Clean, friendly and quiet hotel perfectly located by the Lima River in Ponte da Barca. Welcoming staff and lovely design. Nice touch with free water, coffee and parking. My husband loved the breakfast and plus for the fact that the staff kindly let me accompany him although I didn’t have any breakfast.

Could have had duvets instead of just bed sheets for people that prefer sleeping with duvets. The drainage in the sink could be improved as if was quite clogged.

It is the perfect hotel to getaway from the noisy city. Room looks new and fresh, quiet area, comfortable bed. Hotel managers were the best, extremely polite and attentive (thank you again). Spacious parking. Lovely small city around. All in all, will definitely come back for exploring Geres park.

Everything was great. If just being nit-picky, there is a big gate stopper in the middle of the entrance to the parking, mind it if you have slim tyres on your car :)

The rooms are spacious, clean and well stocked. It's location is fantastic right by the River Limia and very close to the bridge. The outside garden is beautiful and inside, there is a nice bar area with a pool table (free to use). It is great value for money and it is one of the best 3 start hotels we have stayed in. The staff are excellent and helpful + multilingual. To top that off, there is even free car parking (outside) too. This is a lovely hotel in a warm friendly town. Highly recommended!

Rooms could have had a kettle.

Everything, Location peaceful and next to the old part of town, river and ancient bridge. Views from the room onto garden and river were outstanding. The staff were very welcoming and looked after our every need. Beautiful hotel, spotlessly clean and very tidy gardens.

Could not fault anything.

The bedroom is very spacious and the bed is very comfortable. Having a bar and parking lot are excellent add-ons. The TV is smart so you can screen mirror your phone for watching whatever you want and the bedroom even features a Bluetooth speaker and a coffee machine.

Thus is a well run 3 star hotel with a friendly helpful staff. the grounds abut the river a very short distance from the Roman bridge. the staff recommended a restaurant where I had a very nice meal.ponte da Barca is a charming small town. definitely visit ponte da Lima but stay here in ponte da Barca you won’t regret it.

the breakfast could be upgraded but there is plenty to eat

The location is fantastic, with beautiful scenery and quaint town. Staff was friendly, Completely remodeled rooms were modern, clean and well appointed. Boutique hotel with high value for money. Good breakfast.

The town is a little hard to get to, but worth the effort.

Everything was outstanding. The only negative was we were not told in advance were to park for check-in so we would know where the free parking was. So we parked in a parking garage down the road and walked to the hotel so we could check-in. Then we were told where we were to park. It would have been nice to know in advance. Otherwise, everything was wonderful.

We paid extra for a garden view room. It was big , and had a huge bed. The view over the garden to the river was lovely. We had drinks from the bar in the garden every evening. Breakfasts were very good, freshly squeezed orange juice, and eggs to order if you wanted.

Car access by the usual route was a problem due to roadworks but the alternative, once they told us, was fine. (Last right just before the bridge, and drive past Poetas Hotel) Noise was not an issue.

good location, free parking, good room size and overall a pleasant hotel

walls were quite thin and we were unlucky to be there in the same time with a large and noisy group, who were very loud the whole night and also did not respect any anti-covid rules on premise. thanks to the staff for offering free breakfast for the inconvenience, but this did not fully compensate the lack of rest and the unpleasant atmosphere created by the loud group.
