Great location and plenty of space with a nice view of the beach. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Best asset was its location away from the center - you can still hear electronic dance music on national holidays/some weekend days but it's not too loud in this location.

The unit is on the lower level and sandwiched between two units on the side so if you have louder neighbors they may disturb your peace and tranquility. Our unit also did not have a dishwasher which was a bit of a pain. It's a bit on the pricey end of places to stay as well.

This property was BEAUTIFUL even during the off season with rainy days it was paradise. The staff was incredible and so accommodating and the food was delicious. The pool was fantastic, the view was spectacular, and the wild life was something else! I got to watch a sunrise with a crab, and came back to my room to find a little lizard friend had come in while I kept my door open and took a snooze on my bed. Hermit crabs were a delight to spot by the river area as well, and seashell hunting was delightful! 12/10 will be back again, but with more people!!

Facilities and grounds were very clean. Staff went above and beyond in every aspect - they were exceptional. They were very friendly and hospitable. The swimming pools were clean. The 2 bedroom apartment was a perfect size for 4 people and the kitchen had everything we needed. The view from the unit was beautiful. We were extremely happy with the location. It's at the quiet end of the beach.

The apartment area is shared by owners/renters and the unit behind us had a big dog they let go loose. It defecated by our apartment, came up to our dog who was on a leash (luckily our dog is friendly) and swam in the pool and was play biting/scratching at my partner.

Great location. 10 minute walk from the center so it is quiet enough from the commotion. Beautiful pool and view. Friendly staff

Our kid’s room was with 2 full beds. I would love if the bed will be Queen as we have 4 kids and the bed was small for 2. Would also love it if there will be a bit of light at night when walking to the center on the beach. Our room had see view but also the restaurant table just in front of it, so we couldn’t really open a curtain. Would also like if they had beach towels and a safe

The location right off the beach was great and within walking distance of Playa Venao. Breakfast was good and staff was excellent.

I had the largest room except it was attached to the lobby. There was empty space where there could have been a table, chairs or desk. There was only a bed in the room with night stands and dresser and a TV that didn’t work (but I wasn’t there to watch TV). My room was also directly off the walkway where breakfast was served. I don’t blame the hotel for that, simply it was a room that was available. I would have preferred one of the smaller rooms in the separate building over which had a patio and hammock.

I stayed in a king bedroom with an ocean view. The room was clean, spacious, and the bed was comfortable. I enjoyed hearing the birds singing and chirping in the morning along with the sounds of the waves. It was a perfect stay. Everyone on staff is warm, friendly, and offer excellent customer service. The hotel is also away from the liveliness and energy of the music and partying of the other lodgings, which I appreciate.

The restaurant food was a hit or miss. Nothing extraordinary and sometimes lacking in flavor. My stay included breakfast, but I opted out after 2 days. Instead, I just had had coffee and juice majority of the time I was there. I had breakfast in the small-town bakery which is a short walk from the beach. I had dinner the first evening at the hotel and although the fish was wonderful the side rice was so dry. This was just minor thing though.

Friendly staff. Dennis helped us book a private tour to Isla Iguana and whale watching. Large common areas including pool, open lobby, direct beach access. Currently only 12 rooms (though there is future building planned on the property) so it was never crowded at all. Location on the beach is ideal. You're right on the beach, but about a 10 minute walk to the rest of the tiny town. We were glad we were a bit separated when the music was pumping at midnight one night.

I would describe the room as functional, but basic. Not as impressive as the common areas and with some small changes (like a headboard), could feel more upscale and updated. Minimal soundproofing. You can hear the conversation of the people in the next room.

The pool was so relaxing and there was plenty of seating around the pool. The beach was right on the property and was so quiet and secluded. There were lots of wildlife around the hotel and the food was very good. The checkout experience was smooth and easy.

We had a few bugs in our room sadly but only saw them on one night and was able to get rid of them. Maybe spraying the room each day would help keep them away?

It's a beautiful place and perfect to relax. The staff was friendly and there was not much people hanging around the pool. We felt very comfortable. The room was spacious enough, the bed is huge and the pillows are good. We also visited the center of Playa Venao. Eventhough you could walk over the beach, we were lazy and took the car. It's just a 3 minutes drive.

Despite that the place is not so old, we saw here and there what the salty air does to the material like window frame. It's something the hotel has to keep an eye on. But I see them cleaning every day and it was definitely clean.

We upgraded to a 2 BR condo since the king room was not what we were hoping for. The condo was fabulous - the beach was top notch. We enjoyed taking out the kayaks and swimming in the ocean as well as walking the beach. Staff was friendly and accommodating at all times. Loved the restaurant being open all day/evening.

The pool near the condos was extremely warm - not very refreshing but big enough for a work out if the water had been cooler.
