Location, and grounds attention to detail of staff

Jacuzzi not working and clearly had not for sometime only booked 4 days before arriving and was advertised on their direct web site, they should have said especially for November stay as in door facilities more important late in the season pet hate of mine , really puts me off recommending. No shop near by (which i knew when i booked)

Hotel facilities and location are excellent. Apartments are well equipped and this is our second visit. The staff are very nice and friendly but there isn't enough of them. Spa is excellent and so is kids club. Our daughter loves the pools and we leave the easy access to nearby beach within 15mins walk

More staff are required in the hotel bar and they need to have a drinks service at the sand pool in July a key holiday month.

Service has meaningfully improved since new ownership. The position is amazing. Will be even better once the construction in the area will be settled

Nice resort with a lot of activities offered (spa, golf, tennis etc.) and nice pool areas. Breakfast was good. Great location if you want to take a walk on the cliffs around Ponte da Piedade.

Facilities are a bit dated overall. The price you’re paying is only worth it if you make good use of all facilities and activities offered. Location is somewhat outside of the city center (just something to be aware of)

This is our 2nd visit and again it did not disappoint. The main pool is a gorgeous as ever. The apartment was of a high standard and had everything that we needed. The bed was very comfortable. Cleanliness was of a high standard and the apartment was serviced every day. Excellent service from the staff particularly in the bar and pool area. Love the location - near to Porto do Mos Beach and stunning views. Town centre was easily accessible by taxi/Uber.

There were a lot of very noisy children in the main pool. Not sure why they didn't use the other pool that is more suitable for kids. I am not averse to children on holiday (!!) but as a wellness and spa resort, it was a bit off-putting.

The hotel is in a large complex as it also has villas. It's great to walk around the property as well as along the coast enjoying breathtaking ocean views. The breakfast was buffet style. It had all one could crave for; fresh fruits, cold meats and cheese, smoked salmon, a wonderful bread/pastry selection as well as an egg station for omelettes etc. The room was large and comfortable with a wonderful and spacious bathroom. The spa has a pool that is quieter than the main one.

The main pool is large and full of children running around. The hotel is a bit run down yet, clean and nice.

Very nice, quiet and extremely comfortable resort hotel. Friendly and welcoming staff. Large rooms. 3 different pools allow space for everyone. In fact, the hotel has the best size: not crowded while having lots of facilities. New apartments and villas are being built which might change this.

The closest beach (Canavial) is difficult to reach (must go down a cliff) and the others close (Camilo, Praia de Mós) are too crowded. Not in walking distance to Lagos, a car is needed. The grass in most public places disappeared and the ground is brown.

The food was good. And the people nice and friendly. Lovely place to relax - the view and location beautiful and very special.

There were not enough parasols for sun beds and the fight for a sun bed was ridiculous considering the size of the property. Buy more parasols. Cleaners came in without knocking three times and interrupted us! And prior to midday checkout. Overly keen to clean rooms when guests are in the bedrooms.

Really lovely centre and staff super friendly and helpful Fabulous location for scenery and also accessibility to Lagos

The housekeeping was great when it was done however it runs late so it’s inconvenient when it’s after 4pm and getting back after the day to get ready for early dinner The spa treatment was fabulous however changing and shower area is tiny especially when Spa is fully booked The jacuzzi is the same when Spa fully booked it’s fully occupied and we didn’t get chance to use it which was disappointing The facility could benefit from a second one

Really enjoyed my stay, facilities were good and nearby, nice atmosphere, nice staff.

Just a bit of constructive criticism. The building complex where the gym building needs refreshing on the outside, needs painting/new gates/railings, from the outside the building looks abandoned. The indoor gym is clean and tidy, but the outdoor gym needs new artificial grass and equipment which is a bit dated, The restaurant food had too much shellfish on the menu (many people are sensitive to seafood and wont eat it) and not enough white meat or vegetarian options. Outdoor pool with sand was cold and need heating turned on, we used the main pool instead no bar facilities available at the pool either - we ended up probably disturbing all the retired and empty nesters at the main pool as a result.
