We booked our room at the last minute and ended up liking it, and the location on Wharf Street, just a block up from Tauranga’s eat street. Our room was on the ground floor of the two level Motel, and was fairly clean. We did feel the necessity to wash glasses and dishes in the kitchenette before use. It seems previous visitors have been sloppy and inspections are being missed. We were delighted with the size of the room(s). One large bed in the main room, and a second bed room with two singles! The bathroom was also very large. The owner/host Tui is the real superstar of this location. Every question or request was seen to immediately, as well as being very kind and good to talk to. I noticed some nefarious behavior of non-residents parked in the lot after hours, and she showed me the almost completed installation of an electric gate that will stop entry. We stayed in November 2024, so the gate is likely activated by now. This is a very walkable location, and Tauranga is a pretty town to explore.

Very comfortable, clean motel in a great location...close to restaurants, bars & shops. Very quiet efficient heat pump and nice having the spa bath. I would stay again for business.

The microwave didn't work and I had to revert to the bench top elements which took a very long time to get warm. When I reported the microwave in the morning, they said it would be replaced immediately.

Location location location. Within 2 blocks of the beach, restaurants, shops etc. Lovely hosts very helpful and friendly. The room was comfy and clean. Free parking was a bonus. We would stay again.

There was nothing really that we didn't like about the place or the owner. It's not the latest or greatest but the owner and location made for a very nice stay.

The owners were super hospitable and friendly. We had a month old baby and they made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. They also gave us great recommendations of what we could do in the area. Room was very spacious, great location, good shower. They also do a laundry service which was fast, and easy parking.

12 minutes away from Mt Manganui, this motel is perfect for a weekend get away. We booked a room last minute and John was extremely helpful throughout the process. He followed up with us at each step and made sure that our booking was confirmed. Even though we checked in at 11pm at night, he made the process very smooth and easy for us. The place was clean and tidy with all the amenities you can ask for.

Lovely welcome by staff with pleasant conversation. Set in a quiet area. 2min walk to the wharf and surrounding eateries with nice walkways. Close to all amenities including the venue we were down there for. Great accom, would defs book again

Very central location, so close to the waterfront and cafes and restaurants. Easy drive to Tauranga highlights. The new Tauranga playground an easy 5 minute walk. Staff were great and place was very clean.

The room was tidy and clean and smelt fresh. The service was over and above. We were also referred to a lovely restaurant down the road, Dumpling Delight, 90m walk down the road. Was a beautiful experience.

Everything was fantastic.

Right in the heart of the city centre. Could not get any closer if we tried. Staff were super friendly and welcoming. Exceptional place to stay. Highly recommended and will 100% be back to stay.

Nice hotel. Very kind and helpful owners. Amazing location. 3min walk to the waterfront/shops/food! Room had sky with all channels which we were stoked about. Spa bath was great aswell after a long day swimming. Our kids were not supposed to come with us but due to covid 19 we changed our plans and decided to bring our kids last minute, owners were very helpful and let them come too. Owner also washed and dried our clothes for $12 and bought them back to our door when they were done. Thank you 🤍

There was a foul smell outside. Sewage type of smell.
