Great Location in Bergen, just minutes from Bryggen and not too far to walk to the station. Lovely hotel room,, very clean and modern with a good size modern bathroom. A very good choice available for breakfast of both cooked, and continental options. Very happy that we chose this hotel, we would definitely stay here again if we were to return to Bergen. Staff were also very helpful before our arrival in answering a couple of our questions about arrival times and transport options. Fast friendly replies were received.

Nothing, it was all good

Very modern, friendly staff, we had a business room with a very big bathroom, temperature in the bathroom was very hot, I liked it. Breakfast is good, typical continental, very friendly staff and lot of tables, no queues. In the afternoon there is free coffee and tea in the lobby, nice touch. Also in the room free coffee and tea. Room was spacious and modern. We asked for late checkout and we had it for free. Normal checkout is 12.

From outside it does not look nice, inside it is another story. A bit far away, but there is a bus stop in front of it with many buses that go to downtown. Buses are cheap. We liked it especially for the price.

The bed was super comfy! It was like sleeping on a massive cloud. The lobby area was also very nice with comfy seats and sofas. The location was brilliant, right next to Bergenhus and Bryggen. I liked the coffe/tea making facilities in the room too.

It wasn't totally noticeable at first but the room was very dusty: there was dust all over the bathroom door which was noticeable under the light. Made me wonder where else there was dust! I didn't have much interaction with the staff as I only stayed one night. They were polite and courteous, very professional... I wouldn't say friendly!

The hotel staff were friendly engaging and made us feel welcome. The breakfast was second to none probably the best breakfast I have had at a hotel. Freshly cooked, amazing selection and presentation was fantastic, the hotel manager should be rightly proud of the chef and staff. Our room was clean, warm and very quiet and we were overlooking a road but didn't hear a thing. Beds very comfy and fresh linen and we thought it was well priced, great location for the main town

Liked everything. Reception - very welcoming attentive staff who took time to say hello and bye each time I went in/out hotel. Restaurant - really wide range of choice and quality of food. outstanding. no cutting corners here. also good range of drinks. Staff also very attentive. I liked that even for those taking a later breakfast at 9am, there was the same selection of fresh and warm food as for earlier, so the chef kept up great service right to 9.30. Lounge - comfortable inviting area to relax and have a nice (free) coffee. Room - I was in 954. Comfy bed, kettle etc available (for those who like milk in their hot drinks, bring your own as there was only powdered milk). also a little cold fridge area and good safe. Walk-in shower was fab. View over back of hotel to park, mountain, fjord, car park (see pic). Hotel also offers packed lunch at 105NOK. Location - just at the end of Bryggen so great location. 10 mins max walk to harbour. little supermarket is just behind hotel to the right next to church for essentials. I also like that for solo travellers, the hotel doesn’t add on a premium penalty for room bookings! Will defo be back!

Reception (1) think you should promote your packed lunch offer at check in, as I only noticed it in a poster in the lift on my last day, as the notices scrolled round slowly! (2) provide a little map of town centre also at check on would be a nice touch

Perfect location with friendly, helpful staff and wonderful breakfast.

Rooms were small. (And nicely appointed) but that is typical in many European cities.

The location was great. We could just walk to the main attractions in the city especially the main old town of Bryggen. The staff were very friendly in answering all our questions. The breakfast was really delicious and they also had the option of the takeaway starting from 6:30 in the morning. The rooms were clean & beds were comfortable. They also have a luggage storage facility, if needed on the day of checking out, which was helpful for us. Overall a good place to stay and a great place to have breakfast, which was included in the price.

Love the attention the staff given on my booking. I asked for a quiet room on a higher floor with a view preferably and I got that. Given that I had been travelling and arrived super early in the morning, I appreciate that the room was ready for me to check-in earlier so thank you for that. Receptionists were super lovely and helpful, room is good size and clean, Bed is comfortable. The lobby is cute, lots of choices for breakfast. Location is a bit of distance away from the central so it is nice to be away from the major crowds but you still have shops around.

Nothing. But if you are only staying for one night and are planning to take the train early in the morning, i would prefer to stay closer in the central. Thon is at least 20mins walk to the train station, although there are buses available. I had to take an uber because it was raining heavily.

The staff were all truly amazing. They were all so helpful and knowledgeable. We booked a superior room. It had a beautiful view of the harbour. The bed was super comfortable. The windows opened up the top. It was really warm when we arrived and this was an added advantage. There is a small fridge and safe in the room. There is an iron and ironing board which was very useful. The cleaner was so helpful and friendly. It is located in the old town area of Bryggen. It’s just far enough away to be quiet at night. The Bryggen stop for the Flybusson Airport stop is only a short walk. The bus to the bus station is across the road. It’s a number 12. The supermarket is near St Mary’s Church, behind the hotel. The breakfast is first class. A very large selection is provided and topped up. There is a cappuccino machine to make your own. There is a secure luggage storage area and a lovely lounge with coffee machine where you can wait.

There were no drawers for clothes and few hooks to hang towels on.

This hotel is special, from the moment you walk in the door and the genuine greeting from the staff at reception, you are made feel very welcome. The hotel's location is perfect, in the centre of Bryggen, and within walking distance from the train station, (as I had taken the scenic train journey from Oslo), and a 5 minute walk to the fjord cruise ship. The buffet breakfast was fantastic too, and a member of staff was on hand to help any guests needing assistance. My room was spacious and nicely decorated with a large bathroom and shower area. The bed, pillows, and bed linen were so comfortable that I had the best 2 nights sleep. I only wished I was staying longer than 2 nights.
