Hotel Bruno is a really fashionable hotel where a lot of thought has gone into the design feel and branding. The style is very contemporary, but with a very human aspect. The location, in the heart of this beautiful old city, is superb.

Whilst we received lots of communication from the proprietors beforehand, our British telephones were not able to access the key technology which the hotel uses. However, after a quick phonecall, Bob met us at the property and brought us some key cards which did the trick.

Hotel Bruno's such a modern, quirky little place: a boutique hotel but less chichi than most places that go under that name, and in a lovely older building. I stayed up on the top floor and my room was absolutely perfect - huge comfortable bed, Italian style shower, a comfortable chair for reading, good light

It wasn't an issue for me, but the staircase is very narrow. If you struggle with stairs or if you have a lot of luggage, book a ground floor room. I also couldn't get in when I arrived but I called the help number and they got me in easily. There was something weird about my phone and the door app. The trick was to turn it horizontal and then it worked.

We arrived at the hotel soaking wet after cycling in the rain. Although the hotel is self check in Francis happened to be at the property and let us in and showed us where we could put our bikes. It was such a relief to be greeted by someone so incredibly helpful. The link system for the key was also great, location was great.

We were not keen on the glass walls for the bathroom.

This was my second stay at hotel Bruno and i really enjoyed it! The room was exceptionally clean, the bed super comfortable. Many people in the reviews complain about the noise, but I actually had 4 peaceful nights of sleep there! I really like this place, will definitely come back.

The water in the shower takes a while to become warm, but that's really not a problem.

The decor is really fun and original. The location is perfect - in the centre, close to a parking, with lots of cafes and shopping around. The beds, pillows and covers are comfortable.

The stairs to the upper rooms are uncomfortable. Tha bathrooms are not really visually or otherwise insulated from the room - for couples it's ok.

We loved how stylish our room was. We got a room 2, on the ground floor, it was spacious! Everything in the room was clean, organised and well put together. It was very convenient that everything was via phone - check in, check out, entering the building and room.

Nice little hotel in the middle of Middelburg. I stayed one night but would have loved to stay more! Room was cozy and confortable. Bed was amazing! Slept really well. The room had lots of light and a desk to work on, which was perfect in my case.

It gets a bit noisy. Isolation is weak (old Dutch house) so every time a car drives in the streets it's like there are no walls. Luckily, the street is not too busy at night. Had a nice night of sleep anyway :) Also the coffee machine is not located in the room but in the "common area" upstairs. I would have preferred it to be in my room in the morning, but that's a very minor comment. Overall, the place is fantastic.

Excellent place. Highly recommended. No reception/personel involved. Just open the front door and room door with (the supplied key on) your phone. Beds are awesome. We stayed in room #1, which is at ground level. Looking over a small terrace from the pub next door. Very cosy and appealing. Remember that tourist tax (less than 3€/person/night) is not included in the booking price.

everything you want is nearby...easy and enough parkingspaces. right on the edge of the citycentre. clean room and what you need is there. easy access to hotel and room worth every euro.

Loved the room- super cute and quirky with all you could need, coffee pods for the machine were a lovely touch. The fridge was also handy! Loved my stay and would return. Neighbourhood was beautiful and it is a lovely place for a quiet break away from the city. Lots to do, see and eat!
