We simply love Slot Oostende! The staff is so friendly and the entire building has a great vibe. Food is amazing, rooms are extremely comfortable and uniquely decorated. Great location to explore Goes, which is a lovely little town. But...

... even though they've solved the problem with the ringing of the church bells at nighttime (thank you!!), it is still rather loud at night. In the summer time, there is the Kermis (which is loud) and last time there was an extremely loud party going on in the immediate neighborhood and nobody could do anything about it. That's a shame because it is a lovely place and maybe that's to be expected in the middle of a town.

What a really good hotel. We had a reservation for the apartment. This was two blocks away from the main building of the hotel. Really nice location just on the central market place of Goes. A beautiful apartment with all the facilities you need. Two bedrooms. The master with extra toilet and bathroom. The living room was big with a large kitchen. Good view on the market square. The bar and beers and terrace were really nice. You have to try all the beers :)

The breakfast was OK. The croissant and bread were very fresh and good tasting. But I think you need to have local cheeses, hams, yogurt etc. It was just prepacked cheese, ham, and yogurt from whe wholesaler. A missed chance. Not what I suspect from this kind of hotel. This is the only point they need to improve.

Both the internal and external theme or look of the accommodation. The location was especially convenient and in a nice area of town, where there were churches, parks and shops. The main room was great, spacious with a decent-sized bed, and two televisions (one facing the chairs, and the other facing the bed). There was another small room with two more beds, so it catered for at least 4 people. The bathroom was very modern and appealing. The staff were both friendly and helpful, and did everything they could to assist.

The only thing that I would mention is that there is no lift to the accommodation levels, so any luggage needs to be carried upstairs.

We love this place! We stayed for the second time and it was even better than the first time. Slot Oostende has a great atmosphere and really caring and superfriendly staff! The location is great despite the two belfries of the two churches nearby. They managed to convince one of the churches to not sound their bells during nighttime, which is a huge improvement (still they provide earplugs just in case :-)) Our room (Nr. 27) was large and really charming, yet modern. We also highly recommend their restaurant. Greetings to Marvin! Keep up the good work!!

Breakfast is great but comes with a little minus: Since there is not enough space for a buffet, a lot is packaged in plastic (which is not okay in 2023). We would also appreciate organic eggs. Otherwise thumbs up!

Loved the site. In a beautiful spot looking over the church. In the centre. Everything close by. Train station in easy reach. Room warm and comfortable. Shower hot. Beds comfortable. Food was excellent and staff very friendly. Will definitely stay there again

amazing apartment in the heart of the city. very stylish, clean and comfortable. pity we stayed only 1 night. i can imagine it being perfect for a holiday,staycation, or just a city trip. we would definitely come back

nothing. we were not aware that the night we stay coincided with pink Saturday in Goes. we were a bit surprised by the open air concert happening just under the window, but it was definitely a nice surprise. the management even provided earplugs for the noise :)

This is one of the best hotels that I have stayed in. After covering 260+ miles from London this hotel was just what we needed. The room was out of this world, the beds were really comfortable, the room was really spacious. The breakfast was perfect, one of the best I had ever had. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Slot Oostende is a wonderful place to be! It lies in the heart of Goes and the building itself breathes history. The interior design is outstanding! The open air part of the restaurant is also very nice. The staff were very friendly and always helpful. The hotel is next to two churches, which chime every half hour - which is why we liked the fact that the hotel provided earplugs :-) The food in the restaurant was outstanding and we also enjoyed our breakfast: It was presented in a charming wooden box, which was very Corona-compliant. The room was huge and we had our own electric kettle, mini-fridge and a coffee machine. Parking was easy (though not cheap) in the nearby parking garage. We enjoyed our stay a lot!

It was a pity that the lovely restaurant was closed on Sunday and Monday.

The room was awesome! It was designed with customer in mind. The fact that there is a working brewery on the premises and a restaurant serving the beer, makes this place for a beer lover, irresistibly essential! Oh and the people, what an awesome group, helpful and really customer oriented.

Not a thing

We had a weekend away with 5 friends and we booked two larger rooms at the Hotel. The rooms were comfortable, central and really wonderful. The facilities were fantastic and so were the staff. The breakfast was good and I loved the breakfast boxes. I would recommend this Hotel to stay for a weekend away. Just make sure you have ear plugs, though the Hotel does supply them.

I have no complaints about the Hotel, but the church bells on the weekend were a killer. The Hotel is between two churches and the bells chime every hour (on the hour) and once every half hour. Then there is the 8am chime, that offers just a little bit more.... Sunday of course is even better. My bed was the closest to the church bell tower, so my friends said it was not as bad in other rooms. Its nothing to do with the Hotel, but I would suggest you use the ear plugs provided.
