Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Great central location in the village and a short distance to wineries of the region. Very clean and comfortable rooms for a small family. As we booked for a cot, the staff introduced beautiful additional details for our bub in the room i.e. extra towels, rubber ducky/bath wash/baby bath/non-slip mat for bath time, a cot with pillow/blankets for bedtime and toy/books to play with. This detail is above and beyond other 5* hotels we've stayed at and we thank the staff for being so thoughtful with that detail.

Room could become quite stuffy and lacked ventilation. We hadn't realised the kitchenette didn't have a stove so we weren't able to sterilise bottles for our baby. Fairly expensive, but appropriate against the region.

This hotel was excellent in every way. Bed was perfect with good quality bedding. Bathroom was immaculate. Ten out of ten for the hotel and room would stay here every time. Location was walking distance to all facilities restaurants and cafe’s.

There was not a thing I did not like about this hotel.All reception staff were professional and helpful. We wanted to watch the All Blacks Ireland game before checking out on Sunday morning. The guy we spoke to on Saturday night said not a problem he would put a note in the system that we would be checking out at 10.30

Everything was really good but if we are being really honest the bed pillows were quite uncomfortable. The sofa bed in the lounge area was a bit creaky & a very obvious sofa bed which probably didn’t reflect the quality of the space. We found everything to be lovely and clean except for in the shower stall there is black mould in the bottom corners & along the bottom of the tiled wall - which is always an “Ick” moment.

Perfect location as we were in town for a concert at Black Barn with quite a large group of friends. However it was ANZAC Day so a lot of the town was not open even in the evening, but the staff were very accommodating letting us have our own Lobby party. Bonus was the Cenotaph is just at the end of the street so attending the service was no hassle.

That we had to leave so soon. Should have stayed for the weekend too.

Lovely boutique hotel in the heart of Havelock North. Easy walking distance to a good range of shops, restaurants and cafes. Hotel parking is secure. Room was nicely appointed, comfortable with thoughtful touches. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Rooms are quite expensive, they seem to increase in price each time I stay, like most else at the moment! Not hotel's fault but the restaurant downstairs, Malo (room service option), is not something we'd recommend. It used to be quite good but we'd suggest trying one of the several other great options nearby. The menu is very limited, on the expensive side, and neither of us enjoyed our meals.

Absolutely fabulous! Havelock North is a quaint little place and a lovely place to explore including boutique shops (although a tad expensive). Lots of things to see close by including wineries, chocolate manufacturers ... may need a car. Great bar and restaurant downstairs. Central to everything. Accommodation was worth the expense; staff were friendly and accommodating.

We had dinner in the hotel restaurant. It was for a large group and a set menu. The food was superb we all loved it. We would stay there again.

We were there with a car club. After arriving we wanted to wash our car but was told they had no tap or hose so our cars had to remain dirty. This is something I think they should rectify.

The staff were very helpful in giving directions and even leading to a local restaurant. The room was well appointed with everything we needed. We were grateful for the laundry! We were able to eat at both Malo and Smith and Sheth. We enjoyed our time there (less than 24 hours) Very much.

The light switch in the bathroom wasn’t by the door. (Our room was the handicap room, but we are not handicapped).

The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient, best customer service I have seen in a while. The room was well set up with everything you need and a decent sized tv

not the hotels fault but the young drunk guys whooping it up, on the balcony in the middle of the night was not ideal otherwise it was very quiet and you couldn't hear the neighboring rooms at all.

Prime location, very comfortable and well appointed

We stayed in room 113 and could hear the noise from the laundry all night which kept my husband awake. We also couldn’t get the UCast to work as when I tried to connect I was given a list of possible connections which seemed to have every TV in the whole hotel so it was impossible to find our one.
