On arrival we couldn’t check in so early so we were able to drop in our bags in a stored location, we were then able to go explore for an hour. Reception was so kind and said come back in an hour to check to see if your room is ready. We didn’t expect it to be ready so fast, as we had an early flight but within the hour it was ready, we came back to the hotel and could check in so we were so happy about that. The reception was extremely helpful and answered all question and booked us a 4:30 am taxi for us which was also very great. Room service was excellent and the cleaner also very good! Bar staff was very good, we had the guy serving us most of the time and we can say he was a very great guy, great vibe and made the stay better, not only was he making ordered for downstairs but he also brought the drinks to the room for us. The look of the hotel inside is beautiful, rooms are beautiful and I did ask for a beautiful view out of the window and a bath and they did exceptionally well with this request and we were extremely happy! It is an easy walk anywhere or a small walk for a taxi and is a great location. Inside you do have beautiful rooms, a beautiful chess room that we made the most off, a small restaurant and a gym. We come to this hotel to spend our 7 year anniversary and we loved this hotel and would come back and recommend this to others!

We did have some trouble with the placement of the mirror above the desk, this was because it was placed in a way where the climate control would reflect the light to your eye when you were sleeping, we both did get woken up a few times due to this.

The hotel is in a great location, you can choose whether you want to go on foot because everything is within a 5 to 15 minute walk. Taxi is available next to the hotel with reasonable prices. You can decide to go with a small electric car that will take you to the places you must visit while you are in Krakow. You can also ride through the center with a beautiful white carriage where friendly ladies will drive you as if you were from the royal family. Across the street from the hotel behind the beautiful Synagogue is a small Express store and it is open 24/7 if you need something you can always buy. Hotel Garni exceeded all my expectations, the reception is extremely superior, very friendly and will tell you any information if you ask them. You can arrange a visit to Auschwitz with them, where you will be transported from the hotel and back. If you are leaving early in the morning, tell the reception and they will prepare a lunch box for you. Very good organization regarding going to Auschwitz. The staff in the restaurant is very polite, very professional and smiling. They will talk to you if you want. There is a very good selection of wine and beer. The rooms were very clean and tidy, the towels were changed every day, the bed linen as well if it was a little greasy. The room is spacious and has a wonderful view, you can open the windows yourself. It is very comfortable in terms of the temperature in the room, and you can regulate the ventilation or the heating intensity yourself. The room has absolutely everything you need and it is very peaceful and quiet during the day and overnight, the insulation is superb. The breakfast was delicious and varied, there was never a crowd when we arrived and you could have breakfast from 6:30am. The hotel shines as clean as it is, it has 2 elevators and wonderfully clean toilets on the ground floor.

Only if the pillows were a little fuller it would be perfect.

Property was nicely decorated & in a good location.

There were stains on the carpet which look like it could have been sick. This is not something we would expect from a 4 star hotel and mad us feel quite uncomfortable.

Very good location, calm and beautiful rooms, terrific interior design. Breakfast is awesome! Parking is for extra cost, very tight and uncomfortable garage, difficult to drive out. With a bigger car you will be struggling.

Our room was not cleaned up daily, they forgot about that which is annoying in a 4-star hotel. We ran out of the liquid soap and it was not replaced as the cleaning staff did not visit our room. While our journey was coming up the hotel was trying to block my credit card with the full a amount of our stay. The reason I booked this hotel was that there is no need for pre-payment so this permanent and pushy experiment to block my card pissed me off. I did not come across such a “business practice” before. To block one night is okay, but the full amount?

Room is comfortable stylish and well designed. Finishing details are all present and much appreciated 👍

I booked the only room with a balcony for the sole purpose to get out and smoke a cigarette. However, we learnt that a No Smoking policy is in place even on the balcony outside. We were the only room with access to the balcony and though I saw windows from other rooms facing out on the balcony, we would never smoke with other people's windows open and disturb others. If travellers staying in the room with a balcony are not allowed to use the balcony than remove it from your amenities. To add insult to injury there were no chair/s or table on the balcony. I will never book again at this hotel.

Great location and only about a 10-15 minute walk to the main square (in the snow!). Comfortable bed and pillows, quiet at night, room serviced daily, lovely shower, plugs beside the bed, tea/coffee facilities in the room, fridge in the room, good hairdryer, an easy to use safe, excellent WiFi in the room and foyer, very helpful staff and they were friendly, delicious food with lots of breakfast options (2 different vegetarian hot food options every day), great area for nearby cafes/bars/restaurants also, especially Cytat Cafe very close by which was so interesting, relaxing and a bit quirky

Some light shines out from the bathroom under the door at night that I don’t think can be switched off but it wasn’t too big an issue for me, especially on waking to use the bathroom on the first night it was orienting

Centrally situated on the edge of the Jewish quarter with a 10-min walk to the Old Town. Superb modernist hotel with impeccable service from the staff. Choice of a la carte or bar meals up to 10pm, all reasonably priced. Plenty of traditional Polish restaurants on the doorstep. Breakfast was buffet style and one of the best I’ve had. There was a choice of hot dishes and salads, cold meats, cheeses etc to suit all nationalities. The staff were exceptional. Polite, professional and friendly. Our room was quiet despite overlooking the main road. We could only hear the odd passing tram. It had everything we needed for a 10-day stay. We would definitely stay again should we visit Krakow again. Which we will.

Not enough English speaking channels on the TV besides CNN & Euro-news. The reception staff failed to inform my parents ; which i emailed them 1- 2 times, about the breakfast options at their check in and they did not mention anything to them; ending result my parents thought breakfast was included, they went to the breakfast room and they got stopped of course since it wasn't paid and this made them feel embarrassed and didn't want to go back. Miscommunication really but i specifically asked the reception staff to inform them.

Excellent location, excellent interior design. Although very modern, good use had been made of the old building layout. The staff were all helpful, friendly and smartly dressed. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. My room was very nicely decorated (despite being the standard hotel layout), the bed very comfortable. Everything in the room worked.

A crowd of young men behaved badly. Untidy, self opinionated and completely out of character with the standards of the hotel. They behaved like they owned the place. (maybe they did). It was unfortunate that no one challenged them as it was obvious that other customers were unsettled by their behaviour. A minor point was the level of sound in the breakfast basement. It was loud enough sometimes to make conversation difficult.

We didn't have the breakfast so can't comment on that. The hotel has a lovely reception area and the staff were very welcoming. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was lovely. The staff were very good and booked us a taxi to return to the airport after our stay and we were also able to leave our luggage there. We didn't use the bar or any facilities so can't comment on anything else. Fantastic location if you want to be in the centre of the Jewish Quarter. Close to some lovely restaurants in the square close by - we had lunch in Hummus and Happiness - it was great!

The view from the window was a brick wall so not so good but staying in a city you have to expect to see other buildings I guess. The carpet in the hotel corridors near our room was very strange it looked like some kind of block paving, very odd but obviously, didn't affect our stay at all.
