We had one of two rooms in the owner's villa, a 15 minute walk into town. So it was a very personal experience, rather than an hotel. Our room and bathroom were spacious, a little dated, but very well kept. Beautifully maintained gardens, and the bonus was the pool which was used twice. We also used the complimentary coffee/tea in the poolside bar where we relaxed, away from our room, especially when wet. Plus we had a private courtyard to sit out in, and a rack to dry swimwear or laundry on. Breakfasts on the owners' terrace were more than ample with delicious home made items, and always some variation to the breakfast contents each day. Hans and Jacqueline put a lot of effort into looking after their guests!

Our hosts Jacqueline and Hans were great. They communicated with us about arrival, gave us lots of ideas of places to visit, and best routes for travelling. I also appreciated that Hans made me bread for breakfast as I am gluten intolerant, a real treat. The house was just outside Silves, but really easy to get into the main town, and it was set up on the hill so the views were lovely. Nice to have a pool to come back to after a busy day out and about, and access to an outside kitchen and bar area.

Lovely, spacious room with ensuite facilities, very clean with friendly hosts. Breakfast was a good selection, served on the upper balcony with views over looking the Silves valley. Lovely pool with mini bar area. Plenty of seating around the pool so you can catch the sun at all times of the day.

There was nothing I didn't like.

The homemade bread and jams were absolutely delicious, and the hosts were very knowledgeable about the local area. The resident dog, Balou, is a wonderful elderly and friendly dog who is always pelased to see guests. Ample parking and lovely poolside areas to sit. Would highly recommend.

Hans and Jaqueline are delightful hosts who did everything to make our stay a success. The accommodation itself was super-clean and comfortable, and the swimming pool and garden were a lovely relaxing place to spend time in. It’s only a 10 minute walk from the house down to Silves for its shops and restaurants, so you do need a car to get there. Hans kingly took us in his car to the coast at a very reasonable price.

Everything was neat and clean, the room and bathroom were spacious. The owners are very friendly and suggested nice things to do/see around the area. The breakfast was great, different kind of (homemade) breads and fruits everyday. Lovely pool and relaxing spots around it. The owners take great care of their property and it shows! We were very happy with our stay :)

Pool. Seating areas. Gave us mugs for tea instead of little glass ones.

Needed a fridge to put water in and soft drinks. Only fridge with drinks to buy in an outside building. In bedroom needs a chest of draws as no where to put things. Bathroom gets very hot as no window or Fan there. Needs a mirror above the table in the room before bathroom. There was no TV but we were not that bothered as not there.

Warm welcome from Jacqueline, Hans and Balou the dog. Comfortable, super clean and spacious room. Tasty homemade breakfast with fruits from the garden. Great pool and outdoor area - a really relaxed environment.

Nothing, it was an amazing stay

Located a little outside of Silves, this property is a relaxing haven. The bedroom we stayed in is large, private and comfortable with a view onto the pool and grounds. the pool area is very nice indeed, overlooking silves with a self service bar and free tea and coffee. The owners were lovely and very accommodating and Balou their King Charles spaniel is delightful. the breakfast was also spot on! we’ll be back!
