Kathmandu to move here for work, and stayed at Woodapple for my transition. It was a perfect location for getting used to Kathmandu Valley, and was near the tourist areas without being in the heart of the bustle. The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating. They truly go out of their way to make your stay perfect. The restaurant on the top had beautiful views, great food and amazing staff. I will recommend this property to anyone coming to visit Kathmandu, and will definitely stay again!

The hotel is situated amongst many other hotels and hostels, and on the weekends, they play very loud music late into the night and that can be heard through the closed windows into the rooms. Like many Nepal accommodations, the walls and doors are very thin so it’s easy to hear noise in your room from the hallways.

The facility was in the center of Kathmandus Entertainment District. Also near to some of the tourist spots in the city. The location of the hotel was the prime advantage of the facility. It was comfortable. It was a good value for money. Staff were very helpful. Food was good. Housekeeping lady was very kind and accomodating. Also SADIKSHYA the front desk lady very accomodating. And all the bell men.

What I just did'nt like was how the operations manager kept on reminding his guests about rating the hotel after check out. One reminder is actually enough. It's a little irritating, but his friendly though.

We stayed at the property before and after our Everest base camp hike. The first time, we checked into a standard room and it was great. Clean and comfortable. The staff at the check in desk were very helpful and the owner made us feel special straight away. They allowed us to store luggage at the hotel whilst we completed our trek. After we finished our hike, we returned and stayed in a suite so that we could have a bath after 8 days without one! The room was fabulous. Very spacious! We were able to do all of our laundry for about $40 and it was returned quickly, ironed and smelling fresh. We had an issue in the evening as one of the lights in the room wouldn’t switch off but the reception team quickly dealt with this and moved us to the room next door. Very helpful. The restaurant upstairs was great and we ate most of our meals there. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would love to thank all of the staff for making us feel so welcome.

Try and take your own bags to the room as the security guard came into our room and wouldn’t leave until we tipped him. We felt a little uncomfortable.

we got an Upgrade to junior suite and therefore could enjoy a nice bathtub. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Hotel is located in a more quiet area of Thamel, which is Great. nice rooftop, Cocktails tasted ok, not the best. breakfast included is nice, Not the best coffee. we also got a massage in the spa which was great and Not expensive at all.

we got a bath with bathtub which was great, but for showering, especially for taller people, it was bit inconvinient. initially we wanted to expand our stay, but they told us it was fully booked, while on booking.com rooms were availabel, this was bit weired.

Location is great, staff are exceptionally nice and it’s very clean. Bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean and tidy.

If I could pick on 1 thing I’d say breakfast wasn’t great but for the price I didn’t expect 5 star food. It did the job but it was a bit cold and the variety wasn’t great. Still I’m not unhappy, this place is awesome.

The entire staff of the hotel including the Manager were very hospitable. They helped us arrange taxi for getting by Kathmandu and even made sure we were comfortable in our rooms. The rooftop restaurant provides full 360 view and the food was delicious. Very centrally located and close to shops and a couple of mins walking to Thamel. Highly recommend anyone who is traveling to Kathmandu whether on holiday or for business to stay here. The quality of service is truly exceptional.

Everything was fantastic!

Welcoming staff and good location. The hotel is brand new, the room are confortable and clean. I was on the fifth floor and enjoy quite a nice view. There's a bar/ restaurant which serves as the breafast on the last floor with a great view.

Nothing to dislike, there was a little bit of noise from a building near by under construction, but nothing the hotel can do, and it shoud be over in a week or two

I was picked up at the airport by Mr. Bisnu manager of the hotel very warm friendly and kind, arriving at the hotel all the staff were excellent. I had immediately one of the best massages of my life and Mr. Bisnu arranged my trip beautifully that I got to see the best highlights of the country. I highly recommend the hotel and Mr. Bisnus arrangements. The country is absolutely amazing the people, culture, and spiritual traditions make this the best trip of my life so far. I will definitely be back very soon as I only had 10 days and there is so much to see and do. The energy of Anapurna Holy Mountain rejuvenated me. I absolutely love Nepal ❤️🙏Namaste!

The Woodapple was a great place to stay close to the main tourist area only a 5 min walk but quiet. The team we very helpful. I became unwell and returned earlier than planned from my hike, they juggled rooms so that I was able to stay the unexpected nights. Would stay again should I return to Nepal.
