It's not our first stay at the Ibis in Arad, and I'm sure we'll stay there again. The hotel is ideally placed for a stopover when travelling by car from western Europe to Bucharest. The restaurant is open until 22:00, and the food is really tasty. The rooms are super clean, the bathrooms, nice. Quality mattresses, linens, etc. Despite being located near the highway, the rooms are quiet. Breakfast is adequate. They are pet-friendly, and have accommodated us with our Golden Retriever even in the restaurant, which is very much appreciated.

Fresh orange juice at breakfast would be great. Coffee-making facilities in the rooms would also be nice. Otherwise, I can't think of anything...

The hotel's main selling point is its location close to the motorway, which is helpful for those in transit. There is virtually nothing to see or do immediately around the hotel, at the edge of town, in a dilapidated former industrial area. The interior design team did a great job - the hotel is comfortable and lively, with a modern vibe, but also capitalises on the industrial heritage of this part of Arad. The apartment we stayed in had two bathrooms, which was a plus for our family of four. I would also highlight the comfortable beda and sofa, the armchairs and the wide windows.

The staff at the front desk were welcoming but could use some more client service training - telling me about internal system issues that had no impact to me was a bit out of place, and even more so was putting on a wide smile as they told me the restaurant closed early for Easter Monday. We were at the end of a very long day and very eager to have dinner at the hotel, so we were clearly disappointed (we should have factored in the holiday). I also noticed staff operating the breakfast area could not accommodate foreign speaking guests - staff spoke neither German nor English. Otherwise, the food selection and beverage selection offered for breakfast was decent, though not great quality.

Spacious room, enough for a family with 2 children. Breakfast was good. Enough parking spaces.

It was a very hot day in Arad , still the AC was not on before entering the room so it was about 27 degrees C inside. We had started the AC ourselves still it had taken about 1 hour to have an acceptable temperature. I would recommend for the Hotel staff in such hot summer Days to have the Ac on before the guests arrival.

Easy access to stop and go when you travel Good Internet access A litlle green area next to hotel if travel with dog Big and clean room and very comfortable bed. Very nice and professional at reception, also the waiter attends better than the girl attending at entrance

Girl attending on restaurant not able to attend if more clients than usual. 1 or 2 options for food if you are vegetarian I missed a walking area close to the hotel (after driving 8 hours).

The hotel is extremly clean and well stocked. The staff is very polite and professional. The parking lot is easy to navigate into.

I wish they would have not Haloweenized the place. They should update the Google Maps location (ans claim it!) so that the navigation there is smooth (right now Google takes you close to the hotel, bit does not “see” the parking lot entrance).

Late check in was available, actually they were nice and called us asking if we are ok. Room was nice, quite big I would say, all the amenities in place. Toilets were sparky clean and we were happy with the heating/cooling HVAC (being able to control the temp). Wireless was good. Breakfast was buffet style, you get what you want. Healthy options were available too beside English breakfast yummy eggs & bacon :) Free parking with surveillance and very nice English speaking employees.

Everything was clean, staff was really helpful, it had a fairly big parking space, and the fact that it's located on the outskirts of the city and helps you avoid traffic when you are travelling. It was a nicely decorated as well.

Breakfast wasn't fresh, especially the bread in the morning, coffee machine was pretty clogged up, so the coffee was really strong. Rooms were a bit small for the price for one night in a city like Arad.

The rooms are spacious, the bed is comfortable, the design is nice, two bathrooms in the apartment are a plus when you travel with kids.

Lack of water bottles in the room, the fridge was empty. I would appreciate a better breakfast with quality products. Better cheese, maybe a fruit salad instead of fruits, better pastry, fresh juice, or quality juice, more types of tee, better jam.

The hotel is wonderful, the staff very responsive. The location is not very good, but it depends on what you need, we were just passing through and needed somewhere to sleep. The food in the restaurant was good. In general, I am satisfied.

There was a strange smell from outside, the reason may be that the hotel is located in an industrial area.

I am beyond impressed with this hotel. It was very clean, the staff was friendly, the room was spacious, the breakfast was top! They have also a kids corner which was a great plus. Additionally, the large parking had chargers for electric cars which was super convenient for us. The charging prices were also good. We will for sure come back!
