The room was comfortable and had everything I needed, including a nice coffee machine. The location is excellent, particularly for that price. The staff were really useful, in particular one member of staff who, on a night shift, lent me a few dollars to run the washing machine which I desperately needed when my debit card wasn't working.

No free breakfast included in room price and the fact that you have to pay a disproportionate $150 deposit upon arrival on top of the room (for only 2 nights!). Perhaps this is common in DC/the US, but it was a surprise to me (they should flag it when you book) and ate into my spending for the trip!

Very good experience. The hotel is located 3 minutes walk form Foggy Bottom Metro Station from where you get to both airports and to every point of interest on DC. To observant Jews like me, its two minutes from George Washington University Chabad House. Food, including kosher and vegetarian, and be obtained from Trader's Joe and Whole Foods Market, just notice that DC became quiet expansive. I booked the biggest room they have and was really huge, which is nice when you spend nine mights as I did. It was clean, with big TV screen (also Netflix etc.), coffee making machine and a fridge. The downsides where not enough light, storage space not comfortable and no desk so I had to work at my bed side. The staff was great. I asked in advance if there was a kettle in the room. There wasn't but they sent me one for the duration of the stay without me need to ask. They also lend me an adaptor as mine didn't fit, again for the whole stay and free. Given all that ant that being my seventh visit to DC, this is going to be my hotel of choice. Just please add some lighting and maybe a desk, and you'll be close to perfection.

We recently stayed at the Arc Hotel in Washington, DC. The hotel’s location was perfect, putting us right in the heart of DC and close to all the main attractions. Our room was spacious. We’d like to give a special shoutout to Michelle. From the moment we arrived, she went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. Michelle’s warm and friendly attitude made such a difference, and her  recommendations were spot on.  We thank the great staff for our stay.

The windows will need cleaning from outside and the carpet and sofas. The cleaning from the staff is really good.

The room was very clean and spacious. Also, it was very close to the Foggy Bottom metro station, which also connects to the Dulles International Airport. Also, there was a Whole Foods nearby, which was convenient.

The rooms need to be more soundproof as you can hear everything from the other rooms. Certain staff at the reception did not seem to be pleasant at all (they would not even smile at you as you entered the hotel).

They welcomed our pet cat not only in our room but also in the generously sized common area on the ground floor where my spouse was also able to work remotely. We kept our cat leashed when in the common area, in accordance with the rules, and it was really nice to have an extra place for our pet to roam and explore, plus there were windows to perch on and look outside. We enjoyed a comfortable stay in this highly convenient location near the Metro with lots of casual food options within walking distance also. Room was larger than we had expected, and our cat settled-in quickly and seemed very content throughout our stay. Staff was lovely and they were happy to let us hang out in the common room both before check-in and after check-out.

We had a great stay. If anything, we noticed that there was some cracks in the ceiling of our room—purely cosmetic. But it seems to be an older building that was renovated more recently.

All the staff were extremely friendly. They checked on us several times. Michelle was very friendly, and was always so happy to see us and ask about our plans. She upgraded our room for us for our anniversary too! The AC worked great which was absolutely needed as it was super hot and humid our whole stay. The hotel is very clean with daily housekeeping (they even organized our toiletries for us). The hotel is also extremely close to many attractions and a metro station. Overall, we would absolutely stay again and recommend the Arc Hotel to our friends and family.

We were staying in a suite that had a mini fridge, but no way to heat up leftovers. It would have been nice to have a microwave in our suite, but we’re able to use the microwave in the lobby.

Quiet block in Georgetown within walking distance of great restaurants and bars. Was very convenient albeit pricey to park at the hotel itself. The room was roomy with a beautiful layout. Staff were friendly and very helpful with local food and drink recommendations. My boyfriend was thrilled that the tv in the room was a smart tv that allowed streaming to be cast. Already rebooked a return stay here.

We had a small hiccup when the toilet stopped flushing but not due to a clog. We called the lobby and a plumber was sent to help within minutes. Super efficient customer service! One Saturday incident had a large group staying in the next room who were loudly on the phone in the hallway past 10:30pm and then loud in the room until 2am. We did not report it but I will for certain if this happens again. We checked out at 5am so the loud neighbors meant I had little sleep before a 4hr drive back to NY.

😀 Location: A➕ Staff: Excellent Check in: Is at 4pm but we arrived and 2:30pm and not additional charge Hold: $150.00 per stay in hold but refund less 24 hrs after the check out :) Room: Comfortable, clean and excellent space for 2 person A/C: many people mentioned the noise; well for me was no problem. The noise is like a window A/C. Dining room— they do not have restaurant but have a dining room where you can order UberEats ot Doordash and use it to eat. Also, have microwave and a grab and gonarea with snacks, coffee, water, etc (a little pricy but in WDC is normal).

😖: if you stay at first floor and your room has lobby/hotel view entrance take not that in this area have some chairs and tables and the people smoke in this area and you can smell this in your room as if you are with them. Unfortunately, we had a lot of guest smoke weed but when the A/C is on the odor is less.

The location was fantastic - within easy walking distance to White House, Washington Monument and other sites.

1. The heat wasn’t working; not terrible since they did offer to bring up a portable heater but I’m sure someone else would have been very unhappy about this. I did have to sleep in socks and my robe to stay warm enough. However, my adult son loved it because he prefers the cold. 2. There was no microwave in the room so whenever I wanted to reheat something I had to take it to the microwave on the first floor. Very inconvenient. 3. Took advantage of an offer to upgrade the room to a room with a view of Washington…actually all we got a view of was the Watergate Hotel across the street and the planes taking off from Reagan International Airport. Not worth the extra $38/night.

Kosta who i must make a special mention was the most friendly and cheerful staff! His greeting makes up for the others, who were polite and courteous, but seeing a friendly smiling staff just lit up my day. Liked the gym and ability to fill up water bottle. Also available washing machine and dryer is convenient. Was informed of all this information at check in so thumbs up for this. So happy with clean bathroom with no mould stain that I can see, and size of bedroom with 2 large beds was perfect.

Checking in was abit confusing. Informed hotel of friend checking in a day earlier and provided their name but apparently they could not find details until shown communication between friend and myself so eventually was sorted out. Then when I checked in there appeared to be some searching... would think my details would be easily located even if booked through a third party booking.com. A kettle in the room would make it perfect so guest can make own particular tea, as the room was limited to the provided coffee tea capsule machine. Though downstairs marketplace in some way made up for some things like having available microwave for use.
