Nice, new, and clean facility. Located near Kanazawa Station within a few minutes walk. There is 7-11 on the first floor of the hotel so it is very convenient. The bathroom is huge with both bath tub and shower area. The staff is very helpful. I want to change a reservation with a restaurant in Tokyo which needed to be done on the phone. I request the reception to help me make a call because it will be easier to communicate in Japanese. The restaurant didn't pick up so she promised to call again during off peak time. When I came back to the hotel in the afternoon, there is a note under my door saying that it is done. Very comfortable stay.

- For us, the location was important as it was close to the main station (easy access when we arrived by train) and it was also as close to the main bus station (direct bus that goes to Komatsu airport). Also a mall with lots of shops, restaurants and services, which was super helpful as the weather was not very good when we were there. - A crib was already set when we arrived as previously requested. - Clean, modern and very spacious room, even with an extra crib. - We asked some questions about the departure and the best options to go to Komatsu airport and they had all the information printed when we arrived.

- We arrived about an hour and a half earlier and while they said that the room was ready, they did not allow an early check-in but offered it at an extra cost. They kept the luggage until the check-in time, which was helpful, and we went for lunch, which we would have done anyway. It ended up being fine, but seemed unreasonable and felt off and unnecessary. - The area is not the nicest nor close to the main tourist areas but very convenient with easy access to the main train and bus stations (within 2-3 minutes walk), where there is a mall and lots of restaurants, shops, small supermarkets, etc. Just be mindful of what you look for when thinking about the location. - Breakfast options.

The location is very nice. The station is a 5 minute walk away, with plenty of restaurants, cafes and nice cute shops. The interesting thing about Kanazawa as a tourist is that thanks to their bus loops you can essentially get to every attraction from the station itself, which means this hotel enables you perfectly to keep things flexible and go on a whim to places that were not perhaps in your initial plan. The hotel itself is perfectly in line with other Daiwa Roynet hotels: quality interior (especially the bathroom) with good amenities, and a nice desk & chair combo for work, if need be. A strange and particular highlight here was a massage chair that came in super handy after long days out exploring the wonderful city. Finally, I was very impressed with the value for what I paid. This is possibly due to visiting in off-season, but I think it is still worth mentioning.

As in other DR hotels, beds are quite stiff, which may be a problem for some (perhaps only for western folks, not sure). I am used to it but it is still a puzzling choice in what would otherwise be a perfect room. Also, the hotel is really on top of the train station, and even though sound proofing is great, it is not enough to completely block sounds. Cargo trains would usually run deep into the night and be quite loud, so ear plugs are recommended if you are a light sleeper.

This sounded like a business oriented hotel, there's a good desk and chair work. I spent only one night there. It's comfortable, located close to the Kanazawa train station. Good bathroom, with the shower separated from the bathtub. I especially liked the massage chair, a good surprise in the room.

My reservation was for 2 adults and 2 kids (11 and 7). For some reason the youngest kid is considered differently, and one of the rooms was organized for the adult person only. There was only one pillow in a large bed, for instance. Also, since we were in 2 rooms, I asked for 2 cards per room, but the front desk said "only one card was allowed per adult person". Found it weird.

What a hotel! this hotel is right next to Kanazawa station so this means you have access to everything (shopping, trains, buses. etc) The room is very big compared to Japan standards and it also has a massage chair! this will come very handy when you get exhausted from walking all over town and need some relaxing time. The bed was a king size bed so it was very comfortable and the bathroom was very spacious with excellent shower pressure.

Ask for a room that doesn't face the train tracks. Sometimes you can hear the train overnight and if you are a light sleeper then this will definitely wake you up. Also, breakfast might not be something i would pay extra for. It is very convenient since its right there at the hotel but variety and food quality is not the best. However, honorable mention to them serving fresh pizza in the morning which was delicious.

The staff was very helpful and polite. We loved the bathroom! The hotel doesn't have a onsen but the room's bathtub is great and the overhead shower was a real plus. We liked the bath tablets very much and all the amenities. The hotel's parking lot was full but there are plenty of options around. Precisely the 24h parking lot in front of the hotel. It was fantastic not to be stressed about the car. The train station is very close so it is convenient for anyone. I liked that it was on the quieter side of the station. Everyone enjoyed the breakfast very much. The pizzas were the highlight and one of the reasons we chose the hotel. The staff at the restaurant were very helpful and the chef was extremely friendly. I also loved the Panna Cotta and the grilled mackerel! The hotel is new and we instantly felt at home. It was extremely relaxing to stay there. The children loved it there too. I cannot recommend enough.

We should have stayed longer.

Great location close to Kanazawa station. A 15 minute walk to reach Omicho Market, and then maybe 15 minutes more to reach the majority of major attractions in Kanazawa. Size of the room was larger than most other business hotels. Great bathroom and great amenities. Really friendly staff, decent wifi, and simple, yet flexible room service options.

This is more of a personal preference, but the beds felt a bit stiff for someone used to western-style beds. I'm sure it feels fantastic and comfortable for those used to futons on tatami. No other dislikes. I think we may become loyal Daiwa Roynet customers after this stay!

Breakfast is provided in a buffet restaurant downstairs. It is good. However, limited options for Vegan/Vegetarians. With so many Indians traveling, the hotel may consider keeping some Indian dishes also. However, we were OK with the limited options available as the staff in the restaurant was very good! The Indian chef also prepared a Vegetarian Pizza for us as we could not eat most of the Japanese breakfast items. The hotel is a new property and hence the interiors and fittings are modern. The space is much better than most Tokyo hotels. The check-in process is detailed but very helpful as they share all the details for your comfort. The staff is very courteous and has a genuine intent to help and make your stay a great experience. The location is the best part of this hotel. You can take your trains and buses from just 3-4 minutes walk from the hotel. There is a 7/11 store attached to the hotel also so you never run out of essentials. Check-out is a self-service process and really efficient. I will highly recommend this hotel. Do note that we stayed in the Daiwa Roynet Nishiguchi. There is another Daiwa Roynet at a similar distance from the station and this review is not about that.

Consider adding some Indian dish/ food items in the breakfast or increasing the Vegetarian items.

Location is 300m from train and bus station, staff were friendly and helped us book tickets to the Ninja temple as well as provide complimentary memory foam pillows, room was quiet and dark at night, enough space for two people plus luggage, shower room was great with good pressure and temperature, 7Eleven downstairs was convenient, reasonable price and complimentary umbrellas were appreciated in the rain. It's 1km walk to the Omi-cho markets and 2km to Kanazawa Castle and Gardens, so quite do-able one way on a fine day

No onsen

Located just a minute or two walk from the west exit of Kanazawa station. We initially booked just one night, but as our plans changed, we booked 3 more nights at midnight. The staff slipped a note under the door in the morning notifying us that our next room (we chose a larger room) was ready for immediate check in. Very proactive! Both rooms were spacious and allowed ample space to lay out luggage, use the desk, and move around. As typical with Daiwa properties, the bathroom is luxurious.
