The Staff was very friendly. The breakfast, which was included in my room price, was terrific. The location is amazing for hiking, beach, transportation and restaurant/bars. The Mattress was the kind I like - I have a bad back. The room and hotel seem recently renovated, clean and well decorated. The bathtub was phenomenal.

This is no fault of the Hotel. The restaurant across the street on Fri/Sat plays very loud music till 2 am. I would suggest a rear room if you're not up that late in or hanging out at that bar/restaurant.

The breakfast is plentiful, buffet-style, and the staff is kind and helpful. Everything is relatively easy to reach. In most cases, long-distance buses take you to Portela Sintra, where you can take the local train to Lisbon city center in 45 minutes. (the long-distance buses stop in front of the hotel) Cabo de Roca is also easily accessible (40 minutes by bus with 2 transfers - no need to worry, because everyone is helpful! :) The Atlantic Ocean is amazing, magical, the sight and the sound fill you spiritually! I can only recommend the region of Praia de Macas and this hotel to everyone! :)

Oh my goodness. I love everything. The location: right next to the beach, and 1 m from the train station. Staffs are passionate, and love to work there. Room was excellent. No air conditioner, but I did not feel uncomfortable amongst July. Bathroom is equipped with a tub. I enjoyed so much after a long walk on beach. The Wotel served draft beer almost 24 hours at a reasonable price. Breakfast was just wonderful. Laundromat was 3 min walk away serving from 8am to 9 pm. Supermarket is 1 min away open from 8am to 7pm. When you check out, I was even given a departure gift (nata). I will definitely come back when in town.

The staff was super friendly, helping us with everything we asked for, even booking me a surfing lesson, they are 24/7 on the reception. The room is nice, cozy, small but enough for 2 people, clean. The breakfast was superb. There is private free parking right next to the building (they will open it right after calling their number even at night). The location is just perfect for walking on the clifs and looking at the waves, sunsets, surfing, very close to lots of magical beaches like Praia da Ursa and also Cabo da Roca.

Hi, I spent a long weekend in the hotel and enjoyed it. My purpose was to reboot and hike. Location is 6/5 - across the road from the beach in the area full of restaurants. As I visited in January, working heating was an amazing benefit. Rooms are tiny but well restored, sturdy, cozy, have all the necessities felt neat. Breakfast is served in the nice tropical style dining, not extremely versatile, but have enough options to keep it sufficient and maintain variety ver three nights (I discovered the pancake option too late), good selection of teas - to whom it may concern. By the way, for those who consider workation - dining area of the lobby is the great co-working space during the day.

Rooms are tiny, although the setup and equipment are sufficient and well.

We booking last minute as our flight was changed to the following day so we arrived at 1.20am, the staff member on desk was so friendly and welcoming to us. The room was perfect for us for one night, beds very comfy, the breakfast was very nice, good variety, and staff was lovely. Hotel is great for surfers, its right across the road from the beach. There is no problem getting uber from this location to visit the rest of Sintra.

Great location to the beach, with a bus stop outside for links to Sintra. Note that the tram is NOT working (May 2023) and not sure if/when it will be. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby. It's very clean and recently decorated and has a quirky sea and surf theme. The staff are lovely; all really friendly and helpful and breakfast is fresh and has a good variety for all tastes.

I don't want to be negative as it's a lovely hotel and what you get is reflected in the price. There is no AC and this may be more essential in warmer months, but for us this was not problematic.

Location was perfect, right next to beach and few restaurants. Big parking lot. Decent breakfast. Overall I didn’t have high expectations, but place exceeded them. Opening door from mobile phone was great, once I figured it out

You could feel moisture in room, as it’s right next to ocean. They also have electronic key system, code what I was given didn’t work - didn’t have confidence how it was managed. However, see above for positive things regarding jt

Right opposite beach and excellent local restaurants. Staff helpful and friendly. Breakfast is excellent with fresh ingredients; cheeses meats and fresh bread. Had a sea view. Rooms are spotless and the general upkeep of the hotel was very clean.

With the sea view, also by the road which was noisy at times but we did have windows open all of the time. Room was quite small as I had mistakenly booked a double bed for my friend and I but were able to separate it hence lack of space.

Great location and nicest staff! The hotel is right across the road from the beach, good food spots and bus into Sintra. The staff were so lovely and helpful with everything and were very friendly.

More selection/variety at breakfast would be a bonus but decent continental breakfast and the crepe machine was delightful
