The whole vibe of the hotel exudes cool 😎 All the staff were super friendly and helpful. Housekeeping were amazing, our room was spotless. The breakfast was very tasty using fresh produce. Close to a large array of restaurants and cafes. Was a little out of the centre, we walked everywhere and it would take us about 20/25 mins to reach Dam Square. There are trams and bus stops close by to take you into the centre throughout the day if you don’t want to walk. We Would definitely stay again .

Shower room was small. On the plus side though, it was a private en suite and fully functioning.

- the staff was absolutely lovely ; excellent communication online and offline, lovely attitude, great sense of humour. - the room was great, everything was clean and the unique look of the place definitely added to its charm - perfect location to walk everywhere because it's close to everything - stable WiFi - great breakfast

- the walls are a little thin, so if you're sensitive to noise, that's definitely something to take into account - the stairs are extremely steep ; if you have any kind of handicap, you might want to reconsider your stay, as there is no elevator (You should text them on the app about it though, because I didn't ask if they had anything in place for disabled people)

The hotel's location is right in the heart of Amsterdam. You can easily reach it by bus from the airport in a single ride. From the hotel, you can quickly access all areas of Amsterdam by tram (and if the weather is nice, you can even walk to the Museum Square). There are restaurants from every world cuisine, coffee shops, pubs, breakfast buffets, and most importantly, a market, all nearby. The decoration of the hotel was unique, and especially if you listen to heavy metal or rock music, you will love it here. The hotel had drum-shaped lamps, saxophone lights, a guitar case-shaped makeup mirror and wardrobe, and wall paintings, all of which were very charming. The staff was very friendly and helpful. At the hotel reception, there was a pickup and records, which you could take to your room and enjoy music in a nostalgic way. Since we ate out, I can't comment on the breakfast, but the coffee was good. From the hotel's window, you can enjoy the classic view of Amsterdam and watch the canal. Smoking is not allowed in the hotel, so it didn't have a bad smell. The hotel is located in one of Amsterdam’s classic houses, so it’s a bit small, and the stairs are very steep; if you arrive with large luggage, it might be difficult to carry it up. We stayed in a double room, so we had a private bathroom. In single rooms, guests share a common bathroom, but it was very clean. Our room was cleaned every day, the bed was made, and the towels were replaced. Overall, we were very satisfied and want to thank the entire hotel team. When we visit Amsterdam again, we will definitely choose you again. Best regards.

The hotel had two separate rooms for us, one was a double and the other was a single. The hotel's location is right in the heart of Amsterdam. Great staff, decor and style was cool, hardly saw anyone else around the hotel, shared toilet was barely used by anyone else which was handy, location is excellent - beautiful surrounding area with good shops, cafes, tons of places to eat, tram stop 2 mins along the road.

The rooms (single room 201 and twin room 204) were SO hot, even with a fan on and blocking out all the sun with curtains and an additional sheet. Was very difficult to sleep. The twin room was facing the main street, so there was lots of noise from traffic, trams etc whenever the window was open. Difficult even with earplugs unfortunately.

We loved vibe, very laid back and the music themed decor was awesome. Saw that some of our favourite bands had stayed there and signed the walls. Staff were all very friendly. Breakfast was the cheapest we have had at any hotel in Europe and was perfect - plenty of food, bit of variety, nothing too fancy. Our room was great, cool decor and comfortable beds. It was up four flights of stairs so steep they were almost a ladder (apparently normal here though) which didn't bother us with backpacks but would be a nightmare to lug big suitcases up, so that's something to keep in mind. Location is good super close to tram stops, lots of shops, restaurants and bars nearby and an easy walk into the city centre. Overall, we loved it and plan to come back and stay again.

The hotel was incredibly cool. The location is perfect as it is near the museum district and other cultural facilities (theatres and such), while also next to a lot of bars, clubs and restaurants. It is also right on the edge of central part of the city. The hotel was (rock)music themed and everything helped to bring it all together. The location, the narrow and steep stairs, the fact that you could take a vinyl player from the reception with you to your room and the super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff really made the Amsterdam atmosphere whole. :)

Great location, walkable to all points in the center - very friendly and helpful staff - can't ask for more.

This is a city-center hotel so rooms are small - this was not a problem for me, but it is important to have clear expectations. At this reasonable price for this location, one would expect a small room. There was a fair bit of street noise, so if you are a light sleeper you may encounter issues.

We celebrated our anniversary and the hotel team prepared for us a greeting card with warm wishes and a small gift in memory of the hotel 😊 Each member of the team was friendly and attentive to the guests. The manager of the hotel makes that place special! He made us feel like at home 🤗 you will never regret if you choose this hotel. The room was clean. Towels and toiletries were changed every day. You can also order a delicious breakfast with a reasonable price. This was a very good experience that we want to repeat!❤️
