This was a real pleasant surprise. Excellent value for money. Very spacious and clean rooms. We wish we had time to chill on our veranda after a strenuous hike to the suspension bridge, but we arrived early evening and there is no meal option in the hotel. However the hotel called a taxi and recommended a lovely restaurant in the center of Arouca. The taxi was 7 euro and worth it, after a day driving on windy roads. We also unfortunately had no time to try the pool. Breakfast had lots of fresh fruit. The coffee wasn't so good but everything else was good. We would have liked more time to chill in the hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Very friendly and hospitable staff, clean room with minibar and balcony. Great environment and a great place to relax. It has a pool. Breakfast was good. I had a wonderful experience and moment when checking out. The lady who worked there was very hospitable and she gave me a souvenir (kinds of sweets) from Arouca at check out. It was a really good experience.

Just minor things is that the water of pool was so cold

The views were lovely although it was raining for the duration of our two night stay. The room was very spacious and being a converted farmhouse, had charm. Breakfast was good and staff were helpful. The traditional sweets from Arouca we were given on check out was a fantastic bonus!

There could have been a hairdryer in the room (although I’m sure if I asked, I would’ve been provided with one).

Location is very close to Paiva walkway which was great for us, rooms are great, breakfast is great, pool is a really nice extra with all the hammocks around it, view is beautiful, and above all was the service we received from Sonia the receptionist. She did above and beyond to make us feel comfortable.

I like the view of the garden and the mountain. The room was clean and has a timeless design, an eye for detail. Very friendly staff and relaxed location. A great way to enjoy the view was by sitting on the balcony.

The apartment was big and with space for a 4 people family. Kitchen was equipped and clean. The swimming pool was ok. Location was calm and with large green areas.

The location is fantastic - very quite and peaceful, excelent to relax and get away from the busy city life. The staff were kind and helped with all our questions. The breakfast was supperd

The owner was so helpful! We received a wonderful recommendation for dinner and a great breakfast. Terrific spot after visiting the Pavia walkway and 516 Bridge.

Wonderful, hospitable & warm owners give great recommendations for things to do around the area. Great breakfast. Serene atmosphere in the middle of the forest but only 10min car ride to the quaint town of Arouca, with delicious meat restaurants (recommended by owners).

Swimming pool was slightly cold but great for chilling out

Nice natural and quiet location, very calm and green. Comfortable and clean room with tereace. Perfect for those who want to escape to country.

A bit from town centre, but that also was ok.
