We loved our staying. The hotel is peculiar in its retro style. I hope that if they ever do a refurbishment they can respect its aesthetics and architecture, the colours, and specially the proportions! The room was huge, with high ceilings contrasting with low beds and a beautiful curtain covering the whole window wall. Outside, the quietness of the pool contrasting with the highway right behind it. Could be a David Hockney painting... The staff was lovely, polite and helpful. The indoor pool was the right size and sunny, with clean towels available. The lavish breakfast can be enjoyed in the large veranda from where you can get a glimpse of the golf course.

The only thing I didn't like were those mini croissants. Everything else was of good quality, fresh and well cooked.

Good hotel location, Nice and helpful staff. Very good breakfast buffet. The hotel has seen its good days, but it was well-kept inside. Spacious and clean rooms, well-equipped bathroom. There were always clean towels waiting by the pool, And there's plenty of space on the grass outside by the pool. Despite the location on the main road, outside sounds were not that bothersome at night.

There was no night silence in the hotel, because every night there were noises that made it impossible to sleep. Poorly soundproofed rooms, you can hear every sound and conversations of the guests who lived around you. The same applies to the doors to the rooms, they are hard to close so you had to close them really hard, which resulted in more noise all night long.

Friendly staff. Quite location so slept well. Lovely large comfortable room, very clean. Large beds, two pillows each which is the best thing. Enjoyed the bath/shower combo, great shower. Lovely large towels, and fab to have two each. We would stay here again just because of the towels! Really tasty breakfast with lots of choice, everything was fresh and restocked regularly.

Only one chair to use on the balcony, we had to take turns enjoying the sun. Fridge in the room wasn't the best.

We had a great time at the hotel even the only time we spend at hotel was for shower and sleep. The bed was very comfortable we had a very good night sleep and a good rest. The room was quite big very spacious as well the bathroom. Also the location is good and the staff was very helpful and kind.

Is not that we didn't like it but the breakfast was okay for our taste but had a great variety of fruit cakes and bread also the coffee was really good.

The hotel is very very dated, and needs a revampmfor 4 star hotel! Doesn't feel loved. There is water trickling down walls on -1 level and they put a towel down which looks gross. It smells musty. Under the bed is not vacuumed and feels like carpet needs a revamp. No coffee or tea facilities in room. Right above a busy highway. Not relaxing if that's what looking for. It served our needs.

Very clean, spacy rooms, helpful staff

No kettle in the room, no way to make a cuppa tea, no drinking bottle, no iron and ironing board in the room. When I asked Iron, I was told to use laundry service (fee).The noise from the road was quite high. Shower hand holder and toilet seat were broken.

Property is renovated inside, comfortable stay, hotel is ok. The location is a bit out of the centre so person needs to use bus or taxi. The hotel is by highway which is good to get quickly in and out. There is not much around - restaurants etc. Our room did have view in the other direction so our room so quiet and very comfortable. Breakfast was ok, not superb but standard. We did not use the facilities but it had the pool etc. For the price, I find it good.

It needs further renovations, mainly outside. I would appreciate a minibar filled - at least for water and maybe wine, especially since we did not really catch the restaurant open.

It is an amazing place to stay, good value for the money. Parking provided, delicious breakfast, nice swimming pool, clean rooms all the facilities provided. Highly recommended!

Nothing to complain about, but I was only missing tomatoes at the breakfast (other than that it was perfect!) and there could be more sun loungers at the swimming pool area.

There was a power outage when we arrived which knocked the computer system out so it took a long time before we could get rooms and even longer to get Access keys. Through out the staff were friendly

I extended my stay with Amazonia a week before we got there. Surely they should have allocated the same room for 2 nights but no we had to pack up and move out in the morning putting luggage in storage and unpacking again the same evening. Not much planning from the hotel.
