A lovely hotel in the centre of Molde where even though the building may be old, the rooms are pretty up to date with large flatscreen TV etc. Lady at the check in was also friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a very good spread of items, usually when I think of breakfasts at European hotels of such standard, it is a limited Continental selection. Here there is a waffle station, numerous juices, various breads & bakes and some hot items. We enjoyed the complimentary hot drinks available from the machine at the reception too.

Maybe the only negative was the shower inside the bathtub which is always a bit inconvenient. And o, the hotel is not by the water edge for better views?

Scandic Alexandra Molde is in front of mountain Molde Panorama ! In 2' you can find places to walk by the sea or up to the hill with fantastic view on all the nountains. From my room I was looking all the Molde Panorama mountains ! The Receptionists were always available to help you if you needed something. The room was very clean, and moderne ! The bathroom also very clean and moderne ! IThere was a small table in my room if I wanted to do office work. Also the breakfast was very very good. You could choise from a great variety of things. Fruits, salade, cheeses, fishes , etc and very good quality ! Realy value for many ! The personnel also smily , very important too .I highly recomended if you want to rest in a nice peaceful environment and have the path for hikking just outside the Hotel ! Thank you Scandic Alexandra Molde for this marvelous experience ! When I visit again beautiful Molde I will come and stay at you ! keep this high level of services with smily personnel ! Maria

Receptionist was welcoming and helpful. Directed me to the free public parking which is right next door to the hotel. There is unloading space in front of the hotel where you can park temporarily if you need to go in and check exactly where it is. Room was fantastic, especially for the price (not sure if I was upgraded but had a 'business' room with sofa and chairs, balcony and view over the harbour). Breakfast was excellent, plenty of hot and cold choices.

The location in the city centre, the always kind and helpful staff, an unexpected upgrade to a large room with a fantastic view over the fjord and the Panorama, the cleanliness, the exceptional Scandic extra fresh breakfast buffet with so many choices of foods and drinks, all you can eat, as much as you want, the comfortable working space in the room, a good and free WiFi, the quietness even though there were many guests in the hotel at times, the little hotel "shop" where you can buy some food (free hot drinks are offered). This hotel is also very environment friendly. The lifts have always worked during my stay, which I really appreciated as the room was on the 4th floor. A very good stay in a place to recommend.

The guests don't have any access to a laundry room. I think it would be an expected service in such a large hotel with so many rooms.

The Scandic Alexandra is a functional hotel which does what it promises. Rooms are large, breakfast is good and extensive. Location is in the centre of the town in walking distance of all restaurants, shops and bars and the dock of large cruiseships and the Hurtigruten across the street.

The balcony floor is not really clean.

The hotel is clean. We have fantastic view on the river from the balcony. Breakfast is very good. There are salad and snacks for sales at the lobby.

Parking is not for free. There are free parking places nearby, but all occupied when we arrive (this is not the fault of the hotel). The chairs at breakfast are very heavy wooden chairs and everyone makes big noises when moving in and out. Suggest to change the chairs.

Right on the water by the cruise ships and stadium. Great location for walking around downtown. Free coffee in lobby for guests. Parking in a garage. Balcony overlooking.water. great included breakfast buffet.

Our room hadn't been cleaned when we arrived so we had to tell them and wait 15 minutes for them to clean it. We arrived later in the evening so this was disappointing.

The breakfast was perfect with many choices. The view was interesting even with the cruise ships! Our room was comfortable and clean.

We had difficulty with parking our car overnight and did not understand the signs. We received a parking ticket!

Spacious room, very clean bathroom with several amenities, like body lotion, hair conditioner, etc. The breakfast was also very nice with plenty of options. The hotel is very centrally located in Molde.

The balcony, even though it had a nice view to the port, wasn't as well handled as the room. I think some small upgrades would make is more pleasant to sit outside.

The room is spacious and with a balcony facing the sea ,sofa and a table in room is a plus , multiple sockets for charging of electric devices much more convenient.

Requested a twin bed room at booking, confirmed on checking in , but still got a double bed room! had to go back to reception and change to another room!
