The room was newly decorated and of a high quality (motel was recently impacted by extreme weather and flooding). The bed was warm and comfortable. Late check-in worked smoothly. Staff were friendly and very helpful, giving us a shuttle to the airport when we were ready in the morning, and earlier than the published time of 9am.

This is an issue with airport taxis, not the motel: We arrived at Auckland at 7:30pm and had to make our own way to the Motel as the shuttle had stopped, which we knew. Taxi drivers at airport were unhelpful and did not want to take us as it was a short trip, making a 5-10 minute journey take 45 minutes. A taxi driver directed us to the 38 bus, but as the bus didn't go past the motel and it was dark, the bus driver was worried about our safety so he took us to Mangere City Centre where we had to get the 36 bus that dropped us opposite the motel. Shout out to the bus company and drivers as neither would accept payment from us and the bus stop at the centre was a well lit location and bus company staff were present and very helpful.

It was nice and clean and staff were amazing. Huge thank you for ringing us when our miss 6 left her shoes in the room.

Photo's made the room look bigger than it actually was on the ground floor. Not really an issue that can be controlled but 5am in the morning someone in the next room was having a tantrum up and down the stairs and banging on the wall which freaked out our children who were woken, it was so loud they thought it was one of us adults had fallen on the stairs and was banging for help. Please note non of the above would put us off staying again the staff are awesome which weighs out niggly things by far.

We stayed here after international flight and waiting for domestic flight the next morning. It was far superior to any other airport accommodation we have stayed in was clean and the beds are very comfortable. We had three in our room and it worked very well. Great staff were very accommodating and communicated well And we got a free shuttle to the airport in the morning at 10 am.Shower great. Linen great and will definitely stay there again if we need an airport stopover over. Only five minutes from the airport and $12 for an Uber to get there Thank you so much.

The property was perfect for our group. It had all the amenities we needed & it was the perfect place for space when we wanted our own time. The staff 100%.

There wasn’t much. I think for future reference maybe state that the facility requires noise levels to be at a certain level at certain times. We had a large group who’s music was too loud or our voices, or the laughing. It became a bit ridiculous really especially at a decent time like 6pm! Annoying. We didn’t have breakfast either which was a bummer, no communication on how we were to receive it. Howeverrrr, at the end of the day it is a flight stay or stopover so we did accomodate but realistically albeit the above we did get a few warnings overturned which we are grateful for.

I had a comfortable stay in the 1-bedroom apartment at Auckland Airport Motel. The beds were cozy, and the apartment had everything needed, like a fridge, microwave, TV, and kettle. The two-story layout was convenient, with an open-plan kitchen, dining, and lounge area downstairs, including a single bed, fold-out couch, and bathroom. Upstairs had a bedroom with a queen and single bed, plus air conditioning on both levels. Love the front entry sliding lock as its kid friendly and door cannot be opened without a push of a exit button (Well done) The onsite laundry and free parking were also great perks. Overall, a fantastic option for a convenient airport stay. Location is close to the beach, mangere mountain for nature walks and so many food store, grocery stores too

The only drawback i could think of was the TV had only basic Sky cable rather than a smart TV, so streaming shows online wasn't possible. There were also no cooking facilities, and the toilet and shower were very close together, which may not suit everyone. Despite these, the apartment accommodated my family of four well and provided good comfort and convenience overall.

This place didn't look like much from the outside but I was pleasantly surprised by the facilities and cleanliness of the place. Loved the one bedroom suit we were in. The bedroom upstairs was used by my kids. The beds were comfortable and had enough towels available. The place was very clean just as I like and would expect of motels.

There was only one mirror in the bathroom and no where else. Would suggest one in the room would be nice. Not many hand/tea towels were available. Just one that we found and used. Bit small and compact but didn't mind as the place exceeded my expectation in other areas. The sofa bed was sturdy but creaked every time I moved in bed.

Totally fine for a night before our early morning flight. Nice and close to the airport.

Reasonably priced and super clean, modern facilities. Perfect for the overnight stays. They provided fresh milk and a good selection of tea/coffee. Bed linen pillow sheets were top-shelf luxury type - very pleased with this place. They were quick with their responses and communication. Great service.

Their free airport shuttle operates during limited day hours only - this should be clearly spelt out in their marketing for free shuttle so people with early AM flights are not misled when booking this place. We had to seek an alternative shuttle for our 4am check-in.

The room I stayed in during my trip was spacious and maintained in a excellent condition. The daily cleaning service ensured that the room remained tidy and inviting throughout my stay. Additionally, I appreciated the thoughtful touch of having fresh towels provided every day, adding to the overall comfort of the accommodation. Location-wise, the motel proved to be a convenient choice as it was in close proximity to the airport and relatively near my workplace, making commuting easy. For those who require transportation to and from the airport, the motel offers airport transfer services. It's essential to arrange this service in advance either for arrival or departure, starting at 9 am. However, if you happen to have an early morning flight, alternative arrangements like a taxi would be necessary. The helpful staff at the Motel was more than willing to assist in arranging a taxi, but our particular schedule didn't require this service.

The motel's proximity to the main road is worth considering, particularly for light sleepers. While the spacious and clean room and other amenities were commendable, the potential noise from the nearby traffic might be a concern for some guests.

Generous, dedicated shelf for suitcases (missing or inadequate in many motels), comfortable bed, TV good to watch from both sofa and bed. Very quiet room as requested, away from the street.

Lack of heating and lack of forced ventilation in the bathroom, bathroom door not closing (room 17), poor water pressure in the shower. Lack of marked parking spaces made some other (thoughtless or/and uncaring) quests to park their big vehicles parallel to theirs and neighbouring rooms as vehicles were longer than the width of the rooms.
