This hotel was almost perfect for my needs. The breakfast was fabulous and they have really good coffee. The receptionists were all very welcoming, kind, throughtful and went above and beyond to make my short stay as pleasant as possible. The room was spacious with a very big bathroom. Additionally, it was super warm and inviting. It was a really good find and within walkable distance of all the places I needed to go to. It's ideal if you want to spend a weekend in the city center, reconnecting with old friends or hanging out till late.

The room I was in was a loft and it didn't have a desk. The internet was also a meager 10 mb/s so it was quite hard to find a way to check my e-mail and do some small work-related things. By no fault of the hotel's the Old City of Bucharest has turned into a club/party area, instead of being a place for good food, good chill vibes and relaxation. The music is on outside till around 2-3 am and it seems that all the restaurants are trying to compete who has a better sound system. The windows of the room insulate the noise quite well, but not entirely, so I wouldn't recommend the area to light-sleepers.

The hotel is at an excellent location, at the very centre of the old city centre of Bucharest. Many central places of interest are really close to reach on foot. Nearby there are numerous restaurants and cafes. (This is also a minus, see below.) The room was very clean, towels were changed daily (even though I didn't ask for it for sustainability reasons) and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was good, with some choices, though not too rich. The staff was very friendly and helpful to my questions.

The room was very small and there was no chair or small table, so I could not work in the room at all. There was too much noise from the nearby bars at night, usually until 3am-4am, especially on Friday-Saturday-Sunday nights. My room was on the back side. Only when I totally closed all windows there was insulation (but no fresh air in the room).

The location was good. The staff at the reception desk were very warm and friendly. Particularly the brown and blonde haired ladies (We loved the cat socks, haha) The air conditioning unit was very good in our room. If location is important and being central in the old town is important, this hotel is a good option if you don't have a massive budget like us.

The breakfast options could be better, but there was enough to eat. The breakfast time slot should be extended from 8-9:45am. 6:45-10:00 am would have been useful in our case, for example, as we had two day trips with early starts. There was a bit of noise due to being so central to all the clubs and bars at night. Try getting a room at the back and bring good ear plugs. I'm a light sleeper generally but slept fine in room 212 with my loop ear plugs.

The hotel has a superb location close to the old town and major landmarks. The rooms are small but very cozy and very warm considering how cold it was outside. The staff is very helpful and they could accommodate for a room on the inner part of the hotel which is very important considering the loud noise coming from the clubs on the pedestrian street. I also enjoyed the breakfast and the restaurant.

There is always loud music coming from the pedestrian street (not the hotel fault) due to club staying open till 2 am or latter. Therefore I would strongly recommend arranging for a room on the inner courtyard. The other issue was repair works going on in the morning. On 2 out of 4 nights I stayed, I rose awake at 6 am from hammer blows and electric drills. That is something that should be corrected. Repair works should occur at a different time.

The location is very near to everything. Walking distance to all tourist spots. I've been reading all the reviews of this hotel. The common complaint of other tourists is the noise from outside, but to my surprise I didn't hear any music or noises from our room. We didn't even use the earplugs that are provided from the reception. We sleep very well. We also like their hi-tech door knob/door lock. The receptionist and all the other staff are very friendly and accommodating. We are very glad that we stayed in this hotel because we enjoyed most of our time while staying in bucharest, especially at night time. Very clean rooms and their corridors going to your room smell good. Breakfast is OK. Small options of foods.

Breakfast is good, continental buffet style with addition cooked eggs, bacon, sausages etc. A good choice of coffee, fruit juice, yoghurt, croissants, toast, cold meats and cheese, fresh tomatoes. The location is in the very heart of the old town near to bus and metro transport, it can be noisy but reception will provide ear plugs should you require, The location more than makes up for a little bit of noise. This hotel is very safe with 24 hour reception.

The first thing that struck me was the impeccable service. The staff are true professionals who go above and beyond to ensure your stay is perfect. They are warm, welcoming, and always ready to assist with any request. Whether it's arranging transportation, recommending local attractions, or simply greeting you with a friendly smile. One of the standout features of Hotel is its location. Situated in the heart of Bucharest, it offers convenient access to many of the city's top attractions, restaurants, and shops. I was able to explore the beautiful Old Town, visit historic landmarks like the Palace of the Parliament, and indulge in delicious Romanian cuisine, all within walking distance of the hotel. My stay at Hotel Forty One was a truly memorable experience, and I can't wait to return to this exceptional boutique hotel on my next visit to Bucharest. I highly recommend it for a memorable and comfortable stay.

I liked everything

The location is epic and right in the middle of the party district of Bucharest. It is also walkable distance from so many main attractions, even the metro, the area is packed with restaurants. The rooms were very neat, modern and maintained beautifully. Breakfast options were good.

We stayed in the back building and there was no lift there although the hotel receptionist helped us carry our bags on the stairs. The hotel is in a no-cab street so you'll have to drag your suitcases for a few hundred metres to the hotel from the road.

The property is absolutely gorgeous, you cannot fault that. The staff were friendly and attentive, with 24 reception. I left a ring at the property which was kept safe until I could arrange for collection. They then facilitated collection and dealt with a difficult courier for me on my behalf. You cannot fault the staff at this place.

It is unfortunate that such a lovely hotel has a bouncing strip club right outside that will be loud until 6am Mon-Sun. Although, we asked to move to a quieter room which was facilitated immediately by staff. The room was slightly quieter and came with earplugs.

Modern design and a great location. The breakfast was perfectly rich and even had a take away option for the one time we missed it.

Although the hotel was centrally located in the old city, the neighborhood was too noisy full of drunks. Our room was not overlookin the street so we manage to have some quite time afte 4 a.m. Unfortunatelly the first floor rooms such as our, are above the kitchen making the space too hot. Last but not least the room was nice, but it did not over enough furniture options, no chair or table for our suitcases and no wardrobe.
