Lovely friendly staff who sorted out issues quickly and gave us some milk on arrival to the bach. comfy beds, walking distance to the centre, kids enjoyed pool and pedal carts. Security with barrier and bands. Lots of facilities we didn't use as not camping like laundry, tv room etc.

Waves mean less suitable for young kids but great for surfing. Kitchen could have been a bit cleaner esp shelves in pantry and crockery and glasses needed washing

Lovely apartment with everything you need. I was traveling for work, but two bedrooms is a real bonus if I was traveling with family, so I'd book again for a holiday. Very close to central city for meetings and cafes, shopping, but beach location is great switch off after a busy day. Incredible views and boardwalk within 100 metres of apartment. Great to have kitchen, lovely bathroom, everything very new and very well designed. Top class accommodation and super friendly welcoming staff. The real Gizzy experience.

Everything was great - also everything in city is walking distance from here. Stop by one of the best skateparks in NZ and watch the tricks on way to cafes/restaurants in city or waterfront, or do a great takeout of dumplings or chicken bowl at the food cart next to skatepark. Or go supermarket and cook up local produce - so fresh.

prime location, central to the beach, takeaways & supermarkets, I travelled with my 13 yr. old daughter Top 10 easily kept her entertained & busy & she easily enjoyed it venturing on her own from the pool to the big jumping pillow, games room etc the beach was only a couple steps away, the weather wasn't great, but it didn't stop us having fun and taking in the sights

I especially liked the days staying around camp and there being heaps of things to do, eg. The swimming pool, playground, jumping pillow and basketball court. The kids were entertained for hours! Awesome location too. Having the beach right across the road made it nice and easy as a solo mum of two to go down and enjoy with the kids. All staff members I encountered were all so lovely and accommodating to our needs. We will definitely be back!

Nothing it exceeded all expectations

The space and facilities available were easy and accessible. I was very close to where I needed to get my daughter to for her competition. Staff were all amazing. Keep doing a great job wāhine mā! Greeted with a smile and acknowledged in te reo when I greeted in te reo Māori followed by great service from the cleaning crew with a warm welcoming farewell smile when informed of something minor was broken. Fabulous!! right on beach, the pool is amazing & kids play areas are awesome & pedal carts (hire) were so cool!! We stayed in a very clean spacious 1 bedroom unit. Can't wait to come back. Lovely genuine reception staff & staff.

Only tiny... but in bathroom there was chewing gum stuck under shelf & part of the wall needed a good wipe. Only got x1 shampoo (of the fabulous Huia products) with 3 of us staying.

My friends and I hired one of the houses at the top 10 and it was great. It was homely and had everything you needed. Centrally situated in Gisborne, the beach on your doorstep, a pool and a great basketball court and playground. If you are looking for some place chill to stay with your family in Gisborne this place is worth it.

Close to beach and cafeteria. Located close to venue of my course, walkable. Car park was huge, very pleased with that, sure to get my car in. Shower facilities were appropriate for me, as I use a walking stick. Awesome, having aids in there.

Light switch for sitting room was way on the other side of the room near front door. It would've have been nicer nearer the outside of the bedroom door.

The close proximity to the beach, town centre

Didn't like the grandkid's being told off for doing Manus (jumping in) in the pool when there was no other guests in it. No different than going down the slide and making a splash.

Nice location and facilties, spacious family unit, lots of resources for kids, right next to the beach and park, friendly staff, clean room.

Heard a lot of cars, trucks and motorcycles through the night from the road but not a major.
