The sea view was exceptional looking right over the entire Poniente beach. The balcony had two chairs and a small table. The location was superb and minutes from bars and restaurants The breakfast choice was very good and not just limited to continental. The air conditioning was good and there were two lifts which reduce waiting time. The refurbishment and unusual décor importantly distinguished it from the previous poorer Esmerelda Hotel. The reception team were professional and helpful. They kindly printed me off my return boarding card from my email and booked me taxis. The room was well serviced each day except Sunday with plenty of new fluffy white towels.

The bar area, which could have been an major asset, was never open for the entire week. When I looked in it was empty and unstaffed and so I used the Hotel Montemar next door to entertain friends, whose drinks, coffee bar and roof terrace bar were very good. This was the Pop Art Hotel's major fault in my opinion. I do not know if this was always the case or if I had been unlucky. Everything else was good or better.

Location was excellent. Especially for the fireworks display on the beach.

The only complaint I have is there wasn’t a fridge in the room. I reported this to reception on the second day and was promised one would be put in as there should be one in every room. However, one never appeared even asking several times about when it would be. So for 5 days drinks were warm within a couple of hours of purchase meaning I kept having to buy fresh cold ones several times a day. Other than that it’s an excellent place with nice friendly informative staff and I would definitely recommend it to anyone and I will also be staying there again on my next trip to Benidorm (hopefully next time there will be a fridge in my room).

It was everything you needed on a short stay trip. Clean and well maintained. Staff was always friendly and very helpful. Little things like there was a small fridge a free safe, and you could borrow a kettle for a refundable €10 which was refunded when we left. Even more simple things you would likely need but may forget to bring were the little wrapped comb, cotton buds /pads, and shower cap. Shampoo and shower gel in the shower and also hand-wash and moisturising cream at the basin.. It is a great location right on top of the beach and bars. Not too far from the main strip of new benidorm . (€9 taxis home). The cost of the 5 days stay for me and my husband was £225 which I think was really a good price All in all 10/10 stars 🌟 from me, I will definitely be going back to stay at Casual Pop Art

We had a sea view room and the view was absolutely amazing

I stayed in a first floor room with a sea view and balcony and can confirm that this was worth the extra cost. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves was just fabulous. The hotel was very close to the one where my family were staying on this trip but I would definately choose this one again for a future visit. The room was spacious for one person but for 2 I would book a larger room. The bathroom was great with shampoo, shower gel, handwash and body lotion. Good shower and magnifying mirror. Thick towels. The bed was really comfortable with great pillows, fridge and safe in the room. Breakfast had a good variety of pastries, fruit, bread, and cooked items. Great coffee from a machine. Reception staff really welcoming. I could not have asked for a better stay.

Another great stay. You really need to look no further in your Benidorm search than this place. It is in the south beach over looking the beach and remarkably quiet. Our room was great, big enough for the weekend. I am not sure I have found another hotel has put Rituals shower products in their rooms, they were a fabulous level of luxury which was a great touch. The hotel is decorated in pop art pictures which we enjoyed. The buffet breakfast is a must, it’s a great fusion of an English fry up and Spanish breakfast. Location, it’s just a 2 minute walk to the old town tapas bar heaven, if you want the noisy side of Benidorm add another 10 min walk. It’s just across the road from the south beach, which was clean and rock free unlike the Lavante beach We loved our stay! We will be back next time as it’s location has the best of both sides of this packed place

My upgraded room was amazing this brings up the marking for this hotel. Beds incredibly comfortable and the location perfect.

There is lots of things with very low standard. No AC anywhere in the building, corridors, lift. Just in the rooms. Some staff was very kind and helpful but some very rude and miserable. The rooms were cleanish but the lift, the common areas and mixed bathroom of the hotel not so much, very dirty and unorganised. Plates and cutlery were very dirty at breakfast. Shower gels, lotions were all empty in both of my rooms and the fridge had such a huge iceberg in it that not even a water bottle fitted in. There is lots of space for improvement.

We arrived much earlier than expected and room was ready. Sylvia at reception was really kind and organised nearby parking for us. We've stayed here many times and as usual the bed was extremely comfortable and the room was exceptionally clean. Breakfast was included and again was really good, with a good selection of hot food, pastries, toast fruit, cereal etc. Location is really good with lovely sea views .

The double bed we had, although very clean and comfortable, had only 1 side accessible. It was ok for us for a short stay, but next time we'll ensure we have twin beds.

We have stayed at this fab hotel many times, and it never disappoints. Right from the warm friendly service at check in, the rooms, cleanliness and of course the amazing location. We were helped in any way we needed, and nothing was too much trouble. We will be back again and again and again, and recommend it to everyone.

The breakfast is the only thing that lets this little gem of a hotel down. We were given complimentary breakfast, which was greatly appreciated, but there is a very limited selection. Maybe more fresh fruit and cereal? Refuel that is literally next door do a great breakfast at a reasonable price.

The staff were lovley on arrival & always very helpful.

We had asked for room change as the bed was against the wall. You couldnt walk around the beds & even my friend that was slim ....said When booking the room the picture did not match up. The staff were very helpful in suggesting a room at the back of the property. We had paid for Seaview room. We suggested a bed move as temporary which helped. I think myself I should have said I had mobility reasons for the move. I couldn't fault the staff they were all lovely Great hotel in the old town. With a sea view.
