We checked in earlier than 2 pm, but we were given a temporary Mountain View Room absolutely FREE of charge! WOW! My girlfriend Margie and I were very impressed! EVERYONE, from the following employees: Diane, the Marvellous Manageress(!) Zinnia the S-E-X-Y Supervisor! Trinny, the Fantastic Front Office Clerk! Judith, the Charming Chef! Juvelyn, the H-O-T Housekeeping Head! Esme, the Culinarily Gifted Cook! Paul, the Proud Pinoy Housekeeper! Jonard the Pretty Pinay Housekeeper! Maricris, the Precious Housekeeper! The rooms were both spotlessly clean! The WiFi was upgraded on Saturday 2 nd September 2023, an hour after our arrival! We LOVED the unlimited tea🍵, coffee☕ and juice during breakfast! The bathroom had a hot water💧geyser! Fantastic! The "Seaview Room," number EIGHT actually had a panoramic view of the sea! ALL the employees pay attention to every minute detail! They take pride in their work and they're all trained to respond to guests' needs and solve problems on time, and fulfill the guest's reasonable needs! Amazing staff led by Miss Dazzling Diane! Please keep up the good work! Excellent customer service! We will definitely return to your beautiful hotel! Margie loved the facilities too!

There's really NOTHING NOT to like! I'm impressed that at least ONE hotel in Coron Town is "going the extra mile" to reasonably satisfy their guests' needs! Bravo!

Stayed here for a couple of nights whilst doing some scuba diving. Staff are wonderful and couldn't be any more helpful. We were greeted with a welcome drink after being brought from the airport on a shared shuttle that the hotel arranged for us. The room was decent and perfect for what we needed. The included breakfast is a nice touch and set us up well for a day of diving. Overall great value for money and would recommend as a place to stay in Coron.

The only slight issue is the location, as it is really quite far up a very steep hill, however the hotel has it's own trike and driver to take you down the hill and you can also call to get picked up from town if you want to, which makes the hill a non issue really!

The room was very clean. I had a fast Globe 5g wifi connection in my room. Download speeds averaged 25 - 30 mb/ second. The staff was excellent and very attentive to all my needs. The food at their restaurant was very good and reasonably priced. The staff always said hello sir with a big smile anytime they saw me. All the front desk ladies were very nice. The night guard Arthur even took me to the rooster/cock fights. I had been wanting to see a live rooster fight for a long time. Arthur was great and very helpful and friendly. I had a good time there at the rooster fights.. He also got me a private boat one day. All the employees went out of their way to please me and make my stay very enjoyable. All the maids and cooks were very nice and hospitable to me. The veggie pizza was awesome!! They have a great cook as well. The people who own this place really run it well. I can't think of anything really negative to say about it. The air conditioner and hot water in my room worked great. The hotel provides a free hot and cold water dispenser as well as a good tasting free breakfast with coffee every morning. The place was spotlessly clean. I had a fantastic stay.

Astonished! Thats the only word that I can describe on this hotel. Its not a typical hotel unlike others that when you go out a crowded nor busy streets already. But a chirping of birds, sounding of winds and most of all the breathtaking view of Coron Island. It is also a plus factor the two sunny side eggs on your daily breakfast and unli brewed coffee. Haha 😅 In addition, I would recommend the staff for giving their positive attitude, good vibes and welcoming aura it seems a very genuine behaviour. Truly, an excellent and a quality customer service. I would definitely recommend and stay here again soon! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ -Skie Felisilda

room was great not too small not too large. it was functional. although it may need some chairs for you to sit down. our side was in the so-called "Mountain View" but actually it was the mountain itself (as in less than 5 meters away)...the roadside (which has a fantastic view of Coron bay) has the better side but was already filled up. Next time you book request for the seaside view.

the hotel is located at the middle of Mt. Tapyas...so the road going to the hotel was quite steep and will need strong legs to walk from the main road (Coron-busuanga) which is at the ground level to the hotel site. But the hotel has a very reliable 'tuk-tuk' tricycle -aka'chariot" that will bring and collect you from the hotel or the main road below...so no worries. besides local tricycles (fare =PhP20/pax) can bring you up to the last section of the road going to the hotel (which will be a healthy 5-7 minute walk up)....so all good..

Everything.... sobrang kada kita ng mga staff smin... ngiti pa lang and greetings hindi mapapasmile ka na din. Super accomodation. Sobramg maasikaso... sobrang babait ng mga staff... super. Salamat... worth it ang stay nmin. Salamat and until next time

Amazing stay!! Stunning views, felt super relaxing and peaceful. Amazing friendly staff with big smiles. It is a 2 min tuktuk ride from the bars/restaurants/shops etc, the hotel offer a free tuktuk any time you want it to take you to take or pick you up as it’s on a steep hill - very convenient! Comfy bed, good aircon, nice breakfast (we lived the pancakes). The only thing the hotel is missing is a lounge/comfy area e.g with bean bags where you could chill and have a drink. There is some seats but not super comfy ones. Thank you so much ridge hostel I would recommend you to everyone who stays in Coron! Waking up to the morning sunrise of Coron having breakfast was amazing!!

It wasn’t a big deal but a lounge/comfy area with bean bags and hammocks would have been a great addition!

The Ridge Coron is on a hill behind Coron town, which means you are away from most of the noise and business, which was a real relief for us. They also arrange a free Tuk Tuk to collect you from town and bring you back up the hill, which was much appreciated, It has nice views over Coron and to the sea. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and the food was good.

The rooms are simple and basic, but serve their purpose well. There are also no beaches close by, which is good to know in advance. However, The Ridge do offer cheap scooter rentals and good suggestions on the closest beaches and snorkelling.

The stunning panoramic views of Coron Bay, particularly breathtaking during sunrise and sunset. We loved its location—close to the heart of town but far enough to enjoy peace and quiet away from the bustling noise. The attentive and eager-to-please staff made our stay truly exceptional, going above and beyond to ensure all our needs were met. We arranged our private boat island excursions through the hotel. The guide that we had (DanDan) was excellent. Perhaps limited in English but enough to be understood. We like him most for his attention to details and safety of everyone.

This is not the hotel's fault but we didn't like that we were forced to go to the airport too early for our flight because of the shared van fixed schedules. It is a small airport which doesn't take long to check in. The airport has no air condition and it gets hot inside. There's nothing to do at the airportand we sat there for two and a half hours before our flight. We would have preferred to stay longer at the hotel than sit at the airport.

The staff and facilities were amazing. Staff were extremely friendly and went above and beyond for guests. Every time we walked in we were greeted with multiple hello’s and smiles from everyone. They helped us a lot and even when we had an incident and our tour van didn’t pick us up one of reception called the tour company for us and asked what was happening and to come and get us. There was a free shuttle service to take you to and from town which was awesome as there is a hill from hotel to town. Rooms were clean and nice and a bonus was the fantastic view. We really enjoyed our stay here in Coron.
