The Loredo Motel is well located in Kaitaia giving easy access to the Far North, Cape Reinga, the ninety mile beach and other attractions. The staff are friendly, and if you’re looking for a reasonably priced stop-over in the area for a day or two, look no further. The Loredo Motel, also boasts a swimming pool, and the well kept complex is in the Spanish hacienda style.

The free WiFi was a little flaky, but hey, a good excuse for not answering emails etc. The choice of restaurants in downtown Kaitaia was disappointing, but there’s a good grocery store nearby.

The motel is clean comfortable well equipped. The room is spacious and generous in size. The staff is very nice and friendly. They have a nice swimming pool and outdoor area for BBQ. The location is great close by there is a pak n save and McDonalds.

The swimming pool has lot of fallen leaves in it so that puts me off to go into the water. And little disappointing that the spa pool is closed during summer which is understandable however it would be relaxing if could soak in the spa in the evening before bed time.

The owners are managing this hotel and they want everyone to feel welcome. They worked hard to make the place neat and presentable. The pool is amazing, I had a few swims and enjoyed it heaps. There is a hot tub and I had a peep at it but did not use it as it was pretty warm outside. This will be great in winter - it's located just adjacent to the pool.

I really have no complaints.

If you’re a couple or a family travelling the rooms have plenty of space for all. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The pool and spa are lovely to just relax in at the end of the day and the surrounding area is pretty quiet so it made for a very relaxing evening was awesome.

If what you’re looking for is a more romantic setting the rooms can be a little much.

The staff is super helpful and friendly! The rooms are big and have all the cooking utilities to ensure a comfortable stay - it remains a proper apartment rather than a room in a motel! Very spacious and comfy! The swimming pool is amazing for the hot days and my child really enjoyed the trampoline! the price is great!

We loved our room it was cozy and inviting, ideal for our family and there was just so much space! The rooms gave us options to which beds we would sleep on, the location was ideal for us to eat out, and the pool was nice for my girls.. Nice quite spot...gateway to the north xo Staff were friendly,especially the reception lady..thankyou

That we couldn't stay longer.

Kenny and Karen were the perfect host.Very friendly,helpful and obliging.Their hospitality was above and beyond.Room was always clean and tidy.Use of laundry was no problem.Willing to drive us to town.Best motel owner’s we’ve ever had.

It was soooooooo clean not dust or anything found , close to the township. Jenny was super cool and she even managed to get us a extra night last minute 😊 , we noticed she restocked out towels and hand towels as I didn't think she would have. Beds were comfy , nice and big , I need one at my own home. Defs worth the amount we paid for. And more.

The drive way maybe :) , it was like driving over the pavement instead of a normal driveway , and maybe the Spa Pool could have been connected aswell , but nothing major 😊

The reception lady was lovely and really understanding, and was accommodating. The unit was perfect size, and was somewhere i couldn't wait to see at the end of an emotional day (due to being up for a funeral). I loved how close it was to the township and everything was right there. Will definitely be returning next time im up :)

1 thing, its not a didnt like, i just wished there was more range of the little sachet hot drinks and a little more of each. And one thing we found hard was there was only a tiny bit of toilet paper on arrival and it was finished that night, the next morning in unit service it wasnt refilled. Otherwise it was good.

Nice and easy clean Double bedroom apartment to stay in, with great and soothing Shower, and easy parking directly outside the Apartment large Double Sized Sliding Door.

Only 1 entry way in and out of the Motel, as the other exterior exit way's gate was padlocked shut.
