The hotel is really very nice - quite location close to the lake. Very clean rooms. We got even the room with the terrace! Nice food. But the best was their manager Mr. Sanjog - he was reeeealy nice to us and very helpful. He helped us a lot with money exchange (good exchange rate), private trip around Pokhara and organized tour to Chitwan. I would say, we returned back from the ABC track directly to this hotel only because of this kind guy (and he also helped us with the comfortable transfer to Nayapul and back). We're very helpful for his care!

Ever ready staff, with big smiles. Great location, in a side road BUT just close enough to the main road to avoid busy traffic. Easy access, by walking to many shops, restaurants and the lake. Staff arrange everything, thebjotel is a one stop shop. They arranged airport transfers, booked domestic flights and tours/activities. Very good communcation before during and after the visit. All the vedors in the area know the hotel, so no need to explain location.

Everything! The rooms were exceptionally clean. We had a room with a balcony and could see part of the Annapurna mountain range on a clear morning. Water provided daily. Breakfast offered included fruit salad, eggs, toast, sausage, fried potatoes and a small portion of butter and jam. Milk tea and instant coffee included in price. The dhal, fried momos and special fried vegetable rice were very tasty (thank you Aalun). The hospitality we received here was exceptional. From the helpfulness and cheerfulness of Sanjog in arranging taxis and trips (all reasonably priced and with such enthusiasm for his country) to Samita and Aashish on reception, and to Roshan who never stopped (and all with a smile). They work so incredibly hard to ensure you enjoy your stay. We felt so welcomed and left feeling part of the family. We will never forget all of you and a little piece of us will be left in Pokhara. I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Lake Shore! The location is excellent, offering a peaceful and convenient setting. The room was impeccably clean, and the breakfast was delicious with a great variety of options. The staff truly stood out—they were exceptionally friendly, helpful, and attentive, making my stay even more enjoyable. A special thanks to Mr. Sanjog, the Operations Manager, for his outstanding hospitality and professionalism. His dedication to ensuring guest satisfaction is commendable and truly made a positive impression. I highly recommend Hotel Lake Shore and look forward to staying here again in the future.

Exceptionally clean throughout. Comfortable beds (family room). Good shower (once we'd figured out how it worked!). Effective air conditioning in the room. Very friendly, helpful and respectful staff. Hotel would have provided transport from the bus station (or airport) although we chose to make our own arrangements. Great location very close to Lake Phewa but quiet. Good choices at breakfast (not buffet style) and we'd recommend the thakali kharna for dinner. Lovely roof top terrace. Nice views, although the clouds obscure the higher mountains at this time of year.

No negatives. We really enjoyed our one night stay.

This hotel is in the perfect spot. Just off the busy street, quiet, super comfortable, affordable, the breakfast is amazing, the staff are fantastic. Everything from the brilliant reception, the clean and well thought out design of the hotel and rooms, the comfy beds, the exceptional service and help from the staff when booking transfers and recommendations etc. The hotel is brilliant and we cannot wait to go visit again. Special thanks to Sanjog the manager, his awesome uncle that dropped us at the airport, the staff who are brilliant, and for sorting out all our extra travel arrangements.

I guess it was one of my best experience in a hotel. The location was really great just beside the lake and we could see the mountains from the balcony also. Main part is the hotel stuff!! Mr. Sanjog, Operation manager of the hotel The best person I met in nepal! He has every solution of every problem and even after leaving he constantly take care of us while we are in nepal! Me and my wife was really surprised to find him as our guardian angel in nepal! Thank you. He managed every single thing from the bus ticket to adventure sports and the sightseeing in a very reasonable price! I am sure everyone will like their stay!!

Everything. * World Class five star level hospitality lead by Sanjog, the general manager. Going above and beyond to make sure you feel welcomed, looked after and get all the attention you need. Well organised operation. * Location is superb. From my room's balcony a clear view of the mountains of the Himalaya and the lake as well. Absolutely stunning. In walking distance you can find hundreds of quality restaurants, tourist shops. Reception is ready to advise and organise everything for you for an affordable and competitive price range. * The room itself is fantastic, A/C (I didn't need it) working, bathroom and the room is spotless clean and the bed mattress is comfortable as well.

Even, if you put a gun to my head, I wouldn't able to mention anything negative. Really impressive!

- beautiful and relaxing room with comfortable beds and pillows - we’ll equipped with water heater, tea and instant coffee. Also they restock the water bottles if you need. - room and the hotel in general are clean - breakfast was good. You can choose between Indian, continental and English breakfast.

- view from our room was to the back with a hotel under construction and some trash - WiFi is weak and inconstant - the friendliness of the staff was a bit to much. First they are overly friendly and do everything you want and need (it felt to like too much). Then for check out the atmosphere was more cold and unfriendly. - the price of the beer is a joke. 700 rupee for a beer is way to much. Generally the food and drink prices of the restaurant are to high.

We loved everything about Hotel Lake Shore. The staff were awesome, friendly, kind, and warm. They were extremely attentive to all our needs. Sanjog, the Operations Manager, leads by example, accompanied by an excellent team. Great recommendations. The location is perfect, we spent most of our free time on the balcony - great views of the mountains (and the statue of Shiva!) and the serene lake. The place is not far from the bars and restaurants, but far enough to escape the scene if you need a quiet moment. We're looking forward to coming back very soon. Thank you, Sanjog.
