during our stay ay this location we have been treated amazing by all the staff, early morning coffee brought to our room even before bar staff arrived. Reception staff was amazing and always trying to meet our needs. very friendly staff and so attentive. Professional and accurate table service, food is delicious, and they have all kinds of toys of the little ones to keep entertained while you have your meal.The rooms were cleaned thoroughly every day, although we had our little daughter with us, the cleaning ladies did an amazing job! there is also a child play area outside which is salvation when you travel with children! I would definitely return in the same location, and I recommend it with all the trust!

Very stylish hotel from an era. Great stuff, girl from reception desk helped us with many things, especially to switch the room and waiters from restaurant were super friendly! (Greetings to Andrei and Maria!). Beds were very comfortable. It was very nicely heated in the hotel, since outside the temperature dropped to minus. All in all, we are very satisfied with the hotel!

Maybe the breakfast could be a little better and richer, especially when you include some fresh fruit in the offer.

The booking process was seamless and the hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. The amenities were top-notch, and the location was ideal for exploring the city. However, the room was a bit smaller than expected, which was slightly disappointing given the price. Despite this, the cleanliness and comfort of the room made up for its size (the room was located in the attic). I would recommend La Belle Epoque for its excellent service and prime location, but be aware of the room dimensions when booking. Also, the breakfast was very good, you can choose from 5 or 6 predefined options.

Reception staff on arrival excellent. Nice history of the hotel booklet supplied in the room. Room was clean, prepared perfectly and nicely equipped. Great shower. Mini bar is a nice touch. Parking is available and secure.

Restaurant staff were lacking enthusiasm and pretty sullen. Could of been down to a lack of English, but attitude overcomes language barriers. Breakfast was pretty awful, not a great choice (no muesli/cereals), one of the jams did seem to be beyond expiry date. No fresh juice. If you just want fried egg and sausage then it wasn't too bad.

The location is relatively central, the WiFi was working well, the room was very spacious, and the breakfast was well-assorted, with good coffee. The Belle Epoque is somewhat like a theme hotel: it was a theater in earlier times, and much decor and equipment carrying over from that former period is affectionately preserved and exhibited. For a place like Petrosani the Belle Epoque offers fairly tasteful and advanced accommodation.

The hotel was wonderful, located in a very interesting building, nicely renovated, it was a really pleasant surprise. Rooms are very clean and large and so are the bathrooms. The attention to details is remarkable, there was a shaving kit and 2 toothbrush kits among the usual soap and shower gel. There's a large parking and a nice restaurant. The hotel staff is friendly, attentive, and dedicated to providing exceptional service. Since we left early the next day, we received breakfast to go. Mountains are very close.

It’s not at 200 meters from downtown as specified Too hot inside, more than 25 degres and no possibility to open the window, AC was ok for refreshing the air. Jacuzzi non fonctional Overall a good hotel…very clean, beautiful, very calm and the people very kind at the reception! Thank you to them!

I was pleasantly surprized by this hotel. We chose this hotel at first, because we couldn't find anything else closer to Straja, but it will definetly be the first choice, next time we will need an accomodation in this area. The food was really good and the staff always eager to help. There are a lot of parking slots in the hotel courtyard . We had a room in the attic and one thing that I didn't like, was that the window couldn't be opened because of the snow. Probably this is expected in the winter, that's why I don't consider this a negative point,

Not a lot to be honest. The place is decent and the price decent

Room was too hot. No desk so no way you can use your laptop to work. The shower was leaking. The breakfast was not great either. I had to request a late checkout and they charged me 30% of the price even though the hotel was half empty

The way they renovated and repurposed the building is stunning. Having breakfast in the old foaier of the theater is wonderful. They even had a small corner with toys for the kids to play with, to keep them entertained. The old pieces of history around the building are well maintained.
