What a superb hotel ! Elegant and charming within the Beautiful and vast highland grounds which also house a stunning horse and pony and highland coos 💕 Upon our arrival up the vast and serene tree lined driveway , we were greeted with A warm and wonderful welcome to this gorgeous Manse with a roaring fire and drinks in the drawing room and Angus taking ourselves and luggage in a buggy to our lovely room 💕 Our dinner was spectacular ! The most delicious courses we had in Scotland and even though all of our meals have been superb , these talented chefs took and made the cake lol ! 🤩 Being our Anniversary we were absolutely spoiled by the attentive and friendly staff and Andy was beyond helpful , booking our flights back to Edinburgh in the morning for us after a scrumptious breakfast in their cheerful , glass dining room 🩷 What a a pure delight in every way 😇🥂

Not a complaint in the world ! 🥰

We stayed in 'Holly', one of the beautifully colourful designed garden rooms and it was absolutely stunning. The mix of very bold colours and design is outstanding especially the headboard and bathroom. The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower...wow! Wish we could have stayed longer than one night to take a walk, explore and dine in the beautiful looking restaurant so we will have to return!

Beautiful location. Close to House of Bruar and waterfall walk. We stayed in garden rooms separate to main hotel, think when you are staying somewhere like this breakfast should be included in the price, I know it wasn’t advertised with breakfast but for a 5* we were surprised. Lovely menu in the evening, £85 pp service excellent but we felt rushed.

No hairdryer in room and limited body wash.

Lovely location. Nice comfortable room. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Stayed in walled garden rooms. Walls very thin so we where kept awake until 3.30am as our neighbours where having some fun next door. Dinner, drinks and breakfast all very expensive. Random ring style cameras dotted around in the main building which i personally think ruins the ambience.

wonderful location and the decor in the rooms we stayed in was lovely. Cosy rooms.

there was nothing adverse about the accommodation in any way. I was a little disappointed with the fact I had requested a separate dining area for a group of 8 people and this was not provided. The food was good but not exceptional. We had a lovely stay and felt comfortable and welcome. I would recommend it to others. Unfortunately my husband and I were called away due to a family bereavement but our friends enjoyed their second evening.

The Old Manse is an absolute gem. We stumbled upon it by accident and couldn’t have been more pleased with the find. The owner and her family are exceptional hosts; food/drink divine; and attention to detail 5 stars. As a bonus, there are the most adorable and quintessentially Scottish Highland hairy coos on the property.

Lovely setting. Very comfortable and chic stable/snug bedrooms- fantastic bed, great shower and bathroom, nice patio. Friendly and helpful staff. Great food in restaurant.

The food while great is expensive. No a la carte available and set menu is a lot. However you dont have to eat here there are other options close by.

The staff are great, the ambience is really nice, beds are so comfortable, check in was swift, views are very nice. Really enjoyed our stay.

Dinner was good, but if you’re not careful you’re in and out in 45 minutes with three courses in your stomach - it’s nice to have a slower pace -). But the place is great!

Stunning & picturesque setting. Rooms were very tastefully decorated and all needs catered for. We stayed New Years Eve and enjoyed the pipes and drums bringing in the bells. The sunrise on New Years Day was beautiful. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Nothing to dislike, only thing for me was the mattress was slightly on the hard side.

Beautiful property with very friendly staff. We stayed in one of the smaller stable rooms, and while it was a bit cramped with all our bags, the bed was very comfortable. The reception spaces in the main house were lovely and the grounds were really beautiful. We enjoyed the experience of meeting other guests in the reception room for drinks before the delicious dinner at the hotel restaurant. The hotel staff were so welcoming. It was a luxurious experience! We only stayed one night, but I would love to come back and stay for several.

Stable room was a bit cramped for two adults with luggage. Shower area is more of a wet room and shower drain was slow, so entire bathroom floor was wet after taking a shower - a shower curtain would be useful.
