Both leather couches had lost their support, so were not comfortable to sit on. The meal I had, prawn pasta, was a disaster, it was totally awash in it's own juices and had been spilt at some stage, due I expect to the temperature of the juices. Too hot to eat. I had never had that particular meal before and thought I'd try it, never again. Other than that, everything was fine. My wife had the fish and said it was outstanding.

Our stay at Oreti Village Resort was a picturesque retreat, perfectly aligning with our love for skiing. The premier apartment number 1 not only pampered us with stunning lake views directly from our windows but also provided a cozy, well-maintained haven after thrilling days on the slopes. The shaded carport for two and the convenience of on-site EV charging were thoughtful touches that enhanced our experience.

It’s challenging to find a flaw when your expectations are met so beautifully. Perhaps the only downside is that each stay eventually comes to an end!

The location by the lake is just beautiful. We have great views from the room and it was very nice to have balcony facing the lake. In room laundry was a big plus as well. We ate at the on-site restaurant (researvation recommended), and it was very good food at a nice romantic setting, with great lake views as well. Other dinning options are about 15 minutes away, there are many great options. Another plus is that it is closer to the Tongariro Alpine Crossing than from the city of Taupo, therefore we save having to get up super early in order to start our 8-hr hike at 7am.

The furniture is quite out-dated. Carpet looks old as well. The bathrooms are updated but with fairly inexpensive material.

The property overlooks beautiful Lake Taupo. It is very clean very spacious and quiet. We loved waking up in the morning listening to the birds and the view was magnificent. It is about 45 mins from Taupo so it’s not to far, the township of Turangi is only a 10 min drive which has a supermarket, takeaway and petrol station. It is so relaxing and calming! We would definitely stay here again. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The apartment was very spacious with 2 bedrooms and two bathrooms, the beds were very comfortable with electric blankets which is a must in winter! Loved it.

Wonderful, 180 degree view overlooking the lake from room’s deck. Well done plantings/ landscaping on grounds. Very peacefully hanging out on deck. Our 11b unit was fairly large, apartment size. 2 bedrooms/2 baths, open living/kitchen area and large deck. Nice Public, neighborhood beach a short drive down the hill from the property. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Accommodated a late 10 PM check in.

All good. Didn’t check out pool or tennis court. The restaurant not open Monday or Tuesday—the evenings of our stay. Staff suggested alternatives in town. Dinner at The Bridge was pretty decent—better than expected.

Loved the view, absolutely stunning! Walk down to the lake was pleasant, comfortable stay, staff lovely.

Unfortunately someone was above us so we could hear footsteps, noise in general which made it very hard to sleep. It was so peaceful until other people arrived, yet there seem to be vacant units, so was disappointed they put someone above us. Needs some maintenance, kitchen door knobs loose, dirty dishes left in dishwasher from previous people.

Everything was better than we expected: two restrooms (one bathroom/shower, and another with shower). Comfy beds, amazing views, comfy sofas, smart TV with Netflix, and all you need for cooking your own meals, hot drinks, and even complimentary plunger coffee. Restaurant was excellent too, on the higher end, and totally worth it, delicious dishes with a relaxing atmosphere.

We liked everything about it. Looking forward to coming back.

Excellent, quiet location. Apartment well equipped (washer & dryer, microwave, dishwasher etc.). Nice balcony with superb view on the lake.

Housekeeping was below expectations. Only towels are changed (very three days) but no cleaning or emptying of rubbish. While the apartment has two bathrooms, the shower in the ensuite bathroom does not have a real shower tray but the tiles are only lowered, which makes the shower prone to flooding.

The view was amazing, the location was nice, perfect for my young one as she was happy to have 2 beds to choose from and it was really warm in the room and would definitely want to stay there again in Summer

It was a bit frustrating at the restaurant because it took around 20 minutes to be able to order, then another 20 minutes to order drinks, and during the wait my young one didn't even get her beverage and we didn't have any table water either..

Stunning location and lovely layout to property capturing the beautiful view

Wasn’t overly impressed with the restaurant. The setting is beautiful but food was a little bland. Staff all lovely. Also.. swimming pool is spoilt by very heavy railings. I understand this is for safety but it makes the area uninviting and could maybe have been done in a more sympathetic way.
