In a nutshell: Super experience! The hotel itself has old atmosphere, but the lobby and the room was very tastefully renovated, with plenty of beautiful green house plants, and elegant interieur. The beds were just amazing. The personnel was the nicest ever: we told them that our son had his birthday the next morning, and they arranged for him an extra surprise with the breakfast: with balloons and cake with a candle :) - and they did not charge anything for it. The breakfast itself was fresh and varied. I especially liked that they prioritize environment protection. The location is very close to the center, and the parking garage is reachable in 2 mins.

The online check-in system is not working very smoothly yet -sending too many messages in email and on whatsapp as well - they also mentioned that it was brand new, so need to get used to it.

amazing hotel, and great stay, cannot fault the hotel and overall experience was good but was overcharged by the receptionist by 87 euros on checkout and asked to write down my card details on a post it note. I found this odd and declined to leave my card details written on the note.

Overcharged my final bill by 87 euros and are yet to refund. Receptionist definitely knew she had overcharged me as she asked me to write my credit card details on a post it note before leaving to which I replied no and thought was a strange request. She then called me a few hours later to say she had overcharged me and could I text her my card details. I declined to share card details over text message, as we all know how easily you can be a victim of fraud these days, gave my bank account details instead but am still waiting for the refund and for the invoices for the rooms/ bills to be sent to me via email which I also asked for at the time. I have messaged the hotel a couple of times to try and sort the refund and my messages are not being replied to.

The hotel is beautiful. Very special architecture and there are green plants everywhere. Really atmospheric and well done. Nice lobby bar with comfortable seats. The rooms were a family room with double and bunk bed and a suite. Family room was great. Lots of space. Internet is fast. The suite is amazing. Great view, comfortable bed and a massive bath tub. The bathroom had a whole wall of green plants and a double shower. All very good. The staff was mostly very friendly and helpful. Location is a short walk from train station and edge of city centre. Plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby. Japanese restaurant in hotel is fantastic.

The beds could be firmer, but that's a personal preference. The breakfast was very limited. Unlike most hotels in Netherlands there was very little choice in food or drinks. Water or orange juice only. The lady working at breakfast one day had zero interest in doing anything to make breakfast a good experience. The coffee machine was not working and she made no effort to fix it. (it needed a button pushed and some milk added). Food was very slow to appear.

The hotel is a few steps from the Centrum of Hilversum, the family room was spacious for 2 adults and 2 kids, had a coffee maker and some games. Lots of windows so bright light could go in. Next to the hotel there is a construction site so in our room there were also disposable ear plugs so we could use them. We got a welcome drinks option which we could take any day of our stay. Breakfast was good and got everything that needs to start your day. The hotel is about 30-60 minutes drive from the locations we went to (Geithorn, Scanes, Volendam, Gauda, Utrecht)

once all the curtains were closed and all the lights were On the room still felt dark. At the shower there was no door so a lot of water splashed out on the floor.

We spent 2 nights and enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere. Upon arrival, we received welcome drinks and later also food recommendations. The room was spacious and clean, equipped with a coffee maker and TV. There was a nice view from the window. The hotel staff was always very friendly and helpful. We also rented bicycles to go for a ride to a nearby nature area (Loosdrecht) - highly recommended! ;) Of course, since it was October, we didn't swim there, but I imagine it must also be pretty amazing to do that in the summer.

The room was very comfortable with a terrific view, and the location, right in the heart of the town is perfect. Staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast on the roof terrace on a sunny morning was the perfect start to the day. The architecture of the hotel is wonderful and recent refurbishments have been really well done.

It would be more convenient to have two keys available for family rooms, especially as you need a key to access the corridor that the room is on. With teenagers coming and going all the time it was a bit of a challenge to keep in mind who had the key!

Very modern and clean hotel and a very nice and big room. Ones we firgured it out parking was also convenient. Nice town with shops and restaurants. Very easy to travel in to Amsterdam by train (20-30 min).

Construction going on just outside our room. A bit confusing with lack of information on parking, both at arrival and at the parking garage. Once we figured it out it worked very good to unload outside the hotel and park in a clean garage nearby. Glad we printed our booking confirmation since the price they said on arrival was higher (we got the price on the confirmation). Not the hotels fault but be observant on that some resturants/shops nearby only take maestro card as payment and some don´t accept cash either (like Dominos) so ask before shopping/ordering.

All the staff members made sure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The hotel itself is an architectural monument. The breakfast served at the lobby was very nice.

The lift was not working reliably, which can be hard for people with difficulties using stairs.

A stylish hotel that is very clean. Very friendly staff that were quite willing to help when we adressed some issues with one of the beds squeeking loudly. Unlimited coffee on the room is a very nice plus. With a supermarket around the corner the fact that any nearby restaurant was closed due to lockdown was not an issue.

While not outdated the room felt a little as if paying attention to the details has been put on the backburner. Squeeky bed, one lightbulb not working and stuff like that. No big issues IMO (this is my second visit and I would definitely visit again next time I visit Hilversum).

Beautiful spacious rooms, clean and comfortable bathroom. The rooms were clean and it was nice to sleep on the beds. Liked the fact they had a coffee machine and a good desk in the room. It was great to work on the computer and get things done.

They could have had better amenities. Have toothpaste and a small brush ready for newcomers, people tend to forget the toothbrush. Have the coffee machine filled with water, so one can pour in a cup directly.
