Nice charming place in Figueira da Foz, very well located, we could walk everywhere, not only to go to the beach but also to walk through the city center. The staff is very friendly and gave us tips on what to visit. The breakfast was good: there was natural orange juice, bread, fruits, eggs, etc. It was very silent outside which allowed us to sleep well. Even if the room is not very big, there was enough space for 2 people.

As it is an older house very well renovated, you can hear people going up and down the stairs. Otherwise, I don't have any other remark. I highly recommend this place.

You will live in an old townhouse in Figueira da Foz - and there are not too many left. The owners renovated it with love and understanding. As soon as you enter the house you feel welcome. The staff is exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The rooms are decorated elegant and yet modern. There is an "honesty bar", a library, a court yard, the breakfast room is simply wonderful and the breakfast offers more than enough to start a day. And if something is missing the staff will do anything to please you and help. Wow!

There was nothing I didn't like. Really.

The Bachareis charming house was so unique and very charming! Ines was a lovely host and guide and spent time explaining everything about the house including its history and all the amenities. The breakfast was good. No complaints. The room was quiet and we slept great. The bathroom is small but it was fine. I can’t imagine staying in the location for more than one night but for us it was a nice stop on our way to Porto.

The history of the home and modern renovations make this hotel a must book when coming to Foz. While there are steeps steps up to you apartment it’s well worth the effort. The bedding was comfortable and the staff delightful. Daily breakfast was very European with an assortment meats cheese and pastry. Our host Cristina and Inez are wonderful.

The only critique I would have is that our room was not very soundproof, so we could hear our neighbours all round us talking quite often. Apart from that, it was a truly wonderful stay! And we will definitely be staying again ☺️

The friendliness of Inès ❤️. It was exceptionally clean and tidy. You instantly felt at home and we slept like babies. The breakfast was all home made and a large choice. I would recommend taking the apartments on the last floor, they were beautiful and big. I would be back and recommend to everyone.

Breakfast was good, they made eggs and bacon cooked to order, plus had a variety of other items. I was also able to check in early. I forget her name, but the woman who checked me in was very nice and gave me info about the city. Room was clean and a good size. Location was about 10-15min walk from the bus station and the beach

Incredibly kind and friendly hosts, Cristina and Inés. We have the best impressions of the lovely town Figueira da Foz, opened up to us so soulful and cozy thanks to this place. Cristina told us about the history of the hotel, gave us really useful recommendations and when checkout, made a photo of me and my husband (I always appreciate this opportunity). Beautiful design, great breakfast, perfectly clean charming house where we would gladly come back. It feels like everything is made with love in this hotel.

Our 5th stay at this glorious “Home Away from Home”! Inês and Cristina welcome us always with warmth and friendship. Our room comfortable and cosy. Breakfast a delight for all the senses with many local products and really sets you up for your day ahead, exploring. Many good restaurants are with walking distance. We shall be staying again soon.

Beautiful, historic building, exquisitely restored in a way that highlights its history and and charisma. Very well decorated, quite interesting details. The breakfast was brilliant, very complete - we could see the effort to have the freshest, local articles. Amazing! Very helpful, friendly staff - you definitely feel at home and welcome. Unfortunately, not very good sound proofing in the room, but neighbors were actually not very loud. So a minor detail, in this case, but I can see it being problematic if the house is full.
