It is very accessible. I love the mirror and the hi-tech TV. The plugs by the bed was a treat.

It's not that I didn't like the fact that the floor I was in had a feeling like it was for all Asians. In the four days I was staying there I have not seen a non-Asian on the second floor, I am sure this was just a coincedence. The toilet had a bad smell from the drain. It was a nice idea that the hot water comes every 5 seconds, both to conserve energy and wake me up. But everything else was very clean and you have all the necessities. I was very excited to see the Waikato River as per the reviews only to see the roof 😅. Not that I was having a staycation, but it wouldve been a good plus considering I was staying for 4 days.

I arrived on my birthday and received a little treat in the form of a small plate of cake from the staff members. I didn't catch their names, but it was the female staff members working at around 3:30pm on 12th September. The room itself is what I expect from Ibis (which is a good thing), and offered a good view of the bridge and river that is behind the hotel. Finally, the staff were very quick to respond when, on my first night, another person staying at the hotel thought it would be appropriate to have a phone conversation, with the speaker on, at around 4am. They came up within seconds and told her to go back in her room. Some other hotels don't bother when you complain about this sort of thing and tell you that you need to do it yourself.

I have nothing major to complain about. The service from the bartender on 13th September PM could have been a bit more friendly, but other than that, the whole stay was solid.

Staff excellent, called reception regarding the heating/cooling system in our room and was attended to straight away. Extended checkout without any issues and was accommodated to with a friendly and helpful service from staff. Overall, staff are amazing! Location great, across from the mall & Breakfast was lovely. Also, whoever responds to the email/messages is amazing! Love the inclusiveness of te reo and english! Definitely a 100🙂

Bathroom had a slight smell, not strong enough to be completely uncomfortable but enough to know it was there. No fan in the bathroom I think?

The location was great. Staff were helpful with parking advice given all parks were gone. Decor was nice. Appreciated the complimentary late checkout. Checkin and out was quick and easy. My nigthowl toasted sandwich was yum along with the salad. Grateful to have a printed menu available vs trying QR code one.

The casting from mobile to TV was a rig moral. Could have done with another 2 towels. Water warmth fluctuated in the shower. Was disappointed with the no room service. Only option was to go to reception and collect. While good to have the nightowl menu, I was very surprised about only having 3 options of food. No cubbard to put gears out of sight. Bed was on the hard side. Room was small. Price operated given the feedback provided.

We booked room on line for $229.00 and it also said in red "breakfast included", so we thought that sounded good we will come and stay at the Ibis. We had booked in and paid, and we then checked with the girl at the desk 'do we get our breakfast just over there?.. She told us that breakfast was not included so we were pretty disappointed. We said that we were sure it was included in the price, but she said no it was not, and that was the end of the story. No sorry, or apology - not a great attitude. She just turned away and started typing and that was that. We were not very happy!!

The room was great, very modern & comfortable, had everything we needed for the time we were there.

Car parking was a drama, especially on checkout. Some forward planning on bringing cars over that were due to check out that morning would be a good idea and one of the valets could do with a crash course in customer service after walking away from people when they were trying to talk to him, lucky that the other valet was awesome. Trying to get into find the hotel was interesting when you don't know where the heck you are going and google maps doesn't know either!

The location with regards to the event we were attending was great. Everything was well explained and well laid out by the staff. All staff were kind, obliging and courteous.

Was a little noisy but I live in the country so that is hard to match and I heard an older couple mention they didn’t appreciate reception being on the first floor. I could totally appreciate that if I was getting older and needing to get up stairs with pieces of luggage to check in

I love how everything was clean. I love the big cotton towels, the big comfortable bed, the big sky tv, and how easy it was to access the lift right by the entrance and be up in my room in a flash. The staff were kind and helpful. The buffet breakfast was yummy and the layout of the restaurant was spacious and friendly, overlooking the calm waters of the Waikato River. It was my first time to stay in an Ibis Hotel. Whenever I visited Hamilton I always stayed at Novatel but this one was better in my opinion.

The reception was not on ground level. I got confused. Also the valet parking was full but lucky it was weekend and public parking was free!

I have stayed here twice now and I love the location, restaurant and bar. The rooms are always clean. Staff are very helpful and welcoming. Rooms are clean and in good overall condition. Location is prime. Overall I do reckon to friends and family when they're travelling to Hamilton.

The only things that I would love to improve is a regular update on additional costs, the information I received when I booked wasn't up to date, so when we arrived there were a couple surprises, like an extra bond of over $100 per room if you do not hold a credit card and the parking price being $18 difference. A couple extra towels left in the room with the additional pillows type thing, wouldn't go astray and an actual hand towel not just flannels and a small bar of soap would have been great. All minor details.

Booked a King Bed room with breakfast. Greeted by friendly and helpful staff. Valet parking was easy (cost extra but worth it). Rooms were very tidy, quiet and clean, King bed was awesome, and all amenities provided. Location is superb- 1 minute walk to the Korean buffet restaurant we booked, and 3-5min walk to the casino. Breakfast was very good the next day as well!

Very minor, but the scrambled eggs at the breakfast were not great. Everything else was delicious, and the stay was fantastic.
