Very very well located! Right in front the main church, with an amazing view for the rooms to the street. The space and the bedroom extremely clean, sheets perfect, bed very confortable. It worths a lot going to Estoi to run away from Faro's prices and agitation. Not counting the experience of sleeping in a century house, with a highly beautiful decoration, full of details! And don't forget to take time to enjoy the breakfast, speachless.

The location is excellent: looking onto the church square. The rooms are comfortable, nicely decorated; it feels like being in a proper old school hotel, where you feel like every room is unique and you want to spend time in it (love that there’s only a small TV, for instance). The same goes for the house itself - the living room is cozy and invites to spend time there. The pool area is beautiful as well, with a view on the church tower. Perhaps some more plants or flowers would be good, but that’s just an extra. Everything was super clean, and staff was very friendly and welcoming.

Casa Estoi is so beautiful situated in the centre of an authentic Portuguese village. The breakfast spread was wonderful!

The breakfast was delicious with a bowl of fresh cut fruit, museli, coffe, and some meats, cheese, & breads - perfect for two! The billards table was located in the basement along with a chess board and a bar. The pool was out back but it closed by 7pm so we weren't able to take a dip. It was a really unique and beautiful location with a very friendly and ready-to-help staff.

There was a small comunication error because I didn't receive the messages that the receptionist sent me asking for our arrival time. It was no fault of theirs though.

We only stayed one night but the hotel is very well located, right in the center of the village, and although it does not have its own parking area, you can easily park nearby. The hotel is very charming, it's a beautiful old house, with a distinctive architecture and historical and pleasing interiors and decoration. Our room was very clean and thanks to the AC, we had a good night's sleep in the middle of summer.

The breakfast had very few options and the fresh items were actually warm. The bathroom in our room was a bit outdated and dim, although it worked just fine. The hotel is right next to the village's church, which means you will hear the church's bells every half hour - it didn't bother us, but it can be annoying for someone who doesn't appreciate any noise

Excellent location, super friendly staff. Great ambience. The hotel was kind enough to let us leave our bags with them after we checked out. The staff really went out of their way to help us which we appreciated. The breakfast (served 8am-10am) is nice. The building has so much character and it is amazing to see the furnishings still reflect this. My partner and I most enjoyed the pool table to be honest! For the price, Casa de Estoi cannot be beaten.

We were initially surprised the individual rooms don’t come with a mini fridge BUT there is one by the bar that can be used. In our bedroom there were no plug sockets near the bed (which is to be expected for such an old building that predates electricity). If you want to charge your phone close to you, bring an extension cord.

Staying at this wonderful 'museum' hotel was the highlight of my holiday in Portugal! Jose, the manager, was the best host I have ever encountered. He was very attentive and knowledgeable. He even provided me with vegan ham for breakfast! The breakfast was wonderful and included locally sourced quince jam and honey. The room was spacious, quiet and warm, the bed was very comfortable, the cleanliness was outstanding and I had a superb view from my window to the church across the street. A very atmospheric hotel and village. Although it is only a short journey from Faro, I strongly recommend at least one overnight stay here. I wish I had stayed longer! Absolutely nothing

Very quiet location, very friendly welcome, appropriate pricing (if spruced up, this could be much more upmarket), efficient heating (also in bathroom !), charming old house with some quirks, excellent beds, good wifi, rich, high quality breakfast, easy parking.

Some minor issues with details deserve attention and prevent a better rating (shaving mirror too low, wobbly chair, loose toilet seat, broken waste bin lid, some TV channels garbled, chilly breakfast room and such ...). General wear-and-tear cries for maintenance, probably suffering from low business during the pandemic (the place used to be better, still displays their 9,1 from olden times). Streetside appearance should be freshened up (easily done at almost no expense).

Beautiful period property set in a traditional village setting. This is a unique proof and is untouched from the commercial aspect of tourism. If you are looking for a charming and beautiful place then here is your opportunity!

There isn’t anything that wasn’t appreciated about my stay and or the property.

We loved the host, he was very attentive and answered all the questions we had. The room was very clean and spacious with a working kettle and bath/shower. The outside may make you a bit questionable but the inside is lovely. It has so much personality to it.

The pool was a little dirty, doesn’t seem to be cleaned often so we were hesitant to use it. Other than that no big issues
