The host was very friendly explaining everything upon arrival. Location is a short walk into town with multiple supermarkets available and other smaller shops. Coffee available in the communal kitchen is far better than normal instant you get in hotel rooms. The room (room 5) was spacious with an attractive vaulted ceiling windows that fully open with great ventilation, and large comfy beds, great for relaxing in after busy days exploring, by far the best bed on our week long trip at multiple hotels.

I found the selection at breakfast limited, more continental than I was expecting (maybe I didn't read the listing though) Only 2 toilet rolls supplied, not clear on where to get more, the reception in only "manned" during office hours. I was caught by surprise by the tourist tax due on departure, although this is buried in the listing.

Lovely large family room with two bedrooms. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the whole hotel had a very friendly vibe about it. The location was great for the centre of Horst, which had several good restaurants. Breakfast was good quality and of the continental variety. The location of the hotel was only 15 minutes away from the theme park Toverland, which was also excellent.

The standard of the continental breakfast was good. The bed was extremely comfortable although the mattress topper did tend to curl up at one corner. The fan in the bedroom proved a godsend with the extremely hot weather. The staff were extremely helpful and the lift when we left to the railway station by the owner was much appreciated.

Our stay was for seven nights and we would like to have seen more variety with the breakfast. Perhaps some cooked items on the menu.

The breakfast was great and the bed was one of the most comfortable I have slept in in a long time!

The stairs to my room were steep. Not a problem for me but I wouldn't advise anyone with mobility problems or very young children to stay in the rooms in that quarter of the building.

We were looking for a bathtub and we found a room with freestanding tub at Hostellerie Horst. The gardens were lovely.

The Dutch staircase leading to the upper level was steep and narrow. It took one trip for each suitcase as you need a hand free to hold the railing.

Excellent location with friendly hosts that were very helpful and luckily for us spoke very good English! The room was very clean and came with everything you could wish for. The breakfast was also excellent, a traditional continental style and I must say thoroughly enjoyable and a great start to the day! Overall a very enjoyable stay and we would highly recommend it.

During our stay the temperature was extremely hot and the pedestal fan provided in the main bedroom wasn't powerful enough to make a difference.

The room was spacious, clean and the most amazing comfortable beds! The breakfast was AWESOME!! It is situated less than 5 minutes walk from town center. Nice parking space on the property. Very friendly hosts.

The Breakfast Room and bedroom were beautifully designed.The bed was very comfortable. It was great having a 2nd door close to the car park.

If you want absolute quiet you need to consider that the rooms adjoin the breakfast room. We kept hearing other guests. It was not great being woken early on a Sunday morning by the girls preparing the breakfast buffet chattering.

Character hotel. Luxury bed. Great shower. Not a rip off for drinks. Breakfast great. Lovely areas both inside and out for sitting and hanging around

Could not close my window so mosquitoes came in - BUT if I had asked I am sure the host would have sorted that out for me. It will not stop me returning.

Very good reception, easy parking, wonderful people who were there and told us what else we can see in this city. Extremely beautiful room and beautiful decoration. Clean room, really bravo to cleanliness in all areas as well as outside, perfect comfortable bed, it also has Netflix but still had a nice program on TV. Rich breakfast and nice. I didn't find anything that wasn't great. The center of this small and beautiful town was in 3 minutes i can say. It has shops for shopping, dining and coffee. As well as nightlife. Very beautiful pension and it is worth going to stay and see this beautiful little town. And a big thumbs up to the management for the staff and for the communication we had before we got to the room until the end of our stay.
