We had room 409 which was a king suit and was very happy about the size of the room. The bed is a super comfy super king size. Shower was also good pressure and warm. Train station is 5 min walk and your into Amsterdam central in 12 mins which is perfect. Zaandam has a good selection of bars and restaurants within 10 min walk from hotel.

Would’ve liked proper cups and glasses rather to annjust paper cups. The microwave in the room didn’t work very well and could do with an upgrade. Also the big tv should be in the living room and not the bedroom but again a minor change, that wouldn’t stop me coming back to this hotel

The location is very good, most staff were very nice but one or two of them would not even look at you, just keep looking at the computer and give very short and sharp answer. But other than that when requested a thinner pillow they gave us and they put my mum’s insulin in the freezer as well.

Just one rude staff that was working late in the nighttime and some pieces of furniture could do with being moved and cleaned underneath but I appreciate that there are many rooms.

Friendly staff, very good breakfast, rooms are good. The location is close to the Zaandam train station and to an Albert Heyn grocery store. For those wanting to visiting Amsterdam region, it's just a 10 minute train ride to central Amsterdam. And a very quiet location!

With a couple new hotels nearby with the funky looking "Zaans" house look, the BW Zaan looks less than exciting. But it has what we need and is better value for money.

I loved the location, 5 minute walk from train station, the town Zandaam is.beautiful, train from Schipol airport was fab 6.40 euro one way, train to Amsterdam central 7.40 euro return, hotel rooms were huge, breakfast a bit expensive but nice

Outside the hotel looks a bit rundown it doesn't have any curb appeal, I asked for an iron n ironing board on day 1 by the time I was checking out it still hadn't arrived, plus noise is not allowed in the bar in the evening

The staff were welcoming and helpful, the room was clean and modern, and the bathroom, particularly the shower was much better than expected for the price range. The hotel itself is very close to the Train Station from which travelling to Amsterdam centre or the Airport is very efficient.

If you are looking to explore Zaandam this hotel is located quite far away from bars and coffee shops, however if you're staying to head to Amsterdam it's ideal

The location of the hotel is excellent, 3 minutes from the train station, from which you need exactly 12 minutes by train to the central station in Amsterdam. The town of Zaandam is very peaceful and beautiful. There are many famous shops, fast food restaurants. The hotel is good, the staff is good. The only thing that was bad for us was that the beds were on wheels and they separated during the night and we didn't have hand soap in the bathroom.

The bed was very comfortable. The staff were helpful. It was a short taxi ride to the place with the windmills and folk village. There was a supermarket near the hotel. The hotel was close to Zaandam station. You exit the station to the right and go down in the lift then turn right at the bottom. It was a bit difficult to find the first time but easy when you know the way.

The breakfast was OK but a bit expensive. The train to Zaandam only goes once every 30 minutes to Amsterdam. It was about 15 euros return for an adult from memory. Apart from an interesting building next to the station there was not much to see in Zaandam itself. We didn't find any nice restaurants either.

Good stay in general. Hearty breakfast, pleasant, spacious rooms. Comfortable bedding. Just 2 minutes from the station for Amsterdam Central and with free parking, the hotel is ideally located for a city trip to Amsterdam

Too bad for the lack of communication with Mr M. because his female colleagues are smiling and pleasant I tried to speak in Dutch but not understanding all his answers I asked to speak in English, I unfortunately did not understand his answer nevertheless he did not want, or perhaps knew, to speak English, the conversation continued in Dutch ... which I understood only half. Too bad in such an internatinal hotel chain...

Everyone was very welcoming and seemed eager to help, it was an awesome experience and we will definitely be coming back, thank you for having us.

The only issue I had was the €45 tax on the room, even after paying for the room months in advance, I think it wouldn't have been as big of an issue, if we had known about it before arriving.

Spacious room with kettle and mini fridge. Very welcoming staff. Very close to metro station literally 2 min walk and 20 min to Amesterdam. Close to two branches of Albert hejin supermarkets. The view from the hotel was amazing. Close to zanndam famous architecture.

Nothing all was perfect just a little bit low lightening.
