What a unforgettable experience in staying here. Only us our family one group guest stay that night. Kid loves it, although he has been ill for whole night.. Hotel staff is very nice. My husband and I need to go for a meeting next early morning and kid stays in the restaurant and does his homework until we are back and staff prepares perfect breakfast and let us pack them to go if we can't eat them out. This was one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at!! The town was absolutely adorable and the hotel did not disappoint. We rented 2 rooms and both were beautifully renovated. Comfortable beds, stylish decor, modern bathrooms plus breakfast included! Plus the sense of history as the Old Town Hall was very fun, and well respected by the owners. I cannot fault anything, our stay was absolutely perfect. My only regret is that we only stayed 1 night! Highly recommended, you won’t be disappointed

The room we stayed in was very pretty, like a room from a fairy tale. The bed mattress was very comfortable, and the shower was modern and nice. The breakfast was delicious, and most of all, the hotel manager was very kind and helpful. It only took 15 minutes by car to Breda, so it was good to go Restaurants. Thank you.

We loved Everything...the rooms are so beautiful and well designed. We stayed in the bunker with a private door to outside and everything was perfect to a .(Point) The breakfast was also the highlight of our stay. Our kids loved the place very much. We highly recommend this hidden germ in Netherlands

The self check in is something easy because you can open the doors with your phone but you miss a friendly face when u arrive. Not so much restaurants around

Quirky hotel in a beautiful former town hall building. Rooms are clean and comfortable, breakfast fantastic too. Staff were friendly and allowed us to store our 2x bicycles in the basement which felt safe.

The check in time window is quite small, but to be fair the staff they do seem to offer flexibility if it is required so it's not really an issue.

Beautiful big room with a huge comfy bed, sitting and kitchen area. The location was perfect for us with easy parking. We arrived later than planned on our first night but our apologies gently brushed away, we were welcomed and shown to our room. Breakfast was delicious, and plentiful once we worked out how to use the order form properly (put numbers, not ticks, in the boxes!)! The highlight of breakfast was proper, barista-made coffee served by the friendliest staff imaginable. Thank you Shirley and Kelly!

There were a few very minor issues, none of which would deter us at all from a return visit. Our experience here was overwhelmingly positive. Firstly, our room was beneath the breakfast room, meaning that a lie-in, if you are a light sleeper, could be a challenge. Secondly, there was no light above the kitchen area. We could see that this had been noted before as a couple of magnetic battery-powered lights had been placed on the underside of the lowest shelf, but we couldn't get them to work. Lastly, the safe wasn't fixed down inside the cupboard. The last two issues are easily solved with a bit of DIY and new batteries, and of course we could just choose an upstairs room next time!

Beautiful historic hotel in charming building. The breakfast was really good and the staff very helpful. Size of room was fantastic, very spacious. Good air-conditioning.

It's a drive to find options for dinner.mid-week. It is probably easiest if you can speak Dutch.

The themas rooms. They are self check-in but the emails you receive with how it works, the little noted and follow up text where all you need. Perfectly arranged. Breakfast was good and the staff was incredible.

Thin walls. We had noisy neighbours. But that is not the fault of the hotel.

The property is an old city hall that has been beautifully transformed into a hotel without loosing its charming character. The staff is extremely helpful and very friendly. The room was very well laid out and very comfortable. Although one hears the bell ringing every half hour, it adds to the charm of the building. The owners managed to keep the original city hall chamber for the breakfast room, which makes the stay very interesting and exciting. The surrounding was extremely peaceful and quiet, and with only a 10 minutes drive gets you to the waterfront with some really nice restaurants and local cuisine. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys a good rest in a historic building with friendly staff.

The breakfast was very varied and good, with excellent service. One has to decide in the evening of what you prefer to eat for breakfast, which is great. We only found that the bread was not as nice as the other choices and were missing to try out the local sourdough breads.
