We had a great stay at Alonaland Resort. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The grounds are really nice with a beautiful well kept garden, so you can wake up to birds singing. There's also a nice and cold pool. We stayed over New Years and it was the perfect base for a more lively holiday as there's a lot of bars, restaurants and massage options in the area. It's also a great place to use as a base to explore everything Panglao and Bohol has to offer when it comes to water activities as well as mountain and waterfall exploration. We had booked the Deluxe Bungalow which was nice and big with a super comfortable bed. It also had kitchen facilities and a cold fridge, which was nice.

A bit far away from the beach access (15 min walk). No onsite restaurant or breakfast options. New resort is being build just across from Alonaland, so can be a bit noisy (looks like they will be done in the next month or so, so expecting it to be more peaceful). The resort has the 80ies look about it, which we didn't mind as it was a lot cheaper than some of the more modern and fancy resorts.

Daily room cleaning, good WiFi, loads of trees (and mosquitoes), staff on duty nice, basic facilities, hammocks.

The location is not 50m from Alona beach as depicted on the booking.com location map; it's actually across the road. While the resort once had direct access to Alona beach, a new, large resort under construction has obstructed that path. Now, reaching the beach requires a nearly 1km (0.6 mile) walk through Panglao's bustling tourist center, navigating through island hopping tour sellers, massage shops, and traffic noise. The nearby construction is noisy into the night. Additionally, on our last night, there was a party within the resort that lasted into the early hours, resulting in a restless night for us. Shame about the construction site because it must have been a lovely place in an amazing location in the past.

I like it because it is near with restaurants. You can easily pin down the location if you want foodpanda or grab food delivery. You can cook as well in the property. Free use of billiards. Free use of the swimming pool. Staff are so friendly. It's a mix of both worlds. If you want a peaceful environment away from noise and at the same time can chill with your family, this resort is the perfect place. And if you also want the crowd and the noise of Alona's night life, it is also just a few walks away.

I think brownouts are frequent in Panglao, not sure though. It just so happen that during our last day (saturday), we got plenty of power interruptions.

Staffs are very nice and friendly, no communication problem. We booked a bungalow with kitchen in balcony and 2 bedrooms. Kitchen are well equipped, and bathroom is very clean. You can buy the food in "supermarket" in main street, wifi is superb. the whole family were sick and thanks to this bungalow we had a relatively relax trip.

I recommend to bring your own shower gel, and shampoo. Location is not good, the short cut to beach was gone due to new hotel is building in front of us and its not close to beach as it said before. End up we took tuktuk to beach everyday, which is still close and cheap but not convenient.

Very green, refreshing compared to the surrounding area. Staff was very helpful and nice. Rooms were comfortable and large. 10min walk to the beach didn't bother us and we spent the perfect one week!

We were first given a room at the entrance looking over the entrance, despite the garden view choice on booking. The balcony space was very dark and close to the construction site right behind with lots of dust and noise. I complained upon arrival and they immediately changed the room. So better verify the room after booking. Also AC was an old one, couls be improved. Still great value for what it costs.

We have a wonderful stay in the resort,staff are kind and helpful in our needs esp.Joan thank you👍The children enjoyed swimming in the pool and playing billiard.If you want to relax and enjoy your holiday this resort is highly recommended.

The min point is you need to walk about 15 mins.going to the beach everytime or ride in a trycicle.But all in all the resort is great and more than my expectation👍Thank you Alonaland and helpful Joan for giving us good memories for our stay in your resort.

The Resort is great! We wanted to have a calm stay near Alona Beach and that is exactly what we got! The facilities are nice and clean, the bungalow was comfortable and the prices for the rooms are good for what you get. We enjoyed using the Billiard Area and the Pool. The hotel offers some services like Scooter Rental, organizing Transports and a Laundry Service. The prices for these services were reasonable and I did not feel like the hotel tried to sell us extra services which is the case in other hotels that we visited. Overall we had a great stay and I can really recommend the Resort!

For us it wasn't a bis issue but you should be aware that the beach looks closer on Google Maps than it is in reality. You have to walk 10-15 minutes to get to the Main Beach.

Everything. The resort is absolutely beautiful. The grounds are well maintained. Our room was cleaned every day. The staff were helpful with everything from laundry to booking a car for us. We stayed 7 days and enjoyed the pool every day. The location is good with several restaurants close by-just wish the resort across the street didn’t block the access to the beach. Suggestion: the Tip Top store is the best store close by for food and basic needs.

Nothing. It was perfect!

Outdoor kitchen was nice. Bathrooms were nice. Bed was comfortable. Unit was spacious and clean and well thought out. The pool was lovely.

The pillows were too big and hard. I asked if they had any alternatives but there was not. The location was deceiving. So close to the beach yet so far. Beach was 1.5km walk away. A good idea would be to fix the outdoor shower for use by the pool. We also thought there was a dive shop on the premises.

Great location close to main bars and restaurants, but quiet enough to get a good nights sleep! Shower is one of the best we’ve had in the Philippines. Aircon works a dream. Large double bed. Staff were very helpful; we had two large bags, and asked reception if I could leave them at reception prior to check in so we could travel north in Bohol for two days on a moped, which the obliged to do

More/new sunbeds by the pool would be good. Arranging beach access with the opposing hotel would certainly be helpful to save guests from walking 10 minutes around the strip to access the beach
