Small B&B with very clean modern rooms. We didn't experience the noise issues other reviewers are commenting on, in fact we found the place quiet and peaceful, especially as it is tucked away at the very north of the small town and from our room we had a view of the cliffs and ocean. The breakfast is good with great coffee. The staff are friendly. The location is just perfect for exploring the town with everything is within a few minutes walk. There are many really good restaurants close by and the beach is also very good. Very handy that they have a small fridge in the room. There is a small courtyard area at the rear which is nice, clean and peaceful to sit in after breakfast while you sip coffee and contemplate the day's activities.

Azul was a wonderful place to stay, in a beautiful town. The room was large, spotless, quiet, comfortable, and air conditioned. We also loved the small balcony. There was ample storage, a large modern bathroom, and a mini-fridge in the room. Sheets and towels were new, crisp and clean. Breakfast was buffet-style, with lots of choices: yogurt, bread, jams, cereal, coffee, juice, milk, cakes, cheese and meat. We highly recommend this guest house!

The heater was so quite. - building overall : super clean ; seems NEW. - patio : we enjoy the long chairs under the sun in the afternoon. - staff : let’s make an early check in. Give advice for restaurants. Warm welcome. - breakfast is included : damn, this home made carrot cake is still in my head !!. It’s rare from me to give this type of comment and note but all stars were aligned in Azul

Very comfortable beds, good shower, nicely arranged storage in the room. We were warmly wecomed, breakfast was varied and good, and our room was quiet despite being next to the breakfast room - excellent soundproofing.

The room was a bit tight, lack of privacy with the window open as it looked into the common sitting patio. There were few places to hang towels in the bathroom. Lighting was extremely bright for bedside lamps.

This place is way better than the pictures. It might have been the biggest room we had the whole trip with a little balcony off the back and you could see the ocean. There’s a little courtyard to hang out in and it’s just a 5 minute walk to all the restaurants. One of the most beautiful beaches I’ve seen. Such a quaint, quiet town!

Coming from the same industry we were very impressed with the cleanliness, the layout, the position, the amazingly helpful staff. Oh and yes the breakfast was better than many hotels we have stayed in

We were at the end of the season, so the bedding felt a little damp, but this happens even at home in the Algarve

My husband and I booked last minute. The night prior we had stayed in a four star hotel by the beach and we were much happier at Azul then the fancy hotel. Azul was cleaner, more modern and more comfortable. The location is perfect and the breakfast was great. We will definitely recommend to friends and family.

Azul is a wonderful place to stay - impeccably clean and comfortable - gorgeous breakfast of cheeses, ham, eggs, fruits, creeals, juices, etc etc. Plus gorgeous banana cake when we were there. A great way to start the day. They also supply picnics if you want to hike for the day, or just laze on a beach. Staff were all a pleasure to have around - very helpful on every possible request - and invariably friendly. Plus it is 3 minutes from the main square with its fresh fish restaurants and to the steps down to the main beach. Book it if you can - it gets booked quickly!

The wi fi was often too weak to use in the rooms...but that may just mean that the network in Zambujeira itself is weak.

Easily one of the best stays we’ve ever had. Cosy, ridiculously clean, quiet and comfortable. Our host was super helpful and each day we got to enjoy a really nice breakfast. Highly recommended!

Everything was perfect!

Great location close to the trail we were walking on. The room was spacious and quiet. The included breakfast was very good. The host met us on site and was very helpful.

Seemed to be having wifi problems. Kept cutting out in our room. The server was down the day before so was likely a result of that outage. Not a problem with the property.
