The accommodation was pleasantly clean and the facilities provided were nice. The tiny kitchenette was very useful! The bathroom was clean and neat. Water supply was great. The wifi was sufficient. The staff were very welcoming and cheerful. I highly recommend Oriental Zen if you have business at nearby Universities or schools. I also really liked that they provided bottled water, coffee, shampoo, soap, toilet paper everyday without asking for it. That's a big plus for me. :)

My only con is that the aircon takes a lot of time to cool the room. I suggest having a wall fan to speed up the cooling process. Also, the atomizer/humidifier was a great addition, but it kept me awake the first night.

Cleanliness

I just found it to be confronting to be asked a lot of questions by security when I arrived considering I already have submitted the necessary documents prior to checking in. I did not feel it welcoming at all considering I am a paying guest. I appreciate that it is for guests added safety but a bit of training on how to deliver security questions with arriving guests could somehow soften the approach to be more welcoming. At that point I am close to just cancelling my booking, good thing I saw reception and asked me to come in. Take note that this during normal business hours, I felt it is just over the top!

Very comfortable beds, however the pillows are massive and hard, unable to use. Wifi connection was good. Rooms are small but everything you need is in there. Staff is friendly. Close to (korean) restaurants and the shopping mall.

Aircon is very loud. Room with a window but without a view literally means you'll be staring at a shaft of aircon units. On a daily basis you'll get new toothbrushes, tootpaste, shampoo, coffee, 2 small bottles of water and toilet paper - not very sustainable. Price is quite steep for what you get.

the staff are all approachable and was able to meet our requests fast. heaters are working which I really love!!

The location is accessible to the places we needed to go, it's on the map too if we need food deliveries or transport services. Staffs are always nice. They're not strict with visitors. Most of all, the rooms are decent, design is very hotel-like and clean.

The air condition unit this second time stay is not in its best condition. This needs to be repaired or replaced. It needed the aid of electric fan also to have a comfortable sleep. Television is also unfriendly. Giving us a hard time to change/navigate other channels.

Friendly, helpful staff. They tried to help with the problems I mention below but their hands were tied and the blame for misinformation goes down to Booking.con. (not a typo, they are a con and I won't use them again.

I chose this hotel as Booking.con information states it has car parking. It does not unless you are a long term customer and only has a single space. I could park overnight on the road outside the hotel but had to move the car at 7am every morning and drive two streets away and pay PHP100 (£1.50). I had to pick it up again before 5 every evening. The information on Booking.con is very misleading Also, after being told the price I would have to pay I was charged PHP2000 extra at the property after Booking.con told me I would pay no more than PHP8000. A con by someone and I paid. I also upgraded to superior room with a "city view" - my room didn't even have a window. I don't think there's a room in the hotel with a city view. Another con by hotel/Booking.con

Very close to Super Mall. Not too busy compared to other provinces in Manila. The receptionist is very friendly and the security guard is very helpful. The receptionist called us on the phone to make sure we're doing okay. I have so many cousins came to visit me in the hotel approximately maxium of 5 and there was no problem at all from receptionist. Salamat po to Oriental Zen Suites. 💙

The staff was amazing 15/10 very accommodating specially the front guard (the older guard). Internet worked perfectly fine. The room was very clean.

The room was little to small for us because we had many luggage. The bathroom needed maybe a little bit of fixing. But the rest of the room was very clean and beautiful

Good size room and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The shower was cold and the TV and WIFI connection weren't very good.

The hotel itself is very clean and with a nice scent. The interior is stunning, the staff are very accomodating. Value for money. Cannot ask for more.
