The hotel itself is very nice and the location in terms of shops is good. The staff was very friendly and changed our rooms after the first day due to the extreme noise levels next to the hotel. The breakfast is great and the restaurant had very good food. The fact that it is in front of the lake is also really beautiful.

There is an amusement park next to the hotel, so forget relaxing, as the noise levels are obnoxious. I hope it was only because it was festival season, otherwise, it is very bizarre for the hotel to be inundated with such horrible noise. Thankfully the noise shuts off after 10 pm but it is not a place where you can stay during the day if you are hoping for a calm time.

MUST READ IF YOU ARE STAYING POKHARA LAKESIDE I had an absolutely fantastic stay at Majestic Lakefront Hotel. Even before I arrived, the manager Rozenna helped me to book a flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara that was showing as sold out online. Then, from the moment I arrived, she greeted me with a warm smile and made sure everything I needed was taken care of. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and at home. Every single team member was warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. They greeted me with a smile each day and were eager to help with anything I needed, creating an atmosphere that felt more like staying with family than at a hotel. Krishna, who oversees The Grounds Restaurant, ensured that each dining experience was flawless. I typically don’t eat many meals at hotel restaurants, but this one was exceptional. The Butter Masala with Naan Bread was the best in town, and they also served a healthy Quinoa and Avocado salad that tasted just like something I’d make at home. The lakefront location is truly unbeatable! It’s close to everything, so I was able to easily walk along the lake every day and return to a comfortable nice place and with a swimming pool to cool off in after walking around all day. The area is lively, with the amusement park next door adding an exciting vibe, yet it's still quiet enough for a restful night's sleep—just perfect. Personally, I loved hearing the sounds of everyone enjoying themselves nearby. And listening to the live music from my balcony in the evening made my stay feel even more special. The rooms were impeccably clean, tastefully decorated, and had all the comforts I could ask for. I felt right at home in my room and looked forward to returning each evening. Oh and the WIFI is very fast, something I need as I am working remotely. Thank you, to everyone at Majestic Lakefront, for such a memorable stay.

Everything was perfect

-The breakfast and the staffs were excellent and hard-working. We are early birds and saw some staffs working in the early hours and in the evening still see them working. -The front desk ladies also were great and very accommodating and helpful throughout our stay - the pool is excellent but gets busy at times - access to the lake front walkway allowing evening walk was perfect

- the bath towels were aged and while clean but with marks which was not pleasant 😕 - the noise at night due to the amusement park nearby and sometimes restaurant music loud - the tour facility in the reception while very convenient, but not negotiable with the pricing. We found much lower deals outside

Our recent stay at Majestic Lakefront in the breathtaking city of Pokhara, Nepal, was nothing short of extraordinary. Her genuine smiles and attentive nature made us feel right at home, setting the tone for an unforgettable experience. The Food & Beverage Team, headed by the talented Krishna, went above and beyond in making our dining experiences truly memorable. Each meal was a delightful journey of flavors, and we were consistently impressed by the creativity and skill displayed by the kitchen staff. The service from the bar staff and waiters was equally stellar; they were attentive without being intrusive and always had recommendations that did not disappoint. Every drink and dish was served with pride, which made our culinary experiences all the more enjoyable. We also want to give a special shoutout to the dedicated team at Ray's Cafe. Their cheerful demeanor and delicious offerings made it a perfect spot to unwind while enjoying the gorgeous views of the lake. Overall, our stay at Majestic Lakefront was a perfect blend of relaxation and rejuvenation. The beautiful surroundings, combined with the exceptional service from every staff member we encountered, made for a truly magical getaway. Value for money. Located at the heart of the city with modern amenities. Besides Phewa lake and 5 minutes walking distance from the boating station. Surrounded by multiple food courts and options for having literally anything. Above all very courteous staff, delicious food and well maintained property. I have reviewed multiple previous reviews who have complained about noises from the next door fun park. However, it was not an issue for me or my family as we didn't feel it was troublesome while being in a closed room with AC on. But for someone looking for complete solitude at the lap of nature it could be an issue.

Absence of lift which makes it very difficult for the senior citizens to climb up to the second floor. Though I was confirmed and charged for a bigger vehicle (HiAce) for Airport drop off, a small vehicle was provided for Airport drop which was extremely inconvenient for seven of us to travel together.

The hotel was in great position by the Lakeside. Staff were extremely helpful.

Unfortunately, the hotel whilst in a great Lakeside position was next to Disneyworld Resort. I had not spotted this during the booking process or more accurately had not realised the effect of that. The noise during the evening from screaming families enjoying the rides was horrendously loud and made use of our balcony for a quiet sit down or read impossible. During the day no problem. We had planned to stay for a number of days but checked out after the first night. The staff were absolutely fantastic about it and fully understood. Such a pity because overall everything else about the hotel was fantastic.

The hotel is ideally located, almost adjoining the Pokhara Lake and opening into a broad lakeside promenade. Sumptuous English and Indian breakfast. Pleasant indoor and outdoor veg and non-veg restaurant with bar. My special word of appreciation for Mr Krishna, who is not only a very hospitable Restaurant Manager but also the go-to person for every assistance the traveller may have. Clean, well-maintained rooms with modern fittings. Some rooms have balconies overlooking the nice swimming pool. Over all, good value for money.

There is an amusement park nearby, with a giant Ferris wheel full of noisy children. Quite expected in a tourist town, but may unsettle a finicky tourist.

We stayed at this property for 4 nights. It is a beautiful property. Caring for their guests is the primary motto! We were upgraded to a better room on arrival! The hospitality of the staff is something that needs a special mention in the review! Ms. Anju and Mr. Ayush took very good care of us and helped us plan a lot of activities and things to do over the course of our trip here! The swimming pool of the property was under maintenance for the entire duration of our stay here. It would have been better had the property communicated that to us earlier as we could plan better. However Mr. Ayush gave us a very good discount on the spa to cover up for this issue. A special mention needs to be given to the manager (Mr. Krishna) of the restaurant, The Grounds. We had special dietary requirements of Pure Veegtarian JAIN food and we were beyond delighted by the efforts and options and variety of foods served to us by the restaurant. Mr. Krishna took great efforts in understanding our requirements and went above and beyond to provide us an excellent experience!!! This property has a great location with direct access to the lake! A must visit for anyone visiting Pokhara!

This hotel seems to be one of the only hotels that are right on the lakefront - the restaurant is right on the lakefront trail. The grounds are beautiful with grass, palm trees and flowers, unlike most hotels in the area that are in the bustling city.

Since the hotel is right on the lakefront walkway, the nightlife noise level is pretty substantial until 10 pm or so. The hotel is next to an amusement park and a roller skating rink, and the hotel itself has live music in the outdoor restaurant. The mornings were lovely and peaceful. The screaming at the amusement park starts up at around 2pm, but is intermittent. We stayed at the hotel for five nights and kind of got used to it. Luckily, most of the noise ended at 10pm so it didn’t keep us awake.
