I rarely give a 10, but because of the considerate management, this motel deserves nothing less. I was travelling with my mum, who's elderly and doesn't handle stairs well, so when I booked, I left a note requesting a room with separate beds and no stairs. All the twin rooms are apparently on the first floor, so the manager kindly put us in a ground floor suite. It even had a spa! It made for a wonderful stay for both mum and me, and everything about this motel was what we hoped for.

The only problem was that we couldn't work out how to turn off the heater. I ended up having to turn it off with the circuit breaker.

Very nice room & bathroom Super clean and modern 19 minutes walk to centre of town I like the kitchenette had every utensil needed Wi-Fi very fast and stable Sleep quality was excellent Housekeeping staff asked me everyday if I needed anything

Doors & windows are not double glazed...so felt a little flimsy and not so solid

The service at the Bella Vista was amazing. The room was small (as it was only for me for 1 night) but it totally met all my expectations, it was super clean and the bathroom was huge! The water pressure in the shower was so good! The owner was very helpful, friendly and even offered to carry my bags! The location is central Palmerston North (I did get a taxi into town) I was really happy and most impressed - and I also lucked in with a great discounted price.

I honestly found nothing to fault here.

A fair bit of money has been sent modernizing this place, its freshly painted and the beds are new and comfortable.

The rooms are a bit "compact", ok for a single traveler, but a bit of a cramped fit for 2 plus in the standard rooms.

Was just a one night stay but very comfortable and clean and plenty of parking. Fan was appreciated and quiet to sleep with on.

Can't complain about anything really.

It was quiet and peaceful parking was good staff was friendly and if you needed more milk They gave them some out of their fridge I would stay there again If you left early they have a key box in a easy access

Staff friendly and welcoming at check in. Room was warm & cosy, spotlessly clean. The heart pump was a bonus on a cold night. Bed ok, not all that comfortable, but overall is a great motel, and just a short walk to The Square.

We liked the convenience of the location to town and where we needed to go. Good parking available and nice and quiet.

The neighbouring unit had smokers staying so when they were smoking outside we could smell it :(.

It was an upper room and I like upper rooms. I used to come to Palmerston North several years ago and used to stay at the Bella Vista. So it was a time of reminiscing. It was a wonderful flashback.

There was nothing to not like about. It was a wonder time. It was cooler and there was a light cool breeze. I went for a brief walk and it was simply wonderful. In the past I used to order breakfast but breakfast was not available this time around because of the restrictions brought about by Covid-19 I think.

Location was great, just a short walk to food or booze or shopping. Spacious rooms with plenty of extra pillows, blankets and towels. Bed was very very comfy.
