I liked everything about this hotel - it is nice and neat, I liked the modern style of it, the hotel staff are great people, very polite and helpful. I ordered breakfasts and they were very good. There is a hair dryer in the room. As for hot water for drinks, one can always get it at the reception desk, also the fridge is available for guests (not in the room, but in general, on demand). The hotel is located in the calm and quite district. I recommend it and would gladly stay there again on my future trips to Porto. To my review I also added the photo of the city, taken next to the bridge (it's not the view from the hotel), but the rest of the pictures are from the hotel room, including the view from its window. We booked Star Inn Porto just because needed a place to sleep both nights during the weekend as we had two races in neighbor cities... Hotel is very spacious, staff at the reception was very friendly (the lady gave us some information about the city, transportation and parking), room was nice, clean, had nice view to the city. We didn't have breakfast included but had it on the first day - it was buffet that included some eggs, sausages, lots of bread and pastries, fruits, yogurts, ham/cheese, etc... Hotel has a big free parking and location is ok especially if you're driving.

Don't have any negative points to mention. Everything was great especially since we only were spending nights at the hotel :)

The beds were really comfortable, Breakfast was lovely. The people were really nice. A busstop right in front of the hotel, going directly to the city center was a big plus.

The noice at night. There were people on the hallway talking every night. The walls are quite thin which makes ever sound hearable. Also the curtain are in need of replacement. Too much light coming through

The reception are exceptional and they helped us a lot, they chilled our wine also provided the wine glass and allowed us to sit in reception area to have our own food and drinks. Top marks for the front of house staff

No fridge in the room, especially in summer a fridge is must. No kettle and no complimentary bottle of water which I think doesn’t cost a penny . So overall I am giving good rating because of the staff else this property is six stars only if I consider the facilities of the room

Clean, budget hotel. The staff are very friendly and answer any questions you have at any time. The location is a 45 minute walk from the centre but there is a bus straight outside the hotel reception that takes you there in around 20 minutes for €2.50 each. The room was cleaned almost every day with fresh towels and bedding. The shower was amazing with good pressure and temperature. There is a TV with channels in English including movies and interesting TV shows, cartoons included for kids. If definitely return here.

The lighting is a little dull if you need brighter lights at night but honestly it wasn't a big deal for us.

We stayed here four nights. I highly recommend this hotel for Porto. It is close to the highway which made it very accessible by car. It was not noisy as some other comments made. To the city we just took a taxi as there was four of us. There are cafes near by and restaurants near by. We especially liked the Mother Forks restaurant for dinner. We went there every night. We did not eat breakfast there.

Liked the room size, the breakfast was really good, lots of variety. It was quiet, in decent neighborhood.

The parking area is very dark, needs more lighting. There are men just hanging out in the parking lot, we weren't sure why. But it felt a bit unsafe. Maybe they were smoking, but it would be better to have a designated spot with chairs so that doesn't look like people are about to break into cars.

Very student-dorm vibes, but also highly professional. Perfect for working/coworking. Comfortable, easy to access with bus directly in front of the door. Even if you miss the last one, a second line is 10 minutes away on foot. Quiet neighbourhood. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Great laundry service.

During morning hours the two elevators tend to get a bit crowded.

Great hotel close to the center of Porto. Take an Uber for 5€ and you are in the center of Porto. Comparing to other hotels close to the center, this hotel offers you great facilities, nice rooms and a good price. Totally recommendable. Also they have a huge parking lot for people arriving by car. Don’t recommend driving to downtown due to traffic and expensive parking garages.

Big breakfast selection, busy noisy resturant but it’s got a lot of rooms , location not the best but Uber to the centre was as little as €4 so not a problem . Great base for a great city , would recommend

Only two lifts for a lot of people and the room cards kept “forgetting “ our room so a long trip to get new ones but the staff were great and always there to help .
