I lost my rucksack en route to checking in at Hotel Bries. The staff member on duty was empathetic and helpful, offering practical advice. The bag was recovered safely. At the end of my stay the staff allowed us to leave luggage after check out so we could visit Kunstmuseum before we left. Flexible and friendly staff! Great location in quiet residential street.

The kitchen set up was difficult to navigate as the microwave was above the kitchen unit. This made it awkward to use the microwave. I had to stand on a chair to access it. This was a minor point.

The room is great for a family, with the kids having their own "room" (the door is transparent, so not full privacy). It had everything we needed for a short stay. The location was great, close to the beaches (walking) and the other attractions of the city. Breakfast was very good, 2 boxes were enough for 2 adults + 2 kids (that eat little). The balcony is also very cut, small, but we spent a sunny afternoon there.

One tiny thing, there was no hand soap in the bathroom, I ended up taking the one from the kitchen. Everything else was really perfect!

The hotel is in a residential area but two blocks away there is a street with shops and restaurants. 10 min walk from Europol. My room was on the ground floor and had a small garden terrace. My impression was that rooms on the upper floor also had terraces. Very good lighting if one wants to work. In addition, enough and well placed plugs for connecting electronic devices. Big bathroom. Bright and modern.

A mat at the door to the terrace would be good, so one does not bring dirt from the terrace into the room. Drawback is lack of parking facilities.

The Bries hotel delivers much more than their promise. The amenities were incredible, the place was super quiet, the bed was one of the best ones I've slept on in my life (it is a very important detail). And the place was so clean that made my staying feel like a paradise (you'll see it for yourself). I'd give them an 11/10 but that's not technically possible :)

Absolutely nothing... If there was anything to improve, they already did before my staying ;)

If you don't want to walk several hundred meters from your car through the parking lot, reception, elevator and corridors, this is the right choice. From car to the room is about 5 meters, really. If you have lot of tools, material and other belongins, it is very advantageous. Capsule coffee machine in the room, fridge... Great! Generous bathroom, comfortable bed.

The hotel does not have any secured parking area. There is only "on street" parking provided by municipality (paid between 13:00 and 24:00 every day). The parking fee has to be paid in parking automat in neighboring street (current day only, following day you must pay again). The closest parking automat was out of order. It would be nice if the hotel provides payment service of the parking (I give them registration plate number, hotel pays the parking and includes it to the invoice for accommodation).

Nicely decorated, clean and very nice bathroom. Not far from tram stop and short walk to the ocean. Kitchen was stocked for simpler cooking. Comfy bed.

I got a room on the ground floor which meant that the blinds had to be closed to avoid people seeing in and that there was some noise from the street. Soundproofing in the building was not great either so I could hear the other guests quite a bit.

My stay was super nice and for super reasonable price! I love the stile of the room and how tidy it was. It’s a lot of space, looks cozy, everything made with care! Even the light left in the room next to bed to not let me entering in the darkness (cause I arrived when it was already dark outside). I find it so sweet! Thank you so much and I would love to come back again!

The room was a little apartment with a microwave, coffee maker and fridge. The bathroom was nice and spacious. There was a handwritten card to welcome me and I really liked the design of the place. It is 5 minutes walking from the sea, a little longer to the beach. Connectivity with public transport is very good and there are plenty of shops around.

I was totally happy with the place:)

In the room was everything I needed for a short stay and even more. I liked that I could check in and out with a digital key. A small personal kitchen with electric cattle, microwave, fridge etc. was a pleasant bonus. I also appreciate that the staff thought of small details such as tea bags and coffee capsules. The hotel is located in a very beautiful neighborhood near the beach which is a cherry on top.

Hotel Bries is in a very nice area situated. Not really far from Scheveningen beach. Also for people with electric cars it is good to know that close to Hotel Bries there are a few charging spots. Parking might be a complicated but Hotel Bries has a wonderful solution for that if you don't use your card everyday. A tram station is also very close, so are bus stops. Use an OV-Chipkaart for trams etc. You can actually buy them in the trams and charge them. What I also liked was the way of communication. Through E-Mail or on the day of our arrival. As a tech-nerd you will like it and I won't spoil anything. :-)

It's not really a dislike, but some of the steps to the upper rooms might be a bit steep. But I am sure that the lovely staff will give you a hand if needed.
