The property was gorgeous the lake was beautiful and the amenities were astounding… hammocks and paddle boats

No front desk in the morning, I left my keys in the drop box and after a few hours I still wasn’t checked out. I was told it’s booking responsibility to do this and reimburse my hundred dollar security deposit even though the hotel charged my card upon arrival. I stood in a line for forty minutes with only one person ahead of me. The lack of training for such a high class place was ridiculous. She insisted that booking was responsible for my reimbursement even though the hotel charged the fee upon arrival.

The grounds are wonderful with pool, lake, restaurant and bar all within a small space. The food was excellent. We split a full rack of ribs and had an excellent meal with drinks for $50. We went in summer so it was not crowded. Quiet even though on a main road. The accessible bathroom was terrific and modern. Everything was clean and smelled nice. Isiah at the front desk and Terry in the bar are outstanding and worth asking about.

Long hallways. Lots of walking from rooms.. Very basic rooms with no comfortable chairs. No microwave.

It was convenient to where we had to go for my granddaughter’s Dance Nationals. The pool was great.

The room needs some updating. The bathroom door didn’t align to the doorway, the sliding door that leads to the patio the lock was broken and the exit door nearest to the room was also broken there was no lock so we didn’t have to use the card key to get in the building and was unlocked all night, we were there for 7 nights. Felt unsafe! The property pictures that you use to view the property before booking are somewhat deceiving, the room we had looked nothing like the room in your pictures.

Room was great and staff were very helpful.

Although we booked for 3 people in room, the towels, coffee, etc. were provided for 2 people. We had to ask for additional items. Note: The restaurant and bar closed early, but we were informed that they might close early due to the holiday. My son went to the restaurant just as another large group of people were arriving, and they were all turned away due to the restaurant closing.

The room was clean, and the size of the bathroom was great. The beds were very comfortable, and the pillows were just right. We had a patio walk out, and it took us straight to the pool, and we could see the lake from our sliding glass door. Beautiful view and location. Very safe area and very nice. The staff was amazing , very kind and helpful. The gym I just walked in, and it looked very clean and well maintained. They offer lemon water throughout the hotel, and it is very refreshing. The housekeeping staff is awesome, very attentive, and helpful. The pool was nice and relaxing. The lake was a key to our stay as well. You can kayak and paddle the boat, and it is all included in your reservation.

The only downfall was the restaurant, I think they are understaffed or so, it seems. We only had breakfast there. It is a bit pricey. My coffee and food were cold upon arrival, and it seemed like our waiter was the only host, server & bus boy. But other than that, the potatoes were quite delicious!

I ordered wine and chocolate strawberries in the room to make it a special start to our weekend getaway unfortunately, the chocolates came on a sorry Facebook plays with a tin lid on it like it was a school lunch. Just a shame when the room was so nice. It seemed to be a bit of a letdown, especially for the price, but that’s just being picky. Overall, this day was excellent. The staff were exceptionally kind.

All of the staff were amazing. They were kind, helpful, and accommodating. The grounds were nice, well manicured.

For the price of the room, and the more upscale location of the hotel, I would expect the pool deck to not be missing chunks of the cool deck making the surface uneven to walk on. The little lake was a great feature, the paddle boat was a nice touch, but when my son and I climbed into one and started drifting off we realized the pedals didn't work and were nearly stranded. If the hotel is providing that type of amenity, they should make sure they are operable. Beds were very uncomfortable.

This was my second stay! We love it here! It is so special! The views of the lake and mountains are gorgeous! I love the spacious balcony or patio! My husband and I celebrated our 40th Anniversary here and enjoyed simply walking around the grounds. Dinner and lunch were delicious! They also have bike rentals! The price is incredible! We will be back again and again!

McCormack Scottsdale is a wonderful resort for relaxing with family. The gardens and lake provide beautiful views. My family loved the pool. The rooms for two people are a good size and very clean. The staff are gracious and helpful. There is plenty of water available for free - so necessary for the dry climate.

Resort doesn’t offer alternatives for food allergies. I did not like going to the restaurant because they did not offer gluten free bread, granola, or milk alternatives or foods like risotto prepared without wheat. Waiters did not seem to understand why I didn’t want to order from the menu. Sugar packets were hard to find and healthier sugar substitutes, like Stevia were not provided.

The hotel is so clean and tidy. it is very well decorated and it has stunning ground. The rooms were large and very comfortable and our courtyard view was very nice too. The small lake it great to paddle around and whilst doing so I found a couple of dozen golf balls in the water from the adjacent golf hotel😁 staff were very attentive and friendly and couldn’t help enough. it is very well priced I would def recommend and stay there again we used the bikes, canoes and with camel mountain only 3 miles away clambered up that too😁
