This is a stunning property. The hotel is beautiful- simple and elegant. The location couldn’t be more perfect - right at the central plaza and close to restaurants. The facilities in the hotel were also excellent. Our room was beautiful - overlooking the plaza. It was incredibly comfortable and quiet at night. The food at the hotel is great. An amazing buffet breakfast and a terrific restaurant for dinner. One of the key points of difference in this hotel was the team of people working there. They were all exceptional - from the front desk to the doormen and the team in the restaurant. They were professional and welcoming and delivered great customer service.

Great location direct at the Plaza de Armas. Good breakfast buffet, with lots of variety and also different offering every day. I appreciated the healthy section with detox smoothy and nuts. I liked the outdoor breakfast at the pool terrace. The friendly reception, the fast and uncomplicated check-in and the possibility to book spontaneously and check-in late was great. The courtyard with pool area is nice in total. A gym is available. Common areas with style & a welcome drink is included at the bar.

Pool hours are too limited (10am-6pm). Rooms are a bit worn and feel outdated compared to the beautiful common araes. The 10% service fee should be included transparently in the price from the start as it is not a tax. (I am not speaking of the tax for Peruvian citizens, which I did not have to pay).

The hotel was the star of Trujillo. Located right on the most beautiful square of an otherwise dirty & dusty desert town. Our Suite looked onto the square but had double glazed windows so it was quiet. The king bed was like sleeping on a cloud. We had a nice bathroom and seperate sitting area. My partner used the sauna and steam room ( free) and had an excellent massage too. We ate a dinner in the restaurant and was very satisfied with the food and wine, our waiter Winston was delightful and eager to offer great service. The free voucher for a Pisco sour in the bar was a lovely touch. The pool area & patio was very nice to relax beside. The breakfast was good with lots of fruit , cereal , yoghurt, breads etc and omelettes ( ordered from kitchen ) where very yummy. The staff were excellent in all regards. Especially Jorge who gave us great tips of cafes, how to visit Chan chan and dinner suggestion at El Cellar de Clair was fabulous. Parking was a block and half away.

A couple of bottles of free water in the room each day or access to a water cooler on each floor and jugs would be really nice. The laundry service was excellent but a bit pricey.

The building is a historic landmark, the pool area with the music was my favorite place to relax , the breakfast have plenty of selection and the friendly people Kudos to Winston, Gabriel , Otiniano and Lizana. The Ladies from the front desk are Amazing and very helpful Kudos to Susana Perez Everyone always very helpful and wit a great smile, and we had a great massage with Maira always with her positive vibe. Bar and Music was great ! Also the gentleman in the front door are very polite and helpful. And Thank you to the young lady that clean my room every day You did a great job making sure my room was clean and ready !

The Breakfast excellent, clean, fresh food, excellent customer services, always always asking you if you need anything I'm really happy about breakfast services. Mr. Govea, plus his all team waitress excellent excellent very respectful, Food services excellent and quality food that the best food fresh, excellent presentation **Also the housekeeping very honestly, do not touch or move anything, excellent cleaning, hufff my appreciated and respect for cleaning crew, every where looks clean and needs they are Awesome The from Desk love it the ladies, very respectful Excellent costumer services, Security persons are excellent too

not complained ..but the men at from Desk needs to improve more costumer services a little bit special how you approach to us, but is not bad person he needs to improves again costumer services

Located on the main square of Trujillo. Room was very nice and quite, All of the staff I interacted with spoke excellent English. The breakfast was excellent. A number of good restaurants within easy walking distance.

The location and breakfast were awesome. I have stayed before and I will still be choosing this Hotel for my future visits. Personal are extremely helpful!

Overall I all everything. People that work there are extremely helpful. Is a very nice Hotel. I will recommended to anyone.

Centrally located from the town square. Like (really) all cities in Peru in town square has the historic cathedral, town hall, hotels, restaurants etc. Trujillo's cathedral is beautiful. My room (king size bed booked, ask for #207), had the portico wrap around balcony that you see in the picture on the second floor, was spacious and while not recently updated was clean and unique. Inner courtyard has a pool, didnt try it out (too cold).

It is an older building, likely has had a few renovation campaigns. There is a bit of a mildew smell associated with the age (not uncommon in Peru).

Clean and comfortable room, location was great, right on the plaza and lots of restaurants and shops close by. Good breakfast buffet with lots of choices. All in all a pleasant stay in Trujillo

They didn’t clean the room, found out later that you have to ask for cleaning. Would have been good to have known this in advance

The location on the Plaza was fantastic. The restaurant Paprika was delicious. The breakfast buffet had fruit, eggs, cereal, yogurt coffee, just about anything you could want. They have a pool, which I didn’t because it was too cold.

There was some problems with the shower control, but they came to fix it.
