Great location, friendly staff and wonderful facilities for children and adults alike.

I found it odd that even after taking a deposit, you couldn’t just charge what you wanted to the room to pay at the end of your stay. The hotel required you to put down a second deposit once the first was used up. We are well travelled and have stayed in many hotels, including others in Bali and have never experienced this before. It was a little inconvenient when trying to purchase food at the pool. Especially with a young family.

Perfect location ,Good comfy adult size beds, rockstar theme style rooms, incl a expresso machine, fridge, international power points at the wall, finally a nice smelling shampoo and moisturiser , sound proof rooms.Free live music at the bar at 9pm, nice decorated hall with the famous belongings of rockstars, great swimming pool with music underwater!!!! Possibility to rent a kazeboo at the pool with complimentary snacks,. It's a big hotel , I didn't see all in 3 days.. everyone has big smiles for you in this place...

Tought the breakfast restaurant was noisy and crowded in the morning. The taste was average, however it's a western people's place so most would be satisfied. The food served at the pool kinda western priced too and not for repeat for me. However you won't get a swimming pool in Amsterdam included for this price.

The pool and water park are amazing for children. The swim up bar is excellent for adults. The pool area is the main selling point of the hotel. The rooms are quite comfortable, but our room had a strange design with a lounge running right across the access to the balcony. This meant we had to crawl over that lounge to get to the sliding door to hang any towels or wet swimming trunks outside.

The hotel has a very strange policy with pool towels yes it's fine to sign for pool towels but to be not allowed to take them back to your room is very very odd and inconvenient. I had several arguments with staff because I was dripping wet from the pool and holding a wet 2-year-old. I wanted to wrap a dry towel around myself to walk all the way back the long distance to the room. I was constantly told this was not allowed. This is a silly policy and makes me want to not stay at the hard Rock hotel again. Getting in lifts walking upstairs and on slippery surfaces while dripping wet and not allowed to have a towel that's just not normal.

Everyone was so friendly and the breakfast was massive. We liked the facilities for the kids and would stay again. The rooms were an adequate size for our small family (2a 2c) and my son loved it here. The slides were fun.

My children were constantly unwell. Towards the end we stopped all eating at the hotel for the kids and the improved significantly. We were in Bali for 23 days and only got sick when we stayed at hard rock (there for 9 days), my daughter ended up in hospital. They both made a significant recovery when we stopped drinking the water provided and food. At night there are people cleaning the main areas but in the cabana when we booked it wasn’t as clean as we would have liked it to be when you’re paying $65 au a day. If we were to come again, I wouldn’t eat the food or drink the water and be more vigilant with cleaning my children’s hands.

Hard Rock is in a good position across the road from Kuta Beach and plenty of restaurants within walking distance. We upgraded to the Rock Royalty package and all the staff made us feel like ROYALTY, always greeting you by name with a smile. George , who always made a point of talking personally to all guests, - you have wonderful staff and should be really proud of them. Rikaa, Regina, Yellow, Adi, Fani, Doni, Adit, Dessy, Rini, Novi, Lidya( lovely ) and especially Widya who went over and above to help us . Apologies if I’ve missed anyone out. The New Year was the best I’ve ever had, and I’ve seen the New Year in many countries. I can’t understand the negative comments from some people about sunbeds and quality of the pool, plenty of beds and the pool and area was continually being cleaned.

Loved all of it, it exceeded my expectations.

Family friendly, beautiful resort. Breakfast was great. Location was great.

Cabanas get booked easily so didn’t get a chance to experience one the entire week. I didn’t like the fact that you have to pay extra charges for a child once they’re 11 or 12 years so they aren’t considered as children. But you have two big beds to share with your little family which is plenty of space so the price would have been more worth it for the 2 adults and kids but because my son turned 12 we had to pay extra at check in. It is more realistic for the 2 adults to have their kids included in the price as there are two beds therefore it doesn’t need to be per person it’s more suitable to charge per room.

Buffet breakfast each day was a hit with the kids. The service staff were so friendly, polite & welcoming. They made my daughter a towel animal and left in on her bed she loved it so much they left her a different animal each day. Small effort can go a long way with a child. The pool has so many sections to it, we sat in a different spot each day to make the most of the whole pool area. I booked a cabana for 2 different days, one had a ladder and sat above the water so the kids could jump off into the water, as well as getting smoothies delivered! The room was perfect for myself and 2 children and they slept in everyday because the room temperature was cool, the bed was comfortable & the curtains blocked out any light. It was my first time taking the kids on a holiday overseas and I think the hard rock was the perfect location for this.

The buffet dinner food at the hotel was convenient and kids eat free per paying adult, however the food wasn't the best for what you pay. There is a lot of sunbeds to choose from which is great however the ones on the sand in the middle had no shade, this would be a great idea to maybe put a shade sail up or some umbrellas for long term use of them. This is me really having to think about negatives though, as there really wasn't many!

Big pool, lovely staff and ok facilities. The staff were super friendly and because we stayed for two weeks we got some discounts. Also loved the live music everything and the hotel is very family friendly with good dining options for families with young children. Breakfast was good.

The room was just ok. Considering we were a long stay, I think the property could have done a better job allocating a better room. For a family of 4 there were not many options for storage in the room. Small wardrobe and poor choice of furniture (bedside tables with no drawers). The pool is so big and so many people use it that the water is not super clean. All our swimmers got stained with the orange tanning lotion that floats in the water and the same happened to our friend’s clothes and other guests.

Breakfast amazing. Concerts at night- amazing. Rooms & bathrooms- amazing. Public spaces - amazing. Offer of free photography session with super friendly photographers- amazing. Staff were so kind, so happy, loved the kids. Pool is sensational of course, the beach inside the pool, the slides, kids playground, bar and kids bar. Loved the kids activities they run. Loved the free movies in the room too- suitable for all the family.

Hardly anything, it’s so amazing. However the pool probably needs a bit better filtration system, the water is pretty cloudy and it’s not uncommon to swim around and feel strands of hair through your fingers which is pretty gross.

The staff were by far the most outstanding thing about our stay, nothing was too much trouble, and every time we passed by someone anywhere, they always said hello and had a smile on their face. It was my birthday whilst we were there, and they were very thoughtful and left a cake in the room for me. I also needed somewhere to run on line training courses in the UK, and they were kind enough to lend me a private office where I could do it. George, the front of house manager, who I had a few conversations with, was clearly very passionate about customer service (as am I, because this is what I do aswell) which was very evident throughout the whole team. The kids loved the pool, the cabanas were brilliant, and all in all we had a great time!! Definitely recommend Hard Rock for families.

The room (King Deluxe) was pretty small for 4 of us (despite it saying it was suitable for children under 12, using a trundle bed) - we tried to upgrade to something bigger, but there just wasn't anything available. The cost of drinks etc were quite expensive given its location, considering that literally across the road you could get the same things (ie beer) for nigh on half the price. The hotel was a little worn around the edges, but didn't detract away from the fun, and it was clear they were working their way around the establishment on various bits to update it, as there was always people painting, cleaning etc etc
