The pool & spa were excellent - good size & super clean. The accommodation was excellent too -suite was clean and particularly well designed for the traveller - space and racks for luggage, comfortable bed, bathroom/toilet area was spacious whereas in most other accommodation we had in the Phils, the bathroom/toilet areas were not comfortable and extremely cramped. Location was great for us - not in a busy area or close to noise yet close enough to see the nearby sights.

The restaurant was not up to scratch. It was nicely and cleanly set but wholly lacking in atmosphere - extremely quiet so that you could hear every word of the next table's conversation. It would greatly benefit from some background music. Breakfasts were okay but dinner - no. We went to the restaurant for dinner twice - the second time, only out of necessity. We waited 50 minutes each time after ordering. We knew to take a book on the second occasion. Unfortunately for us, apparently the chef was ill while we stayed and his/her replacement left a lot to be desired. The food was just edible except for the Chop Suey style vegetable dish that we just couldn't bring ourselves to eat at all. I hope the food has improved.

We spent seven nights at the Blue Planet in a tri-room, which meant we had one queen-size bed and one single. There were only two of us, so the single bed was great to put our backpacks on. The staff are so professional and friendly. They clean the rooms every day, and they actually iron the sheets and pillow cases – we've not seen that before. If you want to just relax in a quiet place, you do not have to leave the Blue Planet because it has a lovely pool to swim in and a restaurant which has amazing food. If you wish to go on tours, the staff at the front desk will book a taxi for you, or you can rent a scooter and tour on your own.

The only complaint about staying in a tri-room is that the loungers outside our room were very uncomfortable; however, if you book into a deluxe room, you get really nice comfortable loungers and a little table and two chairs outside your room.

What a wonderful place to stay. The staff could not have been nicer. The setting was a little square of paradise, designed and built by someone with a real flair for what looks good and what doesn't. We wanted extra pillows. No problem. We wanted to rent a scooter. No problem. We needed umbrellas on a rainy day. No problem. Whatever we asked for, it was delivered without fuss, with a genuine smile, and with a huge interest in us enjoying our stay. They even took us to the airport, although they had to almost drag me out of the place. Of all the hotels we stayed at over our four weeks, the Blue Planet was the most beautiful. We stayed in a five star hotel on the Boracay seafront, so this isn't faint praise.

There was one thing that I hated, and it was that we had to leave. I found the Blue Planet to be inspirational. I'm coming back to the Philippines one day soon, to build a copycat hotel. If I could make it anyway close to the Blue Planet, I know I'll have done a great job.

The property looked exactly liked the photos. The staff was very friendly and tentative, the food was very tasty, and the room and pool were very relaxing. They offered personal massages and laundry so we did not need to leave the area.

Clean, quiet, friendly helpful staff, nice rooms. We arrived early and Check in time was 3 pm but 4 of our 5 booked rooms were ready before 1 pm.

Check out was too early at 11 am considering our check in on arrival was 3 pm. We were a group and we occupied 5 out of the 10 rooms in the property. We requested check out at 12pm instead of 11 am since we were going to the Tarsier Sanctuary and we might be late. But they declined our request. They could have let us check out an hour later or maybe just one or two rooms so we can freshen up after our trip to the sanctuary and before going to the airport. We were not able to use our senior citizen discounts fully in their restaurants. When we paid for our food orders for 3 days, they only honored one discount card even if there we had 4 discount cards in our group of 7.

Beautifully maintained hotel with a decent-sized room and a pool view. I must say, I was really impressed by the standard of this place. The room was spotlessly clean, and I simply couldn’t find anything wrong with it. The bathroom was also a good size.

I did not like the pillows; they were simply way too hard for me. Also, for some people, it might be an issue that the hotel is a bit far from the main street and beach. It wasn’t a problem for me as we had a car. Also for some bizarre reason, my Revolut card was rejected twice, but I was able to pay the next day, so I’m not sure what the issue was.

The property feels very private and secluded. The property is very close to the airport. They have a 24hour motor bike rental that ranges from smaller to bigger bikes. There is always staff present in the front desk. We landed early at Panglao and we were able to check in 2 rooms for the senior citizens traveling with us around 8:30 AM. We were able to start our day tour of the city at 9:00 AM the van was already there to drive us around. We also had an early trip for the island hopping, they packed us sandwiches to go for breakfast the next day. We had an early flight going back to Clark and although breakfast starts at 7:00 AM, they took our orders at night and were able to serve us at exactly 7:00 AM.

The property is far from Alona Beach and the surrounding area at night is very dark.

Honestly, this was one of my best stays at a hotel -EVER. Although the hotel itself is already superb: the ambience is amazing, the rooms are fun, everything is clean(and they really try their very best), the food was really good (and please try the pineapple juice, I drank way too much haha). What truly made my stay remarkable, was the staff. From the moment I was picked up from the airport, till the moment I was dropped off, I had such a good time. The employees took their time for a conversation, were very polite and sincere,, and the lovely woman from the front desk didn't mind to repeat her answers to my 1000 questions about using a scooter. All I can say here: I absolutely loved my stay.

There was one locked-door connecting two rooms next to each other. One night I could hear the television from the other room, but after a polite knock all was fine :) All other days were no problem.

It's our second time to visit Bohol. We initially booked the same hotel in Tagbilaran when we visited the first time, Thanks that the airport is now in Panglao, we had to let go of our original booking and ended up here in Blue Planet. It was the best decision we made! First impression was that it was very clean. Kimberly greeted us with so much gusto that we forgot about our inconvenience that our flight was delayed 3 hours! She was able to accommodate our questions. We had our welcome drink and was escorted to our room. (It was a plus that they have motorbikes for rent too :) The room smelled so good and fresh. The bathroom as well! All rooms have view of the pool with jacuzzi. I think max is 6ft for the pool. Their restaurant is small but very homey. It's alright since Blue Planet is not a crowded place to stay.They have limited menu but food is sooo tasty! Their free breakfast has choice of Filipino, American, Continental or Fruit bowl. They serve beer (yay!).. Service always come with a smile. The best part I think was the time we arrived late and their restaurant was closed. Rose (I think was her name, so sorry..help in pizza delivery-- the best! They can fetch you at the airport and vice versa. The owners are very friendly - I see where their staff culture is coming from! Happy bosses = happy staff! Everything was perfect! The power outage we experience on our 2nd day was dealt with accordingly. They do have a generator that conked up every now and then in the evening, but the staff was so empathetic and polite, that you'll not mind it at all. Nothing like a good pizza and cold beer can fix!! :)
