The property was able to accommodate our family of 14 people and it felt like we had the entire Riad to ourselves.

In my head, when I booked it, I was sure it had a pool but it didn’t. However, our stay here was wonderful and the staff there were so kind and hospitable.

Riad Challa is a lovely little hotel perfectly located in the centre of the Medina, very close to the main square. The staff are amazing, Hassan, Amine and the lovely lady in reception (sorry didn’t catch your name!) couldn’t be more helpful and are always ready to help. It’s lovely to have the pool to be able to cool down from the heat, and the beautiful rooftop terrace. Will definitely recommend it and will stay there when I’m back in Marrakech

Breakfast is pretty basic and could easily be improved. Sometimes it can be a bit noisy, I’d recommend a room in the top floor

The Staff was truly exceptional, they kept our luggage for a few hours before we checked in, and they helped us a lot when I encountered a health problem - they advised on a clinic and transport, very much appreciated! They were very nice and professional at the same time and always available. :) The Riad itself was charming, a lovely pool in the middle of the building, various treatments, trips and breakfasts available for an additional fee.

Our room was a bit stuffy (but they have windows to the inside of the Riad just in case) and a light bulb was flickering in the bathroom, but apart from that the decor was nice and beautiful, all great, nothing to complain about. :D

the interior of the riad is magnificent, you can take very nice pictures :) stuff was very helpful and nice :) we didn’t have breakfast or used anything more as we stayed only one night here :)

If you are going for the first time in Marrakech consider booking the taxi via your riad as it is really hard to find anything in the Medina by yourself especially if you don’t have internet. We took a random taxi from the airport which left us outside of the medina and we had a struggle to find the riad as it was 10min walking from where he left us. (we also considered going by bus from the airport at first which was probably not such a good idea)

Amine made our stay so special and he’s so kind and we love him. If we come back to Marrakech it’s for him 🫶🏽 Our stay at the Riad has been nothing short from amazing. It’s located perfectly and the rooms are clean and pretty as is the entire facility.

We want to give a special mention to Hafsa and Amine. Amine was on duty when we arrived and he gave us a choice of 2 rooms. One was a bit bigger but close to the noise of the city and the other one was quieter, but super small. We chose the smaller one as we wanted to get some good sleep. After one night in the room we found it so hard to move around and told Amine the next day. He immediately arranged a bigger room for us and it was perfect. We were so impressed and grateful!! Hafsa was just so sweet throughout. She was friendly and kind and gave us advice on how to stay safe in the city as two girls travelling. They were both absolutely wonderful and we loved having chats with them everyday-It was almost like we could have been friends. The riad itself is very beautiful on the inside. Very clean and there is a good breakfast selection. The ladies in the rootftop/breakfast area were very sweet too. The pool is a nice area to relax and the riad is close to everything. The souks are on your doorstep with plenty of nice places to eat only walking distance away. We also thought it was very well priced. Thank you all so much, especially Amine and Hafsa. We hope to meet again one day and we cannot recommend them both enough. I can imagine that they make all the customers feel at home all the time. We would love to come back and will send our family and friends too :) 5 star staff and room!

We had a hammam and although in general we enjoyed the experience, we have had a hammam before in the past. This means we did have something to compare it with. The ladies didn't seem to be that attentive, it's like they wanted to rush through it and were going in and out of the room talking to each other during the massage, which wasn't very relaxing. A little improvement would be to really think about the customer experience. It was nice, but just a few adjustments and it will be better. This isn't a big complaint as we understand it must be tiring work but we think it will just make it soo much better for the client.

Staff were really helpful especially the lovely young woman on the front desk who was friendly and full of useful information. Fantastic situation in the heart of old Marrakech for exploring the alleyways and vibrant markets. The interior of the Riad is very pretty. An excellent breakfast served on the roof terrace which was fab.

The Riad advertised facilities including kettle but we didn't have one so no tea or coffee making which was a shame. We also wanted bedside lamps so we did have one supplied but there was only one plug socket in a room for three adults which these days is a bit impractical when trying to charge mobiles etc etc..Would definitely benefit from more sockets.

Located in the heart of Medina, just minutes away from the main square - Hotel Riad Challa is a great place to stay. A perfect location with an excellent service. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Hafsa and Farid. They went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The room was clean and comfortable, the shower was great with hot water. The breakfast was good, served on the terrace daily from 7:00 to 10:00 am. I especially liked the hotel's decor and the swimming pool in the middle. Although the water was a little chilly, it was a great place to swim and relax after a long tour.

The location is right in the heart of the medina but away enough not to hear anything. It's super close to a hidden market which is just on the street behind (cheaper prices there as well - just turn left as you exit the door and left again and walk that street to the end..it's 1min away). The pool is very nice and with a great Moroccan atmosphere. The staff is great and friendly. They will do everything on their reach to help you with all your queries and needs. You can even print your boarding pass there! (you need it printed in morocco). Super nice to have such a good team ensuring everything is available.

Our stay was very good and nothing stood out particularly. Just something I think could be better is the food area on the top floor... it could have AC for both the guests and the people working there. There could be more options of fruit and it could already have been sliced but this needs refrigeration which is lacking. This is an improvement I'd like to see before I go back to this Riad :)

Good location- short walk from Saadian Tombs, El Badii Palace, Bahia palace, Jemaa El Fnaa and Souk Semmarine. Comfortable beds. Good temperature and pressure in the shower. A/C in the room. Variety of hot and cold food for breakfast. Friendly and helpful reception staff. Swimming pool. Variety of spa treatments, unfortunately we didn't have time to try them out.

Breakfast- not heated properly if you come early (around 7am as they start serving breakfast) or quite limited choice when you come late (once we came around 9:30am and most food was gone and not replaced). Swimming pool is quite small and basic. The water was luke warm. During our stay (end of March 2024), the temperature in Marrakech was moderate (16-20°C) so sitting in the pool felt quite cold.
