The location, the breakfast, and the overall facilities, starting from the parking to the restaurant, were excellent. I also loved the location—it was a quick walk away from the center of lovely Arouca. The Christmas decorations were pretty, too. It seemed to be a family business, which gave the location a cozier feeling.

Not that it was a huge turn-off (or even a small one), but labeling the available foods at breakfast would have been nice, as is usual in other hotels. There were some offerings which I have never seen before. Yes, this is the only (not so bad) thing I have to point out!

The hotel was in a great location just a short walk from the town centre. We had a good sized room with the added bonus of a nice sitting area which made everything more spacious. The breakfast was good quality with plenty of choice.

The hotel did feel slightly dated and lacked a bit of atmosphere/character but not enough to stop me staying there again.

good location, minutes' walk away from town centre own parking a big plus, as lots of visitors to convent rather basic breakfast but does the job great staff special thank you to the restaurant who crape me for a room with a balcony when window didn't open and delivered lunch to my room in matter of minutes

Great location for Arouca GeoPark activities. Short drive to everything and short walk to center of Arouca for restaurants, cafés and groceries. Excellent buffet breakfast that also included scrambled eggs and bacon along with the customary cheese, meats, juice, cereal, etc. Basic clean, air conditioned hotel room.

Parking next to the hotel could be a challenge. May need to park somewhere along the adjacent street.

Easy to find, friendly greeting upon arrival by Nuno. Check in was easy, clean room, ac worked great, water pressure in shower great, nice breakfast included. Nuno also was extremely helpful in explaining directions and parking for local sites….. 516 Arouca Suspension Bridge was especially helpful. Nuno was outstanding, as was all the staff we encountered.

Location, price, cleanliness

The reception staff need to be trained to be a little bit more friendly. but this is something we feel generally when we visit tourist places. The staff is there to check your ID, give you the card and receive the payment. That's it. They don't ask if it was our first time in the city. They don't ask if we need anything else. If we'd like to book a tour or directions... nothing. It's very straight to the point, no feeling.

Very friendly staff, good location- walking distance to the town. Secure outdoor car park at the hotel. It’s 30 minutes drive to the Arouca bridge.

Purpose built hotel.

The great view from the window of the room for Serra da Freita. The possibility to take the breakfast inside the room, wiith a scenic view. Staff was very helpful, easy to park and good wi-fi. The pastry shop side by side with the hotel.

Maybe the rooms needs to be renewed. The restaurant was closed for meals in both days we had there, but it is easy to take another one by walking distance.

Excellent breakfast. Perfect/central location to explore the region, especially Passadiços do Paiva. Very good hotel actually, but rooms could be a bit bigger. My room had a balcony with city/mountain view which was awesome. Very friendly staff. Lots of parking.

Hotel restaurant doesn't supply dinner but not serious as there are restaurants close by.

Location superb , great breakfast, friendly staff, comfortable room, what more could you ask for.

The restaurant was closed on the first night, otherwise no complaints.
